It's an interesting commentary to say that you have got buildings being built, before you actually have any residents. I suppose those must be construction crews that are contracted at someone else's cost to build the initial buildings. A walking path is definitely needed from the passenger depot to the residential area, it can always be removed later if necessary.
I used to watch a UA-camr called “Spike Viper” years ago, play Cities Skylines 1. He’s now moved on and started playing other games. Found your channel, and I’m ready to follow another good looking series!
Would be cool if over time the coastal road bulks up and becomes a ring road for the island. Also would love to see what kind of outlandish roads you would come up with the Road builder mod
without a outside road connection no one will have cars and industry will have no way to move the cargo to harbor and you can create outside connections by connecting road to edge of your owned tile
I loved that series! Since this is a part 2, I wish you would've did a little flashback sequence in the beginning of this video. Missed opportunity there!
I’m still watching as I’m commenting. Very nice so far. Few thought. If you anarchy your resources I don’t think that they will work. This is what I’ve heard. The original oil field you placed was fine. You simply had no workers and also no demand. Check your demand in your production area. You can use your services area to lower your costs especially at the beginning. The costs of things like internet service doesn’t include the cost of employees and their payroll. This will cost way more for everything you buy. Good luck! 👍
I have not played isolated personally, but what I have heard is that cars only spawn at connections, there are no “pocket cars” like in cs1. So on an isolated map with no mods, traffic will never spawn, only service vehicles.
A taxi service would be perfect for this fledgling nation. Bring the noobs from ship to home, and workers and shoppers to the industrial and commercial areas to spread the workers out, creating a larger tax base.
33:12 You could have made more short pedestrian walkways or made a bus line to transport the residential area and from the residential area to the factory area.
You should have a path to the cargo terminal that makes the walking distance as short as possible. This way you can get workers there to bring the cars in.
Nearly 200k subscribers and can't be arsed to reply to the comments. Loads of people have asked what map it is and what mods you use. Just as long as they subscribe eh
I am assuming you are using mods because if not eventually you will have the same issue the USA has which is how do you transition from an oil economy as it will run out.
You will grow very slowly if you only use low density, as there is also demand for medium and high density due to having unlock all.

AMERICA: Looks like Oil Town needs some Democracy
Best series you’ve ever done is the original oil town. Excited for this one
I love listening to your fucking voice.. who needs a radio while working when Seniac is on the block
Right? Bros Voice is so calming 😭
Build the "oil zone" within the Circle of the oil refinery (not square). There is a circle arount the building.

Dream come true! Oil Town is what brought me to this channel! Also, please bring back the comments in the intros from the old Oil Town days.
I love the way you go through everything in detail from the start, instead of assuming that everyone watching knows what/how your doing it.
Can't believe it! Oil Town version 2 in City skylines 2. I was waiting for this to come
Oiltown got me hooked! Excited for this sequel! 💪
Think you need a single bus route between the Res - Harbour - Ind. help them move easier + makes you some money.
Would be cool if over time the coastal road bulks up and becomes a ring road for the island. Also would love to see what kind of outlandish roads you would come up with the Road builder mod
You can add taxi depot and add call centre to it for easy travel
Seniac listened to me :)
I remember the first OilTown it kept me busy during the pandemic

Crazy that this was on my home page. I havent heard your voice since the lumber tycoon days

Super stoked to watch Oil Town V2!
OMGGGGGGGGG the best series of cs is back!!! 🎉🎉
I heard that CS2 will also release some offshore industries including oil in the bridges and ports DLC so there's that to look forward to
Really enjoyed the original Oiltown, looking forward to the new series 👍
Bro has the highest degree in yapilonogy😂😂
Great to see the sequel of the well loved OilTown
Love this series, please continue!!
You just play and show too many games I like. Had to subscribe.
so great to see you back on CS2 love you CS content
I saw OilTown. Nice to see OilTown 2.
what mods and what map are you using or did you just make your own map? I would like to try this one myself.
Your really keen on making all the roads exactly the same length and shape as each other for some unknown reason.
I’m still watching as I’m commenting. Very nice so far.

I'm excited to watch this series play out without pocket cars. Hoping the sims can actually purchase cars eventually.
Seniac, to add road connections use tunnels to go to the edge of the map, you won’t be able to see it as it’s underground.
Defeats the purpose of the series being isolated
The game might glitch out, I believe cs2 still needs one road connection for economy to work properly

Interesting!
Which map is this please

Instructions unclear, some country named USA has approached me after I built the town
Airport on the big island next door would be sick
A walking path from the harbor to the house district would help them get there faster as there is no public transport for now
Welcome back to C:S Seniac!
This one is a throwback.
Idea: build oil fields in the ocean and have cargo boats selling it outside the region
I am so ready to start this series
i love this concept!
To speed up movement you could have made a path from the resident area to the port it would only be a shortcut tho.
You should add another passenger route from a different direction to bring in more people.
Best video ever❤❤❤
Pumped for the series
YESS
Waiting for this series. Different from other content
Missed these videos!!!
I'm excited for this lets play
I think I will watch all episodes of Oil Town 1 before I watch the next episode of Oil Town 2
OIL TOWN RETURNSSSS????!?!?!!!
Yo I flipping remember u I used to watch u on Roblox I think u played lumber tycoon 2 also bro ur a piece of my childhood
Seniac, you just put your industry up wind of your residential. All that air pollution is going to blow hard over your houses.
Workers at the dealership are like they are not walking all the way to the harbor to collect cars😂
They lazy
U.S. Government just entered chat...
9:53 I would suggest having the passenger harbor facing the ocean and not the bay.
When are you going to start promoting tea for the queen 😂😂😂
I see you spiffing brit
a path will speed up people getting to their homes and anoth passenger connection will bring more people in faster
Might have missed it but the wind direction?? have you taken that into consideration? 🙂
Part 2 lets slide out🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for choosing right hand traffic.... It is quite disturbing for us, normal people, when it's LHD. :)
I hope it's been improved enough Fer yer return!
keep it up fool!
BRO YOU CREATED A DISTRICT AFTER MY MOM!!!! LMAOOOO
Is City Skylines 2 worth getting now?
OIL TOWN IS BACK!!!
Maybe make a busroute between passenger harbor, residential area and industrial area
missed opportunity to call it OilVille it sounds better that OilTown
I might be 3 weeks late but I just want to point out that Benjamin Ortega is the rightful founder father
Please release the next video of this series
