I really love to achieve my post and one brand that wanted to work with me said I need to post often
gen z here! the reason me and my friends tend to delete our posts often is because we are insecure with the aesthetic! i archived one of my fav pics because i thought my account was aesthetically inconsistent. my niche is alternative fashion/makeup! but my page felt unpleasant to look at (to me) because it was super colorful. I started editing my posts to have a strong vignette and a thick black border and decided to do that for all of my posts.
I did actually put all of my older posts into highlights on my profile as "makeup" and "outfits" so i still have them on my page, but u need to click there.
I'm struggling to pick between unarchiving those old photos (so i have a better chance of brands liking my profile) and having an ugly profile- or keep posting with this format for a few more months before I start doing more "influencer-y" things like seeking brands.
I have two questions. What exactly is an example of a grid posting pattern ? And how long does it take for your insights to start working?

I’m 30 but I have friends and relatives in that age range:
They don’t think in terms of branding and marketing, from their perspective it’s their personal yet “public persona” which they view as the same thing because they don’t understand the significance, the implications of the social media posts.

I believe the microinfluencers are the future but I have no idea what to value these skills at...what is industry standard or does it just depend on your following/engagement, etc. ???
Yes it does! I break down rough costs for influencers based on follower count, and provide guidance on which end of the scale you should be charging (based on things like your engagement etc). I also share guidance on when to increase you price and by how much! 🖤

also i found an influencer agencies that i would love to meet with but they ask about what brands i’ve worked with and what my brand is, when do i contact an agency to work with? i feel like im not ready to meet with anyone of them
Honestly same, I seriously have no clue why so many people for no reason delete their posts? But what I do know is that they have some kind of theory behind it, it's not completely blatant, but honestly most of those people aren't content-creater/influence nor are they aspiring to be, so yeah...
I have 1k+ on my personal acct and am thinking to switch it up and post travel content with my fiancé and build a brand around that. I’d have to edit my photos to make them match the theme of my grid but I’m already posting my own travels and now it would go from me to us and from personal to biz. Would you say this is alright to do? Or should I make a separate acct and restart? I just don’t like the idea of restarting 😅

Found your channel a few days ago and I've almost watched everything lmao but I love your content and I've finally decided to launch my channel in 2022 (wanted to this month but electricity said no and we've had a month long electricity fault cause why not) and my online business. I’m a frequent deleted because I’m just starting out in trying to build myself and sometimes the quality of my work improves and I feel like my old ones are not as good. I want to have consistent good quality content and become more organized in my niche lol
I totally get that! Try to avoid deleting a huge amount at one time, give yourself to breathing space to build up a bank of content before deleting again. You may already do this, if so - ignore me haha! ❤️

You mentioned a marketing degree, do you find it helped you understand social media?
Yay, i'm so glad! I gained my marketing degree back in 2015, so whilst social media was a thing, the business side wasn't developed enough to be included in my curriculum. I found that my understanding of social media mainly came through work experience, running my own brands etc. My marketing degree gave me a solid understanding of how different marketing channels work together to form an impactful campaign, this has proved super useful when working with brands as I can see the bigger picture of their marketing activity :)
I have the answer to your question about why we delete our posts. Most of us don’t delete posts we achieve them. We post in order to grow our account gain followers draw new people to our page. When the post lasts for 3 weeks it becomes old and reduces engagement so we just achieve them
Thanks so much for sharing! Keeping older photos on your account won’t hurt your growth, nor will it impact how well you new posts perform. Without a decent bank in content in your page, you may lose potential followers and brand partners!
