I'm a brazilian myself and I just get so proud every time I hear about that. I loved the choreography when I first saw it, it's so much details that makes everything different and a really smart dance. He is soooo talented and came from my country, what is a great winning.
The start and end pose is even crazier, when you see the twitter post where someone put screenshots of them over each other: they're LITERALLY in the EXACT SAME position. That is insane.
Everything of this dance is flowing, or gliding, or anything that’s reminiscent of swans and water. And ofc puppets and putting on the cape hoodies as a throwback to Fake Love. I love it!
If you just watch JK, he goes hard and precise. Damn! And the wings effect @1:14 is awesome! And the head movements @1:45 is pretty wicked! Love JK’s twirl @2:15! Love Jimin’s move @2:28! The hand/wrist motion at the intro and ending is beautiful to watch!
Mika! Loved seeing all you guys together. You can notice too in Jimin's mini solo moment when he crosses the stage it seems faster and bigger strides. It's because the stage was so small for the live performance on James corden show he had to slow down the timing because he didn't have to travel so far. It's nice when they have room. The formations were so tight during the live that V accidently kicked JHope in the face during one part but he was so professional, not really reacting that nobody noticed til JHope mentioned it during a VLive post.
I love the dance practices! You miss so much when they film the performances and the music videos. The amount of work that they put into their dance is truly inspiring.
It was so nice seeing Mika! I'm so glad you reacted to this as you can truly focus on the intricacies of the dance without the distraction of the lights and camera work. Jimin's foot position several times during the video was amazing. They made this look so effortless when we know it isn't.
black swan choreograph are all came from contemporary dance which considered as one of the most hardest to adapt, the same with ballad as well. it may look "easy" but it's actually not for a fact, even with long dance years experience, you can't simply recreate such masterpiece. the amount of blood, sweat and tears that bts have put in their choreograph is insane that it made the dance looked hella "easy". black swan is just a b-side track yet the choreograph is form with such pure ART. you can literally feel the emotions and the story they were trying to interpret in the dance. it's never easy to express the raw emotions that a song could represent and it takes hours and hours and HOURS with pouring sweat to simply just interpret a story and that very raw emotions from a song. it sucks to see some people to straight up say it that the dance is easy and slap your face with their years of dance practices and called them a group without talent.

Mika!!! I missed your rosy cheeked, sparkling eyed smiles! So happy to see you! AJJ is getting more and more focused every time he sees a dance practice - still and intent... until he get sucked in and he unconsciously pops and rolls and moves his neck with the dance. I’d like to ask him what part of the dance practices he focuses on? Does he shift focus to each person as they take over the middle? Does he focus on the ensemble moves? Does he scan everything until something jumps out as particularly well executed? Does he look to the small details such as hand movements? I’m just very interested to know what draws him in so completely that he leans more and more forward until it gets paused and he surfaces again.
I try my best to scan everything. I usually watch the middle and use my peripheral to see everything else. I can see if someone misses a step or is off on timing, but to be honest, BTS rarely makes mistakes. They are pretty much flawless. Each of them does the choreo with their own flavor. No member dances the same. There are certain moves that stand out to me in each dance they do. I admire their skill level with the execution of each of their moves. There are no wasted movements or space.
I think the only difference between the first and the last formation is the sequence of members shaking their hands to the tune by the string instrument. In the first part, Jimin started the shaking, in the final, he ended it.

Can we just take a minute to relish in the fact that Tae and Jimin had their hair in a sexy ass ponytail!!! This practice has a lot of older bits in it, like the fake love line that Suga raps down, and during fake love where the 7 of them put the hoods and masks on, well towards the end it looks like they motion as they're putting a good and mask over their heads. This practice has a lot of older bits in it, like the fake love line that Suga raps down, and during fake love where the 7 of them put the hoods and masks on, well towards the end it looks like they motion as they're putting a good and mask over their heads. The past becomes the present and future!! Bringing it back
