  • In August of 2019 I purchased a LEGO haul valued at over $50,000 at an auction. We sold all the major sets in this haul in just about a year and a half. In this video we will let you know the purchase price of all the major sets in the haul as well as what each set sold for in the haul. This will give you an idea of how much profit was actually made on each set and hopefully help give you some insight into your future LEGO investing.

      Good question! Total expenses on this portion of the haul (larger sealed sets) was right around $12k and then profit was right around 9k. Used sets/smaller sets/sets I kept for my collection and all piece bulk lots not included.

      @TheBrickQuest  Рік тому +1

      So I bubble wrap heavily each sealed set. I then put it in a solid shipping box and make sure all air gaps are filled with shipping bubble and/or shipping paper. I want to make sure the set doesn’t move around in the box when shipping. Don’t pack it too tight, but make sure it’s snug. Then I put multiple fragile stickers on the outside of the box for the shipper. This has worked well for me so far. Nothing is perfect but do the best you can with those expensive sets.

    • @TheBrickQuest

      There is always a risk. If you can find a local seller great, but if not Ebay and bricklink are your best bet. You will have a much wider audience. Hope this helps Ernestso.
