The Grammys do not represent the entirety of the Western market. You speak of gatekeepers while being a gatekeeper yourself, saying westerners don’t deserve BTS.
@@cyann410 I am totally aware if that but they do from time to time hav anon nominated artists perform like Demi Lovato performed her new music donuts not totally unprecedented. And my comment was more geared towards the snubbing of nominations in general. Thanks!
It’s nice to see Jimin in his element with contemporary dance since he went to school for it and was #1 in his class. They all were sooooo good! Especially RM and Jin, I’m proud of how far they’ve come in dancing.
You wanna know something bruh Jimin is the only member with a background in contemporary dance. You wanna know something else Jin and RM had zero dance experience before BTS. You wanna know something else these guys still look amazing and in sync Everytime. In BTS everyone is apart of the dance line point blank period.
Only jhope n jimin have dance experience. The rest of 5 members all need to learn from scratch. Suga might have some beatboy dance move but bts is not strictly doing beatboy dance.
RM's dancing also stunned me here. Glad yall spotted him workin it out! He has become more and more comfortable in his body ever since he started doing pilates like, idk... a year ago? I think the fact that he wasn't as comfortable with himself before that really had an impact on his dancing, I think it stiffened him up and kind of freaked him out. He's WAY more confident in himself this year, many people have noticed it (and he's insinuated as much himself), and this performance in particular is a marked change in him. He's always been able to crush the choreo, of course, but until this performance, I had never seen him really... totally give himself over to it. He was never completely willing to do that. I don't know him personally, so I can't say this with any authority at all, _but_ I truly think that RM being able to feel better in his own body-in multiple ways-has allowed him to accept the idea of his body being able to create and merge with art. To fuse with music in the same way that lyrics do. He's always been VEEEERY cerebral in his art, not so much kinetic. It's great to see his energies beginning to balance themselves out.
I noticed that with the previous tour - as it went along, his body rolls seemed smoother. Whether that is a mental or physical thing with him, I don’t know. There have been a lot of comments about Jin and RM’s dancing through the years, I think it’s because they stand out. But part of the reason they stand out is their height. I get the feeling that Korea doesn’t experience the variance in height that we do in the US (please correct me if I’m wrong!). And when you dance as part of a group size/height makes a difference, especially with ever changing formations. One person may need 5 steps, when it’s 4 for the other. This means one slows down, or they ‘scrunch’ their space, or the other speeds up, or...? But anytime you play with the speed of a step it’s going to mess with the overall look of the choreography across all the dancers AND make the dancer not match the timing of the music. A lot of times all you can do is ‘scrunch’ your steps, which makes you look tense. Sometimes these challenges can be met head-on in the choreography. I should go back and see if this is part of the change that’s going on. I have long wished they would get an instructor for Jin and RM that were able to help then translate their height when dancing. Of course, I could be totally off base! Maybe RM is just feeling more secure in himself overall. We’re seeing him sing on occasion now and he hasn’t done that in years. I’m guessing he was made fun of by some haters out there. It’s just sad how much affect haters have on people.
This was literally me when I saw RM dancing in the back! I was like to all of y'all haters saying my bias can't dance, HERE YOU GO LOOK AT HIM. I'M SO PROUD.
Your reactions are soooooo true. BTS is coming to enhance our musical life with beautiful scenery ( their MV and themselves ). And their songs. The where dancing on holographic tiles on the floor which projected the water. BEAUTIFUL and MAGICAL.
FYI about Suga: he may not be in the dance line but Suga used to bboy back in the day. During his trainee days while he was still attending college, because they were poor his parents couldn’t send him money for tuition, Suga did a part time job as a food delivery boy not telling the company about it. he would do it after school and training. One night he had an accident and dislocated his shoulders, he was afraid he will be kick out of the company so he didn’t tell anyone after a few days the staff noticed he was hurt, he could bare the pain he told them what happened. Instead of being kicked out and scolded. Bighit told him they will pay his tuition and that they will wait till he recovers. Thus, the end of Suga’s bboy days. 💜💜💜
Nah I definitely think SNL was the smallest stage they’ve ever performed on 😂😂 The Late Late Show definitely outdid themselves as an American show (with the stage and filming the performance) bc usually whenever BTS performs somewhere in the US...it’s ruff, there just never 100% prepared (talking about the size/set up of the stage and how they film the boys) Shoutout to getting zero cuts to the crowd 🥳
Jhope was also worried about the small stage, he thought that someone would get hurt and that someone was himself, 2:30 V kicked him in the head so hard that he almost fainted, he said, the funny thing is that V did not notice because he said he was too nervous 😂😂💜
Yeah like they said about mess up on stage V: that's not in my vocabulary, i'm perfect! (too nervous to notice)😂 JH: I don't care (the show must go on)😆😂💜💜💜✌

