Holy crap it does work. I can't believe I didn't know this. Actually if you don't have tap to confirm the orb will still burst over whoever it is when you tap the original square. Thanks dude
As of Feb 11 2023 can confirm this still works!! iOS. I figured out my issue with it. Once you got your orb floating in space, it’s literally a quick tap on where you orb originated from. I kept long holding and it would fly back, did a quick tap by accident and sure enough, it landed on a dead tile!
As of 11/28/2024 it still works. I don't know if it will ever get patched, and honestly I really like this glitch so I hope it never does. You can get the rush rewards really easily with this method.
I got it to work on merge magic but tapping the beginning square fast enough to stop the energy ball is so so quick. If my screen would show a larger area when it zooms out it would be so much easier. The second tap is almost instantaneous with releasing the positioned orb.
I can confirm that is still works on an iPad. The key is to tap exactly on the same tile as in step 1(where the orb originally stays)…Thank you so much for sharing this strategy! Can’t believe I manage to win the rewards in just 5 hours😮
@@Hotwheels0486 It works exactly as shown in the video, but it does take practice and a lot of patience. It always takes me several (or a bunch of) tries before I can get it. If you let go of your "far away" finger and tap the "original location" finger at the exact same time, it doesn't work. If you miss the original square and tap a nearby square, it doesn't work. Or if you're just too slow tapping the original square, then the life orb will simply come back to the square it started from. I think the person who made the video must have done it A LOT to make it look as easy as it appears in the video. Also, I'm playing on a tablet and I'm sure having the larger screen makes it easier. Good luck!
As of April 2024 this does still work on Android OS. I was able to make a lot of headway in the latest event. The one thing I could not figure out though is, how do you get max level orbs so quickly? I missed the 12 hour reward set by just an hour, though I still managed to get the second tier using your strategy. I tried generating life flower sprouts by having a row of level 2 saplings, but this only got me the level 7 life flowers at most before 12 hours were up.
So many people struggling with this when literally all you have to do is watch the video and follow the instructions. *Extra tips:* 1. World Map. 2. Settings cog wheel (bottom left). 3. Turn ON “Tap Confirm”. *Literally what the video tells you to do:* 1. **Tap and hold** a Level 4 or higher life orb (works on lower levels, but won’t have a tap confirm option). 2. **While still holding** step 1, **tap and hold** elsewhere on screen (past target square). You now have two fingers on the screen. 3. Release step 1 finger **while holding** step 2 finger. 4. Release step 2 finger and **quickly TAP (not hold)** the *exact same square* from step 1. With timing and practice, your life orb is now floating somewhere between the step 1 and step 2 spaces. 5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 until happy with floating orb placement. 6. Tap “Confirm tap?”. As stated in video - only works on touch screen devices. If you’ve previously messed around with your phone’s accessibility settings and turned on Touch Accommodations, you might need to turn them off to not ignore repeat taps, or adjust the tap/hold duration (off by default). Otherwise, just follow the video’s instructions and work on increasing the speed of step 4.

I was watching video without sound, and even saw other people’s comments about “oh, I figured out you need to just tap it, guys!” And was so confused about what that meant… I was practicing in world map levels, and could get what I wanted via long holding, but it felt so futile, I thought there was definitely more to it. having written instructions like this made it so much more clear. I started practicing in a world map level and got it immediately! Thank you, and the creator! I might actually be able to complete an event now
So I would assume this is for the people that only want the points items and not clearing all the dead land. I guess I’m one of the weird ones though that actually enjoy the grind of the game. Does that make me weird because I feel like it does lol but cool though. Seems like something I could pick up with some practice.
Since making this video, I have heard some people claim that this trick doesn’t work on certain Android devices. It 100% works on iOS devices though, and I still do this every event on my iPhone. If you are following the instructions at the start of the video correctly and the life orb never freezes while moving, then you may be playing on a device that can’t use this trick. But if you can get that to happen and are just having trouble aiming the life orbs, then that is something that will just take practice!
@@samtownsend8634 I saw that mentioned as well. I use an Android device, but I will tell you that I did very briefly for a split second see the "confirm tap" appear a few times. This makes me wonder if there is just some small tweak that can be worked out. I am going to keep trying and if I discover something I will let you know.
I’m on iPad, and can stil do it. But it does give problems when the screen is zoomed out to much, or when the first tile (the one with the orb) is next to dead land. So try first in a cleared space, a bit zoomed in!
Had a problem learning this part as well. Can’t get it to stop on map but figured out how to get it to float on air. Hold finger on orb and another finger in air, then release the finger holding orb and it will float where other finger is

