wow the premonition of suikoden v! so the plot was already being draft during the release of suikoden II. I adore the 5th series so as I played the 2nd I feel super excited seeing the characters that would be there 😆
This is one of the best "secret" in suikoden 2, you can recruit the previous hero and there is a story in it, not just like "bonus character" you just get it and play with it, i hope in the future suikoden 6 all the heroes 1,2 and 3, 4 and 5 will reunited
Seriously MC in suikoden does not have romantic feeling, or maybe they supposed to not attached with that knowing they will live forever until they fullfil their fate of true rune Tir and kasumi Riou and eillie
Even better, if you investigate Georg Prime in suiko 2, the result will be sth like: "Used to be a Royal Knight in Falena but can't return because he killed the Queen.. what happened there..?"

I don't know which line you mean with while running away, you mean in Tinto? Because in Tinto it is randomly which to characters of your party follow you. Really I could give it a try, but first I haven't got my save game anymore, and second I don`t know all the lines.
Lorelai said "Queendom of Farena", isn't that name is the Queendom in Suikoden 5??? Instead its Falena in that game not Farena, but you know Japanese translation usually is like that
RPD STARS team and Tantalus brother translations're kinda wacky here sometimes (Jowy's name suddenly became Joei, at 1 dialogue the two runes are said to be Shining Shield and Black Blade instead of Bright Shield and Black Sword, an State 🤣) and tbh r and l uses the same japanese writing so it's not unusual to mess up lol
i went to save the game after leknaat appear then i went to recruit the last few characters, so i have all 108 but gremio died anyway! i was sooo mad. i wonder if i can still get this scene because i just continue playing suikoden 2 loading from suikoden 1
I just found my old copy of Suikoden II. But I don't have Suikoden 1 anymore, so I can't use McDohl without my data from the first game right? Or can I? Someone tell me if you know.

The fact that Suikoden V lore was already being prepared here and if you bring kasumi to this quest, there is an extra cut scene. Awesome game.
If you chose Kasumi and take her with you for this quest, you can get an extra scene where she confesses her feelings for McDohl
If you bring Kasumi, there will be additional scene on Mcdohl house, she loves her young lord after all

Georg in Suikoden II and V are indeed the same person, with the version in II being 11 years older and wiser.
Poor graphics but the game was filled with many extras and sidequests. A game way ahead of its time.

yes you're right. But he will be revived by Leknaat, when you manage to recruit all 108 stars before going to the final battle.
Man,I'd love to play this game again. But getting all the characters is such a huge pain in the ass.
I loved getting Tir for soul eater but Im never sure its worth it to have Gremio again I could not stand him.

why Pahn and Cleo don't have portraits on top of the text??? only Tir and Gremio do
If you notice, Eileen, Varkas, Sarah, Sydonia, and Marie also don't have portraits