This staging will always be iconic, and the song itself masterful. Grammys don't want this kind of act, because they show up what western artists offer, and outshine it. As a matter of routine, they outshine, not because they are trying to compete - they have no competition - but because it is routine for BTS to forever aim to outshine themselves and perpetually give more than we can expect.

It has pretty strict standards they have to adhere to.
Grammys putting BTS on their headlines but gave them very little time, treating them like back up dancers.
The Grammys do not represent the entirety of the Western market. You speak of gatekeepers while being a gatekeeper yourself, saying westerners don’t deserve BTS.
I think it simply just because BTS is not western artist, like Bong Joon Ho director said when Parasite won an Oscar, same cases
Too COLD!
Yass!
Only jhope n jimin have dance experience. The rest of 5 members all need to learn from scratch. Suga might have some beatboy dance move but bts is not strictly doing beatboy dance.
Nice comment 💜. This is basically their stab at a contemporary piece, hence the bare feet. It's awesome.
He was killing it🤗💜💜💜❗
RM be killing it!!!
Your reactions are soooooo true. BTS is coming to enhance our musical life with beautiful scenery ( their MV and themselves ). And their songs. The where dancing on holographic tiles on the floor which projected the water. BEAUTIFUL and MAGICAL.
It reminded me of the Catarsys project by Connect BTS...
Nah I definitely think SNL was the smallest stage they’ve ever performed on 😂😂
The Late Late Show definitely outdid themselves as an American show (with the stage and filming the performance) bc usually whenever BTS performs somewhere in the US...it’s ruff, there just never 100% prepared (talking about the size/set up of the stage and how they film the boys)
Shoutout to getting zero cuts to the crowd 🥳
AMEN ALL BTS, ZERO CUTS TO THE CROWD 🙌
I agree the SNL stage is the smallest 💜
Jhope was also worried about the small stage, he thought that someone would get hurt and that someone was himself, 2:30 V kicked him in the head so hard that he almost fainted, he said, the funny thing is that V did not notice because he said he was too nervous 😂😂💜
Yeah like they said about mess up on stage
V: that's not in my vocabulary, i'm perfect! (too nervous to notice)😂
JH: I don't care (the show must go on)😆😂💜💜💜✌
@@kimlan7441 I don't think the "not in my vocabular" line meant what you think it means...Tae said in his VLIVE that he uses that phrase as a way to avoid answer questions when he doesn't quite know what to say. 😂
@@poodlestail I know friend😂. They said it before the performance too.
V (joker): Why are you so serious?😂😆💜💜💜✌
@@poodlestail He did actually use it in a more clever way there on purpose, though. He literally said, "That's not in my vocabulary. I'm perfect." The "I'm perfect" part is hard to hear over the crowd, but that's what he says. So he is, in fact, insinuating that he "doesn't understand messing up"... because he's too good to know what that is.
It was actually Yoongi (he's blond) . See @ 5:34 yoongi is the one beside hobi. Also at 5:39
4:20 tq for noticing RM and Jin.. they lookin soo smoothh, woh im soo hppy n proooud!!
I love BTS BUT hats off to the magnificently super talented #JIMIN !!! As J-Hope noted in a Korean TV show when the MV dropped, the whole thing is "JIMIN, JIMIN, JIMIN" I'm so PROUD of JIMIN and all he has achieved, He is amazing on stage and in all his performances.
Jin has a manly physique, but he is very flexible. Hot!
I feel I can’t even describe how deeply BTS has blessed my life with LIFES Treasures. I truly treasure them. Great show guys I love seeing you all being so moved by BTS too
💜💜💜
4:21 YESSSSS BLAZE thank you, Namjoon is my ultimate bias and I couldn’t take my eyes off of him, his dancing in this is TOP TIER, OUR PRESIDENT COMING THRU!!!
This is the best black swan performance! Raw and beautiful! So graceful and sound so good❤
Blaze is all of us RM biased ARMY when we saw this performance. I said the same thing you can’t sleep on him anymore. To me they all are worthy of the dance line.
Facts💜💜💜❗
I like how everytime in every reaction to RM yall giving the the salute. Because. YES 👏👏👏
Blaze hyping up RM made my day! Great reaction from you guys as always.
💜💜💜
Do I hear an RM bias! Cant sleep on my baby, RM! I stan a handsome, talented, hardworking man! #sexybrain #kimnamjoonforpresident
Love the salute when RM steps out. Had the same reaction myself. SIR.
Hobi was such a pro here when V accidentally kicked him in the face he just kept going and u guys should watch the hide and seek part its hilarious
Poor hobi😔
I didn't notice at all!!!
They are pure art. To call them a boy band does not compute. They are so much more. Art.
3:47 Jimin coming through and..".killin' me now...killin' me now"...Like literally...and then my heart went bump bump bump...💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Finally guys what took you soooo long??Great reaction!!!
Blaze and AJJ act like their jobs more important than BTS lol🤓

