Every brand you buy there is items towering on eachother damaging the ones underneath. The collectibles would've been better off you bought nothing at all. This channel is shit.
Been selling legos for 2 decades. Box damage is a small issue as long as it is in the description. I mark down only very slightly. It's not near as bad as Video Games. Many people are just looking to open it anyway.
As a pretty big Lego collector I could care less about the box condition but I do care about sealed. Not trying to chase down missing pieces
One thing I've noticed in the communities I'm in, most people tend not to buy retired sets on Amazon as they are typically way cheaper on eBay. However I'm not sure how much that applies to overall people because I'm sure not everyone is aware of that
I'm a pretty big Lego Star Wars collector. I keep all my boxes but do open and display built sets. For retired sets, I want to be the first person to build a set since the pieces will be clean, so I will buy damaged box and/or opened box and sealed bags since I am going to open it anyway. It's usually a huge discount compared to sealed or good condition boxes.
City sets are popular due to a lot of the serious LEGO builders creating their own gigantic LEGO city dioramas. LEGO eventually retires sets and many builders aim to make "modular" LEGO buildings by combining two of the same set to create a complete building with after market instructions. Some sets are definitely more desirable than others due to type, rarity and all the other stuff you might expect of anything collectible. Imo, minifigures are where the real money is made in the aftermarket, as that market is much larger than people looking to get boxed sets. I've sold single minifigures for upwards to $30 itself. That all said, there are LEGO investors who buy certain sets and sit on them to sell at a later date, but I think that's a smaller demo.
Good video, and appreciate the honest assessment and transparency around your expectations. Keep hunting!
We actually won that TMNT figure haha, thanks for the giveaway we gave it to our son for Christmas!! It’s kind of eye opening on the Lego stuff I figured it would sell better also. Thanks for the awesome content God bless you all and your families!!!
Al Pal is the type of guy to let you out of class to use the restroom.
Hello from uk i dont know why Chase does not employ someone to open and run a bricklink store , i know quick turnover of money is a must but if you took one of the sets and looked at the part out price you would be amazed at how much difference there is against selling the full set ,i would defo suggest Chase has a look it could be a valuable asset for him
As an avid lego collector it hurts watching this video…. Lots of great sets and you guys have no idea haha. Love the channel still, just jealous
Also, lego collectors are in two main camps. Either they love pristine boxes, or they just want the set. Any box with damage heavily impacts the value of the set because collectors are more likely to pay less for a completed set without box, then they are to pay a premium for a set with a damaged box.
yeah its clear same goes for almost any collectors either Videogames/Consoles & Action Figures, Comics, Graded Trading Cards also if you have two Rare Cards the one which is Graded will def. get Sold earlier & for much more than the Ungraded, sadly.
As an aside, most of these Lego were discounted which means they had a higher production than demand. While Lego can be great to resell, not all Lego fits the category that I would buy and sell in because it can be a slower item to move. Fun video though and you will end up making money it just won't be fast. Good luck as always.
Not everyone cares about boxes and for non licensed more modern sets it won't bother most people. Any thing more collectable like franchises and nostalgic Lego themes like the adventures sets, castle, pirates , and space collectors will be more picky if they want to display the nostalgic box or keep it sealed.
Nice Super Mario World sign there on the shelf! I heard the guy that traded to you is pretty awesome 😂
This man is VERSATILE
Have a blessed week man of God

What'd you guys do with the "New Store"? ( $10 started ANOTHER store).
Thank you for your EXCELLENT CONTENT, Ron.
Do you guys leave the price tags on ?
Alex is so professional and on point with working for you. I actually really like watching him.
Not chase losing money damn homie
For the lego chess set you can buy a replacement lgeo tile
Castle sets are always good money. Star Wars is hot but depends on the set some are much harder to find than others.
Another great video!
On Lego box condition, I care more about condition than opened or not. I want to display the boxes and have them look nice. I'm not thinking about long term investment value.
Crazy collection
I want that Silver Tempest and the Fusion Strike Stands!
More of us Lego collectors build and then keep the opened box mint
Dealing with Lego I see, Bricklink you must know 🐢
When I grow up I want to be like Chase. (The joke is I'm older than him)
When I grow up I want to be like Matt (the joke is that I am Matt)
i want that mudkip plush
NOW
as you said, you are trying to have a lot of different areas in what you sell. got to try;
Should of a build off with employees on open sets
If you collect or invest people want nice mint box. If you build as a AFOL than you just buy a lego set with damaged box and spend less money.
what is that ebay scanner u have?
Amazon is horrible with my Lego boxes. Prefer to be the one to control the shipping so lean eBay but have started doing Fulfilled by Merchant more often.
❤️❤️
What’s your Whatnot name and what time is your show tonight? Thanks
So... did he just snipe his own employee's score on the 10 dollar challenge?
Hit me up... I have another way to sell that Lego BUYERS will want
Newbie question here: what does BOLO stand for?
Be On the Look Out for

Whats bolo? They keep mentioning it
Be on the look out

hello
Listen: as God does say we have it good. Every second is important. It is very important that you understand.
I dont know why every Reseller or Collector gotta look up Freakin Ebay Prices rather do your own Research in more Detail & out of Ebay. Because the Asking Price what a Dude Wants, & the Real Price which is actually worth it are Two different Pair of Shoes. I Sell also on Ebay & i dont Agree with most Prices there, the ones who should be Cheaper are often expensive & Vice Versa. So what if a Dude is wrong with his Price and you decide to Follow his Offer & put up the same Price!? im just askin!?
Why would you post it cheaper and lose profits, or post higher and sit on it forever?
@@osrsnoob9416 🤣thats exactly the Point!!! Or Question!
@@alltimeklazzikz i meant if they did it your way, that would happen. They're selling on eBay, so they would go with current ebay prices. Unless I'm missing something lol :)
@@osrsnoob9416 yeah we all understand that, but the Question is "what are the Real Prices" ... for Instance ive see often that even in Big Auctions stuff gets sold for much more than its actually worth & vice versa.... thats my Problem, & then you gotta argue with Customers like i often do, whys the asking price so high ????did You get it ???
@@alltimeklazzikz there is no "real price" its whatever the audience on that specific platform are willing to pay. Example: you can't ask ebay prices if your selling on Facebook marketplace.
This is the wrong part of the year for sealed Lego. It sells best for me April-may when tax returns come in
....now...sell them.
I never understood the appeal of lego. It’s ok I guess but I don’t get how its so popular. I’m more interested in that huge stack of lightning collection power rangers in the back.
Please stop calling them Legos. The plural of Lego is Lego.
Lost all respect for you guys at "LEGOS"😂. Lego never Legos
Be honest… did you ever say it as “legos” before the internet told you otherwise ? If not, congratulations .. but I think most people would say legos at one point or another in life :)
@@catrpcrew Nope, its an American thing 😀
