Back in the 70's I was standing at an office vending machine waiting for my Snickers bar to drop, and the guy behind me said, "Ya know ... That's the best damn nickel candy bar that you can buy for a quarter. That's the way I feel about the Boldt.
Best line you have ever spoken in a video that I have watched.. “........That is expensive!!” You both are so genuine and affable it is difficult not to keep watching these. Amazing you can make each video entertaining and unique after so many.
I binge watch this channel even though I’m only in the market for a Class B! They are just so funny and they work so well together. They’re naturally funnier than a lot of comics.
Three things I don’t like 1. The bed 2. The bathroom 3. Size of the storage Three things I do like 1. The brand 2. The screen door 3. The seats I love y’all and congratulations on your channel
Showing these Class B's will bring many more people to your channel in my opinion ☺️Of course y'all know that already and I'm so glad you're showing these now. Amazing one to start with also
What?!?! A Class B?!?! I never thought I'd see it!!! Likes: 1) Huge awning 2) I love the roof with the rack, and it looks like room for another solar panel up front (if needed) 3) All electric. I love it. One less tank to worry about. 4) Huge lithium battery bank plus the huge inverter. 5) Front passenger swivel with table. That's where I could eat and use the laptop all the time, and not worry about keeping the bed made in the back. 6) The 81" long bed! I can't get a bed that long in a 40 foot diesel pusher, but I can in a van? 👍 7) Good sized rear bath with access from the outside (easy exterior shower) Dislikes: 1) Way too expensive. I get part of the reason why, but even the sale price is way too high. 2) Would prefer AWD 3) Take out the smaller bed and put in a larger fridge and more storage / counter space, and I (as a solo traveler) could camp in this for weeks. However, that small fridge is a no go for me. I'd run out of meat and veggies in 3 days.
@@MattsRVReviews A pleasure. But you caught me in the act. I've probably changed it 5 times since you posted. I always work on my list while I watch, and pause, and watch, and go back and rewatch, and so on. 😎😁
I have to say I'm impressed! I, like Matt, need more space, a real bed, bathroom, etc... Love the cabinetry, bathroom (for a wet bath), Mercedes quality. Not for me, but really nice! Great job, as always Matt and Andrea!
Thanks for doing a Class B! Likes: twin bed floor plan, light colors, plenty of counterspace. Dislikes: not much! Other than the price, I'm sold - love this unit.
Thank you Matt for reviewing a Class B. I love the idea of a “B” but as you point out in the video, there are trade offs. Two additional pluses of a “B” is maneuverability, some neighborhoods do not allow you to park an RV, but as you pointed out....they can be “stealth” RVs. They can also function as a “travel” van. Some people like to travel from point A to B, with maybe a stop in between, then stay in a hotel or with family when they arrive. Also, some National Parks have length restrictions to enter. Good Job! Love your videos and Andrea is an excellent partner.
If I HAD to have a class B for off grid, this would be it. Love that little bathroom (awesome for class B), nice kitchen (except for small fridge with door opening the wrong way!), good storage. But one dedicated bed is enough. I'd use the long couch space for other purposes. Yes, I'd like to see Class B reviews! Thanks for the great video!
I loved class B’s!!! I’m an avid RV lover!! I watch Going RV every Wednesday and whenever I get a chance I window shop for RV. I’m dream RV is the 2Fl Anderson. Built fully pimped out extreme RV!! Enjoyed your review!
I love class B's! My fav! I don't like the little fridge, the Sprinter Diesel, the bathroom in the back, because you open the back door and people are looking at your bathroom, also the uneven bed. I love the solar, the insulation, 4 season, the swivel seats and table, oh the quiet ac!
Yes to more Class B’s. I love that I could park it in my driveway despite a strict HOA. Love the regenerating electric system in this and the Travato Ls.
Hey Mercedes, here’s a review Class A manufacturers needs to pay attention to this model. Solar package! Love. 1 swivel cabin seats. 2 euro cabinets with locks. 3 ConvectionMW Dislikes 1 kitchen faucet needs to be tall with sprayer. 2 a bed to sleep two 3 two burners For quick weekend camping this is your model.
