He got out at the right time… some of his fellow child actors had alcohol and drug problems. it’s disgusting to hear how some of these young actors were abused and manipulated.
He must be one of the most switched on kids ever. And being a child star didn't mess him up, so very rare. He's a successful attorney now. (Ridiculous questions about his weight)
@@quatz1981 Not to mention he played a character named chunk hence the questions about his weight as that is what his character was known for. Time has made people overly sensitive.
Jeff would've been a natural comedian in his prime at this young age. Now, he is a Hollywood Lawyer and still have a sense of humor. It's sad he quit acting, but smart to leave the industry and stayed in the realm.
Hahahahahaha it took me a few seconds to realize that it was sarcasm. 🤭🤣 It's amazing how smart, charismatic and funny that boy was, only 11 years old. Wow. 👏👏👏
He just killed the interviewer. 'What do you eat?' 'Food' foo..cki..ng hilarious, Jeff killed him few times during interview. I wish to see him in more movies, especially when he was a kid. 'Steven found me' hahaha talking about Steven Spielberg being his friend.
Jeff Cohen was a young celebrity guest at 11 years old on the charades game show, Body Language teen week with host (the late) Tom Kennedy. That was years ago before he became an attorney.
This is pre 2000's when American men weren't threatened by the words of others, when they weren't near as cowardly and fake compassion didn't run rampart. Also there were way less fat people so they were singled out more because they looked diffrent, you know because "human nature"
Jeff is a legend of interviews, putting up with a not so good Tony B. I love Tony but he clearly had some adjustments to do, which is ironic since he's interviewing a like 14 year old. Still i love both of these guys, rip Tony. Good job Jeff, helf his own, not only that did it in an awesome way. Guess is it was a different time.
All true - it’s impressive that Jeff was actually 11 here, he comes off as super intelligent for his age. What’s even more impressive is he was probably only 10 while filming the goonies…
Let’s be honest! Are you on cocaine, Adderall or just your natural self in this interview ?Either way, one hell of an interview! Where did you go? You are amazing of an entertainer! It’s never to late to make a come back! You are that talented 💯
What a talented young kid. So funny and held his own. The host's comments and harping on food/weight subject with a young kid was appalling. Jeff handled it like a pro. That would never fly today.
You do realise that him being fat at the time was the Characters main point. No, what is a shame is everybody treats kids like delicate objects today but Jeff did handle like a pro. Todays kids would run to mum to sue and cry fat phobia. Pathetic.
Jeff aged 11 gave a better interview than most adults.
Real
💯💯💯👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
😂 💯
Hysterical and witty. Shame he didn’t do more movies back then.
R.I.P chunk back then.
He got out at the right time… some of his fellow child actors had alcohol and drug problems. it’s disgusting to hear how some of these young actors were abused and manipulated.
What an amazingly smart kid, all his answers are pure gold, and he was only 11 at the time? Crazy! Who can't love this child?
He must be one of the most switched on kids ever. And being a child star didn't mess him up, so very rare. He's a successful attorney now. (Ridiculous questions about his weight)
And that comment about needing his help with some food eating... Classless.
Him being attorney helped Ke Huy Quan back into movies
Him in Everything Everywhere All At Once was amazing
tbf it was the 80s
The charisma is off the chart
Came here after Ke Quan won the Oscar’s. I am so glad we have a video of this. He was so quick witted.
Aww, I just fell in love with him all over again.
I hope you're a girl being mothering.
Chunk, you're gonna stay with Kari now. Cause she loves ya.
What a character.
He is very clever and charismatic.
He was a quick witted kid. Especially around the awful remarks and jokes about his weight.
He's very fit now and a lawyer.
Definitely not Terry#d finest moment :-(
It was the 80's, you could say crap like that then.

It ain’t sad he quit acting. Hollywood is disgusting and they abuse children
“No I’m into salads and aerobics” GODDAMN excellence

no one kills tezza wogan
Lol that was funny AF 😂😂😂 And the Goonies was brilliant..Goonies Never Say Die 👊👊
Sought this out after watching a Minty Video on ''The Goonies''.
This dude is great!
Hehe, me too👍Dude's a lawyer now😅
@@Skelta75 Same :)
Same!
Same here 😁😁
Here, here! I'm here thanks to Minty Comedic Arts!
Still one of the best family movies and Jeff was a big part of the goonies being the best
This is a golden interview, he’s another Ali.
The Kids sharper than the interviewer
Smart, funny, charismatic kid! I bet he's very entertaining in the courtroom now!
This kid was incredible! The Mae West impersonation 👌
He absolutely nailed it!
This was an amazing surprise. What a blessed man.
Wow….this kid was seriously talented
Fun fact: when he went to UC Berkeley and ran for student union president his platform was literally “I played chunk in the goonies”
Wow, what a natural. So quick on his feet. Better than most grown up actors, comedians & improvisation stars put together.
I remember watching this when it first aired..
He looks like he could have been another Robin Williams type ☺
Lucky escape.
He’s funnier.
loved this interview
“No, I’m into salad and aerobics.”
My favourite film ever.
Did he grow up to be Bert Kreischer?
He grew up to be a Lawyer. He was on Josh Adam Meyres "The 500" podcast last year.
No Donald Trump

