nice video. I'm in modern era too after 1.1 years of playing, im gonna stay here for a while as im growing The Arc, had enough resources and money thow i would love more space. Keep up the good work!
He really should have pointed out that CF goods are the way to go with this here and that you don't need old goods if you use TF's CF loops and event buildings. 1: level arc 2: level Cheateu
I personally have all 5 goods production GBs (in ME lvl 6-7 is more than enough) to produce all CA goods and never build any required goods buildings. You crossed Foberge shops but upgraded to ME they produce more than any current era supply building and does not require 2x2 road.
Problem is, you have to build 2 lane/motorways for the newer buildings, as you can only build them on those types of streets! Running out of space, is one of the bad things about it, another is building enough supplies/residential/coin getting/happiness to keep you heading in the right direction! Bigger buildings, less space, it drives you crazy figuring out where to place things!
I have 5 great buildings and up to this stage have been great for goods. Now I am in the modern era they have gone back to producing goods from a previous era, so now I have heaps. Do I need to go back to buying factory`s like cement.?
MCKerrnel I am currently translating all province fights for Bronze Age, Iron Age, and Early Middle Ages. Then I translate such overviews for High Middle Ages and above. A bit later a number of videos will come demonstrating a power start. I think this will be very helpful.
Can I get some feed back on which GB I should focus to upgrade, from those I have built up? As of today, I'm in modern Era and have following GBs on following levela: -statue of Zeus (lv 10) -Cathedral of Aachen (lv 8) -the Arc (lv 7) -oracle of Delphi (lv 7) -castel del monte (lv 6) -the Kraken (lv 5) -alcatraz (lv 5) -innovation tower (lv 4) Guild helped me get some of the future GBs (kraken)
With these great building I assume that you are not a pure salesperson. For fighters I higly recommend: Bring Cathedral of Aachen and Castel del Monte to level 10. This should have the highest priority. I do not recommend to build the Kraken before these 3 (incl. Zeus) are on level 10. As you have it already, do not invest more in it before they reached level 10. Afterwards upgrade your Innovation Tower as much as needed to be able to demolish all residential buildings. This brings space and you will always need space. Therefore I think this is 2nd priority. Forget Oracle of Delphi. Do not invest more in it. Keep it as it is. Upgrade Alcatraz only if GvG is important for you. In all other cases upgrading Alcatraz still makes sense, but does not have a high priority. And then Arc is significant topic. If you have 3 supporters who are able to use their 90% Arc bonus to your advantage, you can think about upgrading your Arc to level 60 to 80. If you don't have such sponsors, bring it to level 10 after completing the goals mentioned above. Upgrading Kraken or constructing more Great Buildings (e g Cape canaveral) should happen afterwards.
@@FoEhints you're right, I'm mostly trading my way through encounters, but I like to have military to back it up if piece negotions fail. If you check my town (English server, world Dinegu, player Ajdovscina) you'll see I allready don't have any residential buildings from my or previous Era. Which is why I needed to build innovation tower. Also, I swear that Cathedral levels up on its own. Put it in your guild's "GBs near leveling" folder, and it fills up faster then a cup of water under waterfall.
love your videos! are very useful in the most cases!. also, from where did you get the picture in the second 10 of the video? i want to find those realistic wallpapers/pictures of forge of empires but i was never able to find one :(

18m is a great stock for that age. But you can never have enough. As long as other things are not suffering from it, continue to produce. But it is definitely enough to advance
I'm running a Great Building-free world and have been wondering how the later ages will be. Bad. They sound bad without an Alcatraz boosting happiness to absurd levels.
It is nice that the Alcatraz provides some happiness. But you need the Alcatraz for the units it produces every day. Happiness you can easily get enough through many other buildings, normal cultural buildings and event buildings. I see problems regarding space and fighting bonuses: without a great building like an Innovation Tower your city will be very limited. And without figthing bonusses you need many more goods for negotiations. And producing all these goods without related great buildings (Lighthouse, RAH) is possible, but much more difficult.
FoEhints I'm going to try my best. It's a less serious world where producing a lot of goods is pretty much the goal. Fighting won't be a thing at all. I'm not worried about attack GBs or Alcatraz.
A year ago, I would have answered immediately: YES! Today this building is still the same. But players got so many ebent buildings. Often you receive enough goods and supplies from event buildings. If so, you don't need the RAH. But if you are short on unrefined goods the RAH is a good decision, especially if you don't have other great buildings for that (e g Lighthouse of Alexandria).
I did it already, but still have to translate these videos. I am taking my annual leave until mid of January. Afterwards I will work on more translations

Great video! Thank you:) I think the further we move up the era ladder the more lucrative for neighbours to attack each other but I can be wrong.
The longer you play the better your defenses will be making the plunderer‘s life much harder
2 spearmen will be best defense :D

I am half way through the progressive era sitting on 18m supplies. Should I continue to stockpile or am I good?
18m is a great stock for that age. But you can never have enough. As long as other things are not suffering from it, continue to produce. But it is definitely enough to advance
20M would leave you with over 15M to do unbirthday quests for goods and at least 1,000 of each CA-PE good would also be a solid foothold.

The background music is TO LOUD! You have a strong accent and it is hard to hear you clearly because of the music.
The music is too Laos. It makes it hard to hear clearly
It is a very old video. I hope newer videos are more comfortable.
Can u please make one for industrial Era?

If you are making goods from goods buildings, you are doing it wrong.. CF em with looping PE great buildings yo
Could hardly hear the oration for the music!
1:00 die moderne 💀☠️
I can hardly make out what you are saying because of that stupid music