Love, love, love. More, more, more! There is a Travato out there with the same Volta system and a little different inside configuration. Has a booth in the kitchen. Thank you!
Suggestions: 1. Needs a deeper sink 2. Bed needs to be parallel OR a Murphy Bed 3. Larger frig i.e. Dometic 4. More counter space 5. Outside Mirrors with ability to have movable positions from inside rig 6. Lagun table arm on a larger table
It’s really a beautiful class b And the features are outrageous but the price is crazy however the price you guys are offering it for is outrageous what a great thing
Matt and Andrea, I love the video. Both of you hit a home run with this class B. I'm thinking about buying class B. I definitely keep this model in mind while I'm shopping for a class B. I can't wait to see both of you in your next video.
Thanks, do more class B reviews! Finally I'm seeing the styling and features I've seen with European models. My preference is the smallest vehicle that meets primary needs. The ability to park any where is a major plus. I want to visit as many national parks and sites around the country as we can. Anything that makes that easier is what I want. Also, we have dogs and the ability to run A/C with no motor going while we are out seeing the sights (again, our ONLY purpose for having RV) is a major plus. Fuel prices and ecological concerns make smaller vehicles our way to go.
This is really super nice! 3 Things I like: 1.) Solar - awesome! 2.) Nice bathroom! 3.) Awesome driving assist! 3 Dislikes: 1.) Kitchen faucet doesn't have a hose. 2.) Extremity small fridge 3.) The kitchen needs to be on the other side of the couch/bed so the beds line up. Fridge is way too small! I can see a tall fridge where the closet is. Across the entry way, put the closet/storage, it's behind the driver seat, now that space will have a 'better' attached table to come down for the person sitting in the driver to use, and still have good view of the TV. It's convenient for clothes and shoe storage. When traveling like this, do you really want to hang clothes? We need proper food cold storage, where ever we go. This tiny itty bitty fridge is not okay. Way too small, not useful.
Matt and Andrea have done a great job changing our minds about class B. Never saw the value until their reviews this week. Class B is different, but when I really thought about I realized I would probably use it far more often than an A. This model has a high price but the features, function and quality make that price reasonable. Perfect for that long trip in total comfort and class.
I do not like wet baths. I think a sofa recliner with cupholders as well a simple single bed and a dedicated shower would be better. The major like is the ability to use in the city but I have even seen shorter custom mercs (the 144 series )with more practical appointments.
Wonderful van.I am so pleased that you have decided to review these units. In the new dispensation they would work as mobile offices as well as homes. They would allow someone such as a health care worker to do a clean up and sanitization in their vehicle before heading into the house. I know the Mercedes is expensive ,I have followed Leisure Travel Vans for some time, but in your hands I know we will get an analysis that will lead to improvements from all players in the sector. Congrats on the fitness program.Blessings
Three things I like about the Boldt are: Prime pooping position, prime pooping position, and prime pooping position.:) The best thing I like about your video (besides the always helpful Andrea) is that you actually drive it. Nobody does that and it is absolutely as important and any any other feature of a class b. Congrats.
I love class B’s!!! I’m an avid RV lover!! I watch Going RV, RV Nation, Extreme RV, RV Countdown, etc.. every Wednesday and whenever I get a chance I window shop for RV’s. This Winnebago class B is pretty phenomenal, as I never thought of a class B ever having such a nice sized shower. The honest to goodness look on your face when you realized it was a 4P rating was great to see! Thank you for all of your honesty, Matt & Andrea!!! You both make everything you review so easy to understand. It’s no wonder manufacturers are paying attention to your channel.
Wow, covering a Class B & with some panache!! I've seen a lot of Class B's and I'd have to say this is one of the better planned ones! Price is very similar but with a '4-season' in mind. I love that the storage shelving is adjustable and that you really can use the wet-bath. First impression is great! Way to go Winnebago!
I am commenting because I see you have 997 and you only need 3 more to keep doing more Class B reviews! I’m with you Matt - Class Bs aren’t for me but I know a lot of people really like them and you guys such an awesome job with all of your reviews so I definitely think you should continue!
