You have two types of Sonic fans: The True Sonic fans and the Sonic “Fans” True Sonic Fans don’t immediately bash on a new Sonic game until more of the game is seen and not complaining about the series. They love the majority of the series and support it. And if not, they still at least give the hedgehog some heart. The Sonic “Fans”, I believe, don’t even care for the series. They just bash on everything Sonic wise and only say the same complaints like “Sonic Forces is bad”. Sure, Forces got stale, but at least don’t keep bringing it up. It wasn’t that bad, it just missed its true potential. And they try to compare every other game to it, bringing up the same old topics like Sonic 06 and they just praise the HELL out of Sonic Adventure 2. I love SA2, but you can’t just keep praising it and telling SEGA to remaster it or make a sequel (as cool as it may seem). This “Sonic Cycle” is not the games, it’s the people who hate on it for a simple announcement that doesn’t even show much. At this time, it now has a demo for game conventions. People now have higher hopes for the game because they actually played it. Well, I don't think Sonic fans understand that development has multiple stages. I mean from my outlook and knowledge from a lot of opinions on how development of a game actually works, there a different stage between coding and the story direction. The story director creates the story and what should the story follow with, the coding side is the people that actually create the mechanics and what content will be in the game. Then there's also the CGI animators and just model animators. Theres alot of shit that goes into making a game so bugs are very much expected from a huge team. Thats the difference between a mod that 1 guy makes between a entire team full of coders. People have different coding skills + code could go wrong + another person's code could collide with the person you want to connect your code with like THIS SHIT IS NOT EASY and getting shitty criticism like "Don't screw up like you did with forces and 06" doesn't exactly help anyone and YES I DID LIKE 06 forces NOW I realise has some pretty boring level designs but yeah. Anyways, don't expect this game to get high scores cause at this rate with the negativity people will just shun it without even looking at the good stuff, with could be a lot I mean it's a overworld sonic game.

I honestly don’t understand why people are only NOW complaining about these specific things in frontiers: 1. Reusing assets is literally a normal thing to do. I don’t understand?? 2. We’ve had the “forces model” ever since lost world (Which came out in like 2014 by the way) and people literally ONLY complain about it because they redesigned him slightly (different blue, altered proportions, and shorter spikes) and it makes no sense whatsoever. Yeah, the model COULD be better, but it’s whatever, I honestly don’t care what sonic looks like as long as it doesn’t look terrible. 3. When people go and say “no momentum, game is mid” when sonic games haven’t even HAD “momentum” in FOREVER? It’s insane. I know there are actually kinda bad things about sonic frontiers, (some of the animations, weird collision) and i see that and agree they should be fixed but it just feels like mindless hate at this point. I want a new gameplay style that is different than the boost gameplay at least for most of the game because the boost has overstayed it’s welcome in my opinion. I never played Forces but, I played Sonic Unleashed and I love unleashed. It’s so epic and fun but, I would love a new gameplay style if done right.

Apparently, they have so much Forces PTSD that they were scared Frontiers was going to suck because it had the same models (the early build, that is)