This is what grammy’s is missin? It would have been a lit and trending worldwide...#jimintheblackswan
BTS attending the grammy be like “we’re here to save the show”
I’ve been waiting for y’all to react to this. This performance was so epic and I love that the lights on the floor pulsed along with their movements , it amplified how precise they are . I’ve seen this so many times and I still get goosebumps every single time. All 7 of them brought such a unique spin on this choreo and created something beautiful .
Jackie C I need to watch this at least 7 more times then 7 more on the real 🤓
WhatchaGot2Say you’ll end up watching it more than that lol :)
I read 'precious' instead of 'precise' lol
Hahahahaha
Jill Hollon well I mean they are that too lol
@@jlcarmya2z yes they are 💜💜💜
“America has been blessed by BTS’ presence”
PERIOD.
I am totally feeling you Blaze. RM is my bias and I was soooo proud of him. I was up with my kid watching and yelling to her did you see RM. it was an amazing performance!!!! So happy to have our boys back. :)
How cute when all 3 of you salute when RM appeared in the screen. ☺️😂
The General!
Their performance was graceful, elegant and beautiful. So proud of them! 💜
He(Jimin) did the dance on his toes. Hope was kicked in the face and still kept dancing.
to be honest, you're one of the few reactors out there who actually KNEW THE SONG enough to hum or sing a couple of lines. I've seen so many, waaay too many reactors who claim to be 'fans' or 'ARMY' but obviously doesn't even know the song or doesn't even listen to BTS off cam. Only pretends to like them for clout.
I really appreciate how genuine you guys are. Like you keep watching BTS because you love their music, message and style and it shows.
Thank you for being one of the rare reactors.. haha.
I love that you all salute every time Namjoon comes on.
Nice!!! I loved dude's reaction to rm breakin it down😭💜
Thank you Blaze for giving RM his shout out! I really have to give RM and Jin a round of applause cos no one should ever say they can't dance with this.
Concept-wise, they're out of this world. Super original and creative. They're level 99999999 in all aspects. And if course i have been waiting for that remix in the end. 😍😂
So glad you finally responded to the video! Now you should respond to the hide and seek portion because it was hilarious! Love that you boys enjoy BTS! Welcome to the ARMY!!
I loved this performance! It gave all the members the chance to shine and show their talent and improvements in dancing. This dance also really suits Jimin with his contemporary dance background and it's totally different from what they usually do.
P.s. I was taking a drink of water when blaze got excited and pointed out RM dancing and it made me laugh causing water to spit out all over the homework I put to the side to watch this. It was totally worth it though
Erika Johnson Oh man lol 😂 Glad we could make you laugh like that but sorry about the hw 😳