Looking good Matt!!! Pretty soon, you'll have to change your reviews! "Who else will take their skinny ass up on the roof to show you the features? NOBODY!" Keep up the great work!
Thank you for reviewing Class B’s, we are also interested in the PleasureWay Ontour 2.2 and Coachmen Beyond because they are on a Ford. I would love to hear your opinion on those.
I like the Volta system a lot, I also like the bed and I think that style bed has a way to put the head up a bit. I also like the bathroom area. I didn't see a lot to dislike
We've been patiently waiting for a B review. Just as surprised to see this video as you were when you realized the prime pooping position. Love the Boldt and especially your pricing. Still undecided though between a B or a B+. Hope to see more reviews for these types of campers.
I saw a video on a Winghamm which I think is an Italian vehicle. It had a Longitudinal pull down bed with skylight. I fell in love with it! I feel like nothing else will do now since I can't "unsee" it...lol. Do we have anything like that in USA?
Class B's are not really my taste either, but I really liked seeing this review. Please do more and I did enjoy seeing you test drive this model too. Just want to say you both rock and Matt you have a wonderful partner in Andrea.
Matt, please review more B Classes. I truly believe YOU have an opportunity to help shape the future of the B class. Your reviews are fun, intelligent, honest, and technically accurate. Continue to stay humble and enjoy your success!
You should do more class B RVs. I really like the way you do reviews and I'm really interested in class B's, not everyone wants to have a bus as an RV.. lol!
Finally a class B, That Boldt is the only Class B I would trade my Winnebago Travato K class B for, I tow my 4 seat Polaris RZR with my TK and it struggles with the Pentastar gas engine on the long grades in AZ. That diesel would not break a sweat going up those grades. I want one!!
I enjoyed this video. I need to see the B+ version of this van though. This could work but the small fridge, one burner, & one cook top wouldn’t fit my plans & intended usage. Thanks for this review.
I love class b’s and would like to see more. I like the mechanical & electrical features, cockpit, magnetic door screen, and size of the bathroom. That being said the interior design of the unit leaves a lot to be desired if they are promoting it for full time use. The weird “double” bed is useless for sleeping 2. The fridge needs to be bigger and needs to have 2 induction cook tops, I would promote the van for solo travelers and get rid of the small couch to put in more cabinets, make the kitchen counter top & longer by removing the drivers table (this way you would have more space for another induction cooker). Last but not least I would offer a boon-docking option of a cassette toilet thus freeing up valuable space for more freshwater carrying capacity.
You are both so fun. It's like watching a tiny homes tour. I'm not buying anything but I come here often for my morning coffee and it is so relaxing. Thanks for the videos.
Just found your site and this Class B being all electric is what pulled me in to watch. Things I liked 1-All electric 2-The color combo 3-Wet Bath Things I don’t like 1-No Garage space in back 2-The bed is ducky. Doesn’t work for two people to sleep or if need to get up during the night to go to bathroom. 3-Need a table between beds for dining or work area.
Last comment from me , I promise lol. After watching to the end I have to say that as nice as it is I am with y'all on the couches/bed. I have seen it done so much better in lots of other class B vans and it's actually disappointing. Even if I had the money to buy one of these ( which I don't lol) I couldn't choose this one because of the couches even though everything else is perfect to me, especially the off grid abilities.
Thanks for doing a Class B, Matt! 3 things not crazy about: 1) the offset bunks & narrow walkway, 2) the single induction burner, 3) not being able to afford it! 😢. 3 things I love: 1) it’s fully off-grid & solar powered!, 2) amazing styling & Mercedes bells & whistles, 3) very workable for a Class B.
George Burns and Gracie Allen!! Seriously, the Class B is the best for running around and having fun. You wrestle those 30"+ Class A's ( and some Class C's) around town and areas you really want to be in, and your begin to see the advantage of the Class B. You really can hide it practically anywhere and still have all the comforts of home.
@@jlarm3 , indeed. I saw another couple who normally travel in a C and they rented a B for a Florida trip. Over and over and over he was delighted at being able to take a normal parking spot and with the ease of getting in and out of campsites. It was pretty funny.