Okay so, this is what YOU, the watcher of this video need to know: IT WORKS and STILL works today (August 2024). I was mushing my brain with this video.. then i gave up.. then i said "fk it maybe i'll understand better or I'm missing something" and started to watch again + reading the comments again. SO, this is the explanation: you have a "TILE", we will call it "A" for the example of my explanation. And you have a "TILE" which we will call it "B". This tile "B" is where you drag your orb. You don't need to tap your orb first to see "Confirm Tap?" or any other BS (this guy in the video made me/ us confused). No.. you just put your finger on the orb and drag it to "B", that's it. NEXT STEP: You release your orb to fly back to "A", and as it floats back to "A", you spam with a finger the tile "A". Boom, done, you will see your orb getting stuck somewhere (depending on your momentum of spamming) and it will have "Confirm Tap?" above it. This should, in my opinion work on ANY device, because it doesn't matter the device. It's a principle. You drag your orb to B, release it, and catch it by spamming "A". You don't like the positioning? reset it and try again until satisfied.

neat trick but i like getting all the event star rewards too. you can make wonders from the bushes by buying 2 of the prism flours in the event store and harvest dragon tree leaves, make dragon trees then harvest logs oddly in the event the trees only give logs and ruby fire eggs and occasional coin. had 12 dragons and 10 purple life flours for them to harvest got some lvl 9 orbs real fast. then just left them afk harvest all the event items then returned to merge. though they broke the game and i seem to have lost my data so if they are unable to restore it no chance i am starting over ;(

I don’t play the game too much anymore, but I did just open the app to confirm that this strategy does still work for me. If you are able to stop the orb where you want then you are 90% of the way there. At that point if you don’t tap exactly on the small “Confirm Tap?” button then the orb will fly back to the starting point instead of activating, so that might have been what happened to you. Keep practicing!

So I came across this strategy whilst looking for auto clicker settings, and yes, this is definitely legit and may work 😆with practice. So here is what I found whilst trying to get the hang of things. I had to check in settings and turn Confirm tap to on. No, it did not pop up on my Android device. Checked iPad, and the Confirm Tap is random. By this I mean, I am not seeing it every time I try it, yet to be successful, (BTW) 😂 So I am unable to really zoom out on the iPad, so the orb stops close to my open tiles, and not in the middle, which I think will be the case if I could zoom out. Maybe I am not on point?? Glad that some of you have got it down. I will keep trying. Any tips , would be helpful, from anyone. Thanks.
the benefit of doing this method before doing the rest of the map clearing and finish out the star quests in the event for all the rewards is that you 1. Once you have gotten your level 10 point item you won’t have to worry about them anyone and can delete what you don’t need, like the harvestables. 2. you now can come at both directions for border merging instead of just working your way up, which might open some possibilities for merging and clearing the map faster. 3. Opening the cloud keys ASAP gives you access to point items ofc, but they usually have high level orbs in them that would take a while to make yourself. so even if you still cleared the entire map and got all the pink stars done for your end bonus stuff, it would still work out to being done faster!

Make sure you have Tap Confirm on in the settings. It only works for items at specific levels.

@The Patriot's Kitchen you can find the confirm tap option in the settings, it's off by default so just turn it on.

It does it’s just hard to get the hang on. I just did it a few minutes ago and it took me a lot of times to get it right

I can't figure it out. I think it's hard to understand the finger movement from a video. It's cool though.

I can’t this to work on my iPad. The second I press the first tile it’s back in that place. I wonder if there’s a way to slow down the response?
I’m having a hard time getting this to work on my brand new iPad 17.3.1. I’ve only just discovered it, so it could just be operator error. 😪
To clarify, the orb flies straight back to the original tile, and the confirm tap bubble never appears. Is my device simply ineligible?

I just got it to work! You have to tap on the confirm word, if you click too far down onto the orb it bounces back.
It doesn't stop when i tap the first land again.
