This was a single but only in the UK, OZ and Europe. America was a little late for this release, we were just getting into Can't Get You Out Of My Head so they skipped it here. Yes this is from the Fever album. Kylie could do no wrong after this album had been released. first she released Light Years and was successful again thanks to Spinning Around, The Olympics performs in 2000 and On A Night Like This. A huge come back after Impossible Princess which didn't do well. In America we would get Love At First Sight and Come Into My World. She did perform In Your Eyes on Saturday Night Live tho which is the performance that forced me to check her do some digging on her because until that performance I never heard of her. You gotta listen to Fever in full. It's a bop and a classic for a reason. It's what made America take notice of her 15 years after her first album for a reason. It's not dated at all so I encourage you to listen to it in full but make sure you also listen to the b-sides because all of them are bops too. I was 16 when it was released, 21 years later age 37 and I'm still obsessed with her.

I think it would be more accurate to say this was Kylie in her prime. She was already in the music scene for a while before this stage. This is peak Kylie in my opinion though

The Fever album reignited her career..it's her best selling album in the US..and the main one she's known for..she was in her early 30s when this album came out

- Roger S., Jean Jacques, Saheed & Palesh, Chus & Cheballos, Mr. Bishi, Powder, & The Knuckleheadz remixed this tune into MANY different genres; French House, Dub, Electroclash, Progressive House, Handbag, etc., but....NO ONE cared, because they were STILL playing "Can't Get You...."!!
...THEN, The USA got "Love At First Sight" , with the Scumfrog, Twin Master, Ruff & Jam, & David Guetta mixes....THEN, The Cathy Dennis mashup mix of ,"Can't Get (Blue Monday) Out Of My Head" was released!....as you can see, Kylie RULED the Dance Clubs at that time....STILL, too ..... ; )

I've lived through more than half a century of pop music, and I say that Kylie is the actual queen of pop. Her quality, consistency and longevity are unsurpassed.
Love Kylie, love her music and yes, her quality has been consistent and she does have longevity, but to be THE Queen of Pop you need MUCH MORE than that. You need to be at the top of the game on so many aspects of the industry in a GLOBAL way: Record Sales, Chart Hits, Cultural impact, Record breaking achievements, Record selling Tours in multiple continents, Crossing over to multiple genres of music and making HISTORY! Kylie checks many of these boxes but not all of them, not world wide.
There's only one artist who not only checks all boxes, she creates the boxes. I don't even have to mention her name for anyone who's reading this post, know who I'm talking about, and THAT my friend, is why she is THE ONE AND ONLY QUEEN!!

- ...that Album was REALLY worked on, to give a new, 'fresh' sound, by influence of the past, for something 'Now'....Kylie was VERY keen into giving something NEW, and that's why the Album is so revered; EVERY SONG could have been a single, every track was in the RIGHT place, and every Video was fresh, fun, and all KYLIE....
....I would say it's her BEST Album, but it's her most SUCCESSFUL in giving the Fans what they WANTED....

This was the second single worldwide of her best-selling album ''Fever''. But not US, since the first single and the ''Fever'' album was released later in 2002 (while released in 2001 everywhere) so, the US skipped the released and come already with ''Love At First Sight'' after ''Can't Get You Out Of My Head''.
This album was labeled to be her best moment of her career with the public with this albun.

You definetely have to listen the whole album. Fever is such a masterpiece. My favs from the album besides the singles are Fragile, Love Affair and Burning Up.

I was 12 when that video came out and I liked it so much (I still like it actually 😊) because at the same time there was this one girl in school I had a crush on who reminded me a bit of young Kylie 😀.
Totally agree kylie was trail blazing this era. I just knew you'd recognize it as a fire bop for real because duh!!! I have a lot of Kylie songs I enjoy but this is probably my absolute fave, if not top 2. Perfection all around and that includes the video. They released it as a single around my way (land of maple leaves) so I didn't miss out at all!