Nice safety features in MB chassis. Volta system is cool (I rather have a generator). The rest of it I just don’t get lol. Then again we are not class B people. We would take a Navion all day over this. Great reveiw Matt thanks for sharing. Izzy
Thanks for doing a Class B review. As a single person, this could have been a great solution. But, in my amateur opinion too much sacrifice for too much money. Not for the retired person.
Matt Andrea.....great job!!!!!! So much fun.....Loved the footage of the voice activation....welcome to the FUTURE annoyances. ....STEALTh....Bath....Quality Small.....Tight.......Cramped....all the same...lol
Like the bolt and love more Class B reviews... VanLife is a huge growing population. 3 things I love: 1. Mercedes Platform and safety features. 2. Swivel passenger and driver seats. 3. Lithium and solar. Things I don’t like. 1. Lack of storage. Need storage for 2 chairs, 1 folding table and a small bbq. 2. Need a larger sep fridge/freezer. 3. Need legun table setups
This was so interesting to me. Love that wet bath-so huge! First time I've commented. Is there storage under the sofas? Super bells & whistles. Agree with Andrea-need 2 burners.
Would like to see more class B RV reviews with lower prices. This one is nice, but too much money.

I absolutely Love this Bolt!!!
I would also love to see your review of the Coachman Galleria and the Revel as requested in my prior comment. Thumbs up on the diet (it’s working).
Thank you so much! I will get more reviews on class Bs soon!
You are both so fun. It's like watching a tiny homes tour. I'm not buying anything but I come here often for my morning coffee and it is so relaxing. Thanks for the videos.
Matt, at last a B class. Sure do more of these. Great job, as always.
Just found your site and this Class B being all electric is what pulled me in to watch.
Things I liked
1-All electric
2-The color combo
3-Wet Bath
Things I don’t like
1-No Garage space in back
2-The bed is ducky.
MOVE OVER ABBOTT AND COSTELLO... IT'S THE MATT AND ANDREA SHOW!!!!! SO ENDEARING!!!
But Andrea is WAAYYY better looking that A&C. Matt, how did you ever get Andrea to marry you? Is it your *charming personality*???
Izzy
Yes 100% Me too!
Thanks for doing a Class B review. As a single person, this could have been a great solution. But, in my amateur opinion too much sacrifice for too much money. Not for the retired person.
Thanks for sharing your feedback 👍
I respect the fact that you are telling the truth about the down sides. I just now starting to research the RV lifestyle and you guy are very helpful
I like this its perfect for one person. love interior decoration
Matt Andrea.....great job!!!!!! So much fun.....Loved the footage of the voice activation....welcome to the FUTURE annoyances. ....STEALTh....Bath....Quality Small.....Tight.......Cramped....all the same...lol

Like the bolt and love more Class B reviews... VanLife is a huge growing population. 3 things I love: 1. Mercedes Platform and safety features. 2. Swivel passenger and driver seats. 3. Lithium and solar.
Things I don’t like. 1. Lack of storage. Need storage for 2 chairs, 1 folding table and a small bbq. 2. Need a larger sep fridge/freezer. 3. Need legun table setups
Hey Matt how about a Leisure Travel Van next? Congrats on all the followers.
I had a Jayco 29D about 30 ft. I rather have a B because u don’t need a car, plus u can use it like a car and good for long day trips
Matt & Andrea, great job! I love all your reviews; please throw in more Class B’s. Thank you.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting 😊👍
More class B’s!!! Love 1) the screen door, 2) amount of rooftop solar, and 3) power sliding door. Not so much 1) the twin beds.
Thanks for sharing your feedback Doug:)
This was so interesting to me. Love that wet bath-so huge! First time I've commented. Is there storage under the sofas? Super bells & whistles. Agree with Andrea-need 2 burners.
Yes more class B!
👍
Love it! I love class bs please do more vids of them!
Finally something besides the class A's, thank you.
👍👍
Love it! Now $200+ K with lithium ion batteries???