“Chunk… Captainnnnn Chunk” 💀
Cool kid.
Also, WTF was Wogan doing interrogating a child about his weight on TV
Yeah no kidding. His response was absolutely classic though.
It's rather off colour but arguably Wogan gets credit for asking questions that the home audience want to be asked but wouldn't dare.
Plus he threatened to beat him up at the end of the interview 😂
The Goonies joked about Chunk's weight constantly.
This is pre 2000's when American men weren't threatened by the words of others, when they weren't near as cowardly and fake compassion didn't run rampart. Also there were way less fat people so they were singled out more because they looked diffrent, you know because "human nature"
Wow so much energy!
Jeff should have been a standup comedian👏🏻
Talents👐🏻
In addition to being a lawyer now, he is no longer obese, in fact he is thin, unlike the protagonist Sean Astin, who is quite fat today.
Adorable kid haha
Darn, that kid sure knew how to deal with a nauseating Wogan
Jeff is a great kid.
The Goonies the best movie of the 80s pop-culture.

You mean Terry right?
For your kind information he is now an attorney.
Like people who love making other people happy and laugh :)
One smart kid. 🥇
He was an amazing,, talented, extremely funny and intelligent kid . He must be about 50 and his an attorney now .
Let’s be honest! Are you on cocaine, Adderall or just your natural self in this interview ?Either way, one hell of an interview! Where did you go? You are amazing of an entertainer! It’s never to late to make a come back! You are that talented 💯
M8, wicked 🥰😅
it's never occurred to me that someone below the age of 70 could be called jeff
My little brother back in the 70s was very much like him at that age! He was a Goonie before there was a Goonie! LoL.
I still can’t believe he grew up to play Ardeth Bay in The Mummy
Inspiration for Jonah Hill's Benihana sketch on SNL
wow! what a genial boy!
Wogan was out of his depth with this one
Where is he now did he do another film
He stopped acting and became an entertainment lawyer.
Wouldn't mind a up to date gonnies for kids now a days!
Quinton Tarantino's final film.
Goonies Never Say Die.

Can you upload Paula Abdul on Wogan please?
Wogan was a bit insulting there he should have asked about his wig 🤪
He didn't even do the truffle shuffle 💀
He should have grown up to become Chris Farley, because they are cut from the same pie.
Jeff Cohen:
The Spencer Breslin of the 1980s.
Jeff Cohen is now 50! 😮
Anyone know where I can buy that hat?!
Showing up ol' Terry for his moronic questions. He did brilliantly.
Where can i find that hat!!
11 going on 45.😂😂🤣🤣
Chunk!!! Rocky Road!!! Baby Ruth!!!

By today's standards, he's probably not even considered fat.@@Isclachau
He seems completely different now.
He's more healthy as a 48 year old!!
Very polite Mr instead of first
Do the truffle Shuffle
I just wish attorney Jeff Cohen could have saved Macaulay Culkin from being exploited by Hollywood.
So Chunk wasn't a character. That's actually who he is. lol
(3:20) Jeff, well done.
Terry.. Woe, again.
Why was he being so rude about his weight 😂
The interview was very good, but I think he shouldn't have insisted so much on the food and his overweight, I think the man crossed the line a little.
🍔🌭🍕🍟🤮 love him 🤮🍟🍕🌭🍔
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
How extremely rude to fat shame him the entire interview at the age of 11.
Grow up. Kids then handled that through words. Todays kids cry to mummy.
Horrible to bring up his weight…😢 but he brushed it off like a pro
He lost weight since the goonies they’re going to make a goonies 2

Made Terry Wogan look like an absolute tool. Typical BBC. Picking on his weight. Kids got more decorum than most adults.
ADHD?
No
This has to be one of the most cringe contrived things I've ever seen.
Terry wogan was disgusting in this interview
Only thing disgusting is your attitude.
Who is that terrible host? Obviously forgotten as a jerk,.