Now I know why they choose Corden Show.
I have watch the recording on my tv all week. I was so excited!
Bookish theories about this performance!! I did not think there was anything to analyze but DAMN!! It's wild. The upside down three from fake love, like STAPH! BTS is killing me now 🎶

Fake love and black swan are like relatives lol.
Thank u for acknowledge my little suga’s dancing skills. His dancing is so underrated.😫😂
This performance is magic, pure poetry! They're amazing, They can sing, rap, dance and averything is awsome, I'm in love with Them! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
They are fantastic, they always meet our expectations and leave us wanting more. It was what I wanted to see BTS dancing contemporary. Jin is dancing better every time I love him. Thanks for your reactions to BTS. Grammy's awards are not yet up to their presentations missed a beautiful show. It is my humble opinion. Blessings!!!! bye
They are moving like human "swans"....Still feelin pain for Jhope gettin kicked in the face....5:40- 5:42 (you even see Jhope grab his face....and he never misses a beat (amazing!)
In terms of conveying the message and execution of emotion, this is definitely their hardest dance routine.
We need people to appreciate jin more he literally got to be front and center more than once in this performance and am here for it he danced like the total pro he is. They worked so hard for this and u can tell we are blessed with these 7 amazing artists ❤️❤️❤️🤯🤯🤯💜💜💜
Yes guys you're right the shadow is above water now that's means he took over the persona and came out from the inner
Fatma Hassan Oh wow that's crazy
Awesome sauce!!!
Absolutely!
BTS took over America. There is no one doing it like them. America has been blessed by BTS.
Well, you’re speaking facts. :-)
I’m still sleepy, woke up to drink water, checked my phone, saw a notification from u guys, and clicked as fast as I can! LOL I love your reactions as always!!! :-)
Did you see J-Hope get kicked in the head and keep performing like nothing happened?! Talk about professional. I purple him. 💜
I always love watching your reactions! You guys make me appreciate BTS so much more! Thank you!
Jimin killed it wawooooo🔥🔥🔥🔥
It took me forever to notice that the lights in the floor were lighting up in time with the music! BTS takes so much care in the details. I was blown away even more
They weren't always used to perform on a big stage, they started so......small.....like.....they had nothing 💔and through hard-work and unconditionally love from us,ARMYs,they are now used to perform on a big stage,on a bigger scale but they still remain humble and show back love to ARMYs throughout their music 🥺
That's what keeps BTS×ARMY an unbreakable bond 🤧💜

I love this so much, heart attack! But did you guys see @05:41 that tae's foot accidentally hit hobi's head so hard, JHope mentioned it on vlive if you look at it closely but omg he went right back to dancing like a professional oouuu our sunshine!!💜

Blaze, Nico and AJJ are definitely the best reactors on UA-cam and the most sincere I think. The only bad thing is their videos are too short :/
@@Ophkra I'm actually satisfied with the length of their video because it's just all about their thoughts of the video, the song, the lyrics and the choreography. I'm satisfied in a way that they didn't have to put unnecessary contents on it just to gain attention, they actually didn't need it. The Black Swan was originally a character from the ballet Swan Lake. They were literally on the Swan Lake.
Also, it has a lot of elements from their own story. Jimin’s waterfall and woods (which Yoongi shares the woods), and Taehyung’s lake
