The video title picture shows an Artist Series Jeff Beck strat but the review is made with a Custom Shop Jeff Beck strat which costs at least double. This should have been made clear. It’s easy to see, the Artist Series has Jeff’s signature on the front of the headstock, the Custom Shop has it on the rear of the headstock alongside the CS logo. It also has a different neck plate. I spoke with a Fender customer service rep about the differences and he informed me the neck profile is different. Also, the Artist has Fender locking tuners while the CS has Sperzels. And the Artist has matt saddles vs shiny saddles on the CS. The setup as delivered is more precise on the CS. Good video but one should know exactly what they are seeing and potentially buying. I bought the Artist Series as I believe it’s a hugely diminishing return past a certain price. My guitar had issues at first but once it had a setup by a very good luthier it was perfect and a delight to play. It has become my fave electric guitar ahead of some very nice Ibanez.
@@ereimul1444 thanks for your kind words. Yes this is a class guitar or if you’d like a similar guitar with out the signature affiliation try a fender Strat plus. They’re killer 🤟
They say tone is coming from the fingers.... Jeff gave us the proof, iff it was in a Tele, strat or Les paul, he had the same tone in seconds by switching one for another! ♨️

Was there any free play in the tremolo arm? The tremolo arm stayed in place when not used…
@@nevenlisica I screwed tightly in as that’s how I prefer it set up. You can loosen it if you’d prefer it to move. Thanks for watching
I owned one of the early ones... it was alive, 🎵r0ck0n 🎵
