Purchased my very first Tesla 3 2024 model today. CANNOT wait for delivery. Car makers have had 20 years to develop their technology to this level, but have all been in cahoots releasing trickle upgrades, and have failed. Now they are in full panic mode to catch up to Tesla. No sympathy, whatsoever. GO ELON!
Congrats 🎉🎉🎉 you are going to love it!!! I pick up my reengineered M3 LR stealth grey black interior on Monday !! My first EV. I absolutely love it. It is ridiculously fast, comfortable, quiet. Great car and tech is amazing. Phoenix AZ
@@WarpedTrekkerthe audacity to call their interiors generic when Tesla literally has nothing but an iPad. You’re joking right? Toyota isn’t in the EV game they are producing hybrids. Because hybrids are better than electric and consumers are more likely to keep and buy. A lot of ev owners has switched back to gas.
Wired charging efficiency is about 95%. Wireless charging efficiency is about 80%. So each time you fill up a cybertruck wirelessly with 100 kwh of electricity, poof there goes an extra 15 kwh of electricity compared to wired charging. Over the course of 1,000 battery cycles. That’s 15,000 kwh wasted. At my local electricity rate, that is $3,150 then add in an extra $2,000 for wireless charging hardware and you’ve wasted $5,000. Is it worth $5,000 to be able to wireless charge at home? Not for me.
Exactly. The 15 seconds it takes to plug/unplug at home isn’t any issue. Public chargers are vulnerable to vandalism and copper thieves so inground wireless inductors make sense so long as they don’t have to mechanically raise up to get close to the receiver which would introduce all sorts of grit and corrosion problems.
Sorry Tesla vision to me does not work well at all. At night it doesn’t work well or when raining. Receive many many pillars camera having poor visibility. I went from ultra sensor Tesla to Tesla vision only and ultra sensor is a lot better Went from Tesla model y 2021 to 2024 Tesla model 3
@@edwardhackett-jones8126 I’m glad your experience is well. But I have 2 tesla now with vision and every time I back into my incline driveway with both cars at the bottom of the driveway Tesla vision sees the bottom of the driveway as something the car will hit and asks us to stop and then when in the garage parking assist gets degraded even though there is a dedicated light on. My 2021 Tesla never had that problem. I also live in an area with no street lights on roads in the woods and when it is raining cameras are degraded. 2021 Tesla with sensors never had that problem. I even tested the Tesla vision and my son toy which is approximately 2 ft tall both Tesla vision did not recognize but sensors did recognize. Now imagine that was a child or your dog
@@lindam.1502 well, Autopark is part of the Enhanced Autopilot, so it would need to be added back to the included self-driving features for it to go out to everyone. I doubt they'll do that. With Enhanced Autopilot still at $6k, I doubt they'll be removing any features. We'll see! I'd love it to come back to all Teslas, it would be a fun party trick.
What is the use-case for auto-park? It seems like a very narrow one and more of a gimmick than something most drivers are anything about. The same for wireless charging, but perhaps to a lesser extent. For home charging I do not see wireless charging being a thing, unless you are into making your energy footprint larger (vis-à-vis the inefficiencies of wireless charging and the relatively large magnitude of EV charging as a percentage of home energy needs)
Hi, Ryan, thanks for the great vids, I love them. I would like more info on Tesla's Energy sector. I'm an investor and I gather the Tesla energy component of their business is generating roughly equal amounts of revenue? Is that true? Amazing if so, and I'd love to have a segment here and there that exclusively or mostly deals with how that has happened and where that's going. Hopefully to help stabilize the US energy grid. . .
Auto parking: there’s a difference between having it and it being of any use. My MS with FSD will park accurately but so glacially and with much wheel juggling and long pauses that it’s effectively useless in anything but a deserted parking lot with no other vehicles to stir into road rage. Given the speed of computational I can’t see what is the issue making the system so poor.
Produced vehicles not equal to sold vehicles. Here in Germany we are getting a heavy discount and 0% financing until the end of q1 to get them moving out of the lot. Not that many Y's on the streets either.

Var breaks for SO many things not needed, accelerating intermittent 10 Mph above speed limit on CC alone where it should never be able to change speed above selected. CC/AP still cant keep speed after Tesla ruined the car by disabling the radar in my property meaning below 500 Yards visibility on an empty straight road the car intermittent shows "Reduced speed due to limited visibility" and with 300 yards visibility it will do a max. of 4 (Four!) Elon makes all kinds of promises he rarely keeps. He sells hopium and does it very well. Sells a truck that you pay 20k extra that had features the truck doesn't even ship with and no realistic date in sight. Lol
You do understand that the 20k premium on the truck is a means of controlling demand while they dial in the production and reach a degree of scale? You’re not obliged to buy one at the introductory price. You’re welcome to wait until they’re pumping them out at speed and pay a lower price. This is how this works! Without price adjustments they’d be committed to selling at least a million from day one and would take five years to produce them. Who wants to wait years (on top of the initial wait we’ve already had for production to starts)?
If you expected the Cybertruck to be the same price as announced in 2019 now after 4 1/2 years later and the high inflation of the last 2 years then you are seriously delusional. Can you name anything that is the same price now as in 2019?

The real question: can our grid afford all that energy wasted? In the long term that kind of thing would be unbelievably damaging to our energy usage.
If you have a garage this doesn’t make sense. It might make more sense for apartments or condos because it should be more durable.
