I've watched your videos. I know I need to join a community to motivate myself, it's going to take accountability and tips to fuel my drive to start taking it seriously and getting this stuff rolling. My question: I sell video games as ~40% of my inventory and the other is hodge podge from lockers. Would your community and the tips be useful in my entire eBay business or just specifically to video games?
eBay has directly stated that listing daily does not affect the algorithm. It is just that you are making more listings, therefore selling more stuff. Where are you getting this information from? The bottom line is-you need to sell good stuff. If I don’t list anything for 3 weeks, and I list 3 Gucci purses for decent prices on the 22nd day, all 3 will sell within 24 hours. You just need to have what people want at the right time.
And for those saying ebay has been slow: All sales have been slow. Inflation has been a mother trucker, and the dollar has lost much value, making it harder to justify unnecessary spending. Long gone are the days of cracking 12 egg whites into a pan for survival. Prices are up across the board, with the value of dollar doing nothing but decreasing, and people not making enough. We’re in a crisis as a nation.
100% correct you’ll get more sales listing 60 items a week doing 10 each day opposed to doing 100 listings in 1 day out of the week that’s #1 rule for me
Being consistent listening items daily on eBay definitely is the way I have doing for years I will set a listing goal for the month depending on inventory 5 to 20 items daily this will keep your selling status up and reputable on eBay great videos guys keep them coming
It can take up to 90 days for a eBay listing to go up on google so stop and relist strategy has to take that into account if your impressions are from within eBay or from outside ebay
At the end of the day, more sales is just about consistently listing desirable items + serving the customer as quick as possible (shipping, messages, offers). Good work
Hey Chase, while what you say is true, and there is a lot of stuff to optimize ebay sales, please dont forget that ebay has a lot of problems right now in regard to their algorithm. Many ppl claim this. Lots of senseless updates and always working on something which destroys the algorithm. What people can do is call ebay, they can synchronise your account, and eventually after it or after 2 or 3 days it will pick up again. I wish ebay went back to the roots and focused more on their Seller, not on the costumer. Wish you all the best.
listing daily and end and sell similar is something i've been doing. for the 1st time ever i just sent out offers (about 100 items). let's see what happens...
Have you done any research on creating your own website to sell product? Via a shopping cart; Shopify etc. You would be able to generate sales with no fees, minus the monthly cost of the website which can be as low as $30 a month and credit card/paypal fees. I know of companies that list product on eBay and their website. When the product sells on their website, it gets removed from ebay.
Sort of. There's always going to be fees, even with sales using platforms you mentioned. I wouldn't use it to sell items that I would list on eBay. I'd rather have millions of potential buyers then a few thousand that somehow manage to find the site naturally
Maybe put anything you can find of Mahomes, Burrow, Brady or Hurts stuff on there. This is Super Bowel season. I see thousands of Super Bowl Bud Light advertisement stands coming though work.
By implementing your 1st. suggestion (Send out offers) I already generated 2 sales within 20 minutes of the offers going out!! Do I need to pay you guys a commission on that?! LOL!! Thanks!!
Idk if this will work with the stripped/corroded Pokemon Blue cart, but if you put a thin piece of cloth or other material between the screw and the screwdriver, the extra material might grip the screw tight enough to unscrew it.
What do I do if I don't have the merchandise to list something everyday? I just started a few months back. My finances are very limited right now because I am in the process of paying off a lot of debt. But I can say when I was listing stuff everyday my sales were way better. Love you guy's. You're awesome. Stay blessed y'all
I respect your hustle with paying off debt! Keep it up. As far as getting inventory goes, I would just start with whatever cash you have, get what you can as far as inventory goes, and work your way up at the speed of cash as you go. Work to get to one a day, then work your way up to 2, then 3 and beyond
@@catrpcrew and this is why I love you guy's. Stay blessed y'all. I was thinking of flea markets with extra cash until I get really going since yard sales are pretty much done with where I live.
Look around your home, you would be surprised at what you don't need but will make a few dollars, tell a few friends what you're doing, they will probably have items for you to sell
I personally think the fact that ebay even works this way is a bunch of BS.. but thats my opinion..it was so much better back in the day ..but isnt most things.

The eBay algorithm is definitely a thing I’ve seen. 10 listings a day works! Quick question though, does anyone know if Amazon FBA has a similar algorithm? Do you have to consistently send your inventory in to bump up sales, or is that more to do with sales rank and the price you list at?
Amazon does not have an algorithm that we know of. Though they do also reward consistent sales by increasing storage limits and increasing the likelihood for buy box placement
Issue is it eats at ur monthly free listings allowed. so unless ur a small time reseller and not listing 200+ items that short is not necessary. I do the old 30 days and decide I wanna end these listings and redo them. Sometimes I let them sit for 60/90 days before I end them. Some items just require waiting.
I keep seeing my ebay listings disappearing. Anyone knows how to prevent this from happening or how long the items are listed before ebay removes them? I've hired a VA and I will need to pay more attention now since I'll be paying for every listing they do.
