Before, it was straightforward with the A2 (opened for the Queen's Jubilee anniversary in 1977) to London, it's only since the early 1990's and the M20 joining the Channel Tunnel that things radically changed. The traffic from Continental Europe now practically all routed via the seafront dividing the City into 2....
