    This interview aired three months before the sad death of Lennard Pearce who played Grandad. Preparations were being made at this time for a new series of Only Fools and Horses which would air in early 1985.

    A friend of the family worked at Thames TV for many years and I used to love hearing about the big stars who worked there. He said David was very shy in real life, he worked on the Doctor In Charge series I think.

    David Jason is the man of a thousand voices (like Mel Blanc and Robin Williams). David Jason is such a versatile actor. Back in 1984, Terry Wogan had no idea, just how big David Jason would go onto become.

    David was associated with 2 Del Boy's. Hockley and Trotter, just the 2nd one was a fictional character he played.

    Terry wouldn't be allowed on TV now simply because of wokery and the 1st 3 letters of his Surname 😂.
