If your team ints, you aren’t likely carrying on MF, because enemy team will spike faster and you have no hard CC to self peel, or execute damage to stay relevant even if you’re behind items. The champ I would disagree with is Kai’Sa, because of her AP build now being able to crit on her W/passive with shadowflame, which strongly negates earlier nerfs to her initial burst (though her passive execute was pretty powerfully buffed, you just had to land 2 more W’s to kill from full hp). But even then I wouldn’t put her at broken, likely high decent or low very good on his tier list. Last note on the original point though, you CAN carry games on any champ, but if and when that happens, think back and be honest with yourself: Did you win solely off your own playmaking, or did you more-so take advantage of opponent misplays and lack of focus on your teams wincon in fights (i.e: did they try to stop MF ult? Or were they stupid and try to fight through it?). There is no shame in capitalizing on enemy mistakes, but if you’re trying to rate champions on their ability to play, being able to make their own opportunities is the core factor.
Varus adaptability also pretty insane, he goes very well with new and change items AD, Crit, On-hit, Lethality, AP. He can change play style according to opponent, which mean he has no counter play (if you can play him in all different way)
DL forgot Kahrtus and swain bot. tho the pickrate might be low, swain does SUPER well with new items I always go Lost chapter into rylias into Malignance which is insane on swain, into new liandris into zhonyas youre sucha unit as swain its crazy (playing it rn in d3 to master)
Aphelios got nerfed again at the start of 2024. He can only get a total of 27 AD from his Q. I would say currently he is Decent. His numbers are just really low atm.

I feel like the logic you use for twitch is pretty similar to why jinx feels pretty good. She does not have as much individual agency, but has such multikillpotential or can get easy kills with ult sometimes and start the snowball if you started behind. Twitch is stronger in mid game than jinx though probably
twitch has stealth and jinx doesn't. That means the opponent has to spend gold on wards for twitch vs just look at map for jinx. In soloq, people suck at looking at map and almost never buy wards so twitch pretty much just need to not feed and win easily
Thanks DL. I climbed last month of s13 from low gold to emerald with seraphine adc, and half the times i would get flamed and reported for "troll pick". I had 15 wins in a row with her at some point, still "troll pick pls report". I didnt play her in s14 cuz i didnt know if she would be strong or weak with the new items, but now that i know again, im back and so far i've had 3 times people complain about sera adc (2 were from pre lobby and they dodged).
The MF take I don't agree with. She has a 53% winrate in emerald and up. That means she is strong enough for the average player to just randomly pick her up and do fine on. Not to mention you can blind pick MF and play her with any support. His whole basis being you have to stand still when ulting. Seems like a poor hill to die on to me. If a champ can get to you while ulting chances are you should have waited to ult anyway if there is a threat that dangerous.

kalista is very hard to play well. she gets animation locked, so uh.. you jump your stuck in that direction telegraph movements.. favorite of scripters.
MF is absolutely not a free loss. She is at the very least weak or decent. She does struggle with random average supports but if she makes it to two items and level 11 she automatically comes back into the game. She is still a peg below Varus and Jhin over self-peel and range but she does have similar burst and DPS as them, having it worse doesn't automatically make her free loss. It honestly feels like DL just hates the champion for no good reason.
Mf is free lose if you playing against humans that practice the game and don't play on autopilot like 98% of the players base me include. When I don't auto pilto for 1 game against a mf it's unplayable for them . The only time if lost to a mf is support gap with a maokai abusing the new map changes and ulting from the random gap on blue side bot wall.
Even as a rengar player, Kai sa is still a top ban for me any time her ap build is popular. Super tanky, super mobile, low cooldowns, and crazy damage.

I think Xayah is Weak. Losing Galefore removed so much of her agency so she's far more reactive now than she was last season. This makes her a pretty bad solo queue pick. Her one saving grace is that she's resistant to the 1shot champoins via her ult.
You’re kinda high lol. Mf rose incredibly hard in soloqueue. Great below gm/chall due to the lack of focus on mechanics so players can dedicate their focus to other parts of the game. Vayne is at least mid tier, tough lane, can 1v9. Cait is kinda weak, Samira is pretty good for soloqueue might struggle in gm/chall. Ashe’s at LEAST decent, especially with your thought process of having cc/engage being top tier. Lucian is strong.
We're moved on from beating a dead horse to dining upon the Horse Steaks, here. However, Miss Fortune is a monstrously strong Champion at the current moment. She demolishes any team that doesn't have the tools to lock her down, meaning that unless you draft full dive, she will just choose to win the game.
so far I´ve reached several games with mega fed aphelios.. not sure how he ranks high, his scaling fucking suuuucks. Against any other ADC you have to finish the game fairly quick cus he´s just not putting out the dmg regardless of what you build. 100%
all my losses with kalista were never even close games because someone(ppl) fed early or the support has the mechanical skill of a sloth with 1 lobe of a brain. Even worse junglers making terrible ganks and dieing. I only win games with Kalista if at least 1 other person actually knows how to play the game or the enemy team is just somehow worse than my team. I've been playing actual supports A LOT because it feels like the only role where my game knowledge actually affects the game and my utility alone can carry the game because any other support cannot play the game in low elo. Even playing enemy supports as ADC its a shame seeing how bad they are but even worse seeing your support is WORSE somehow. Less stress too when supports arent actually supposed to 1v9 the game essentially and you end up carrying the game like an underdog #bardmain
I think Aphelios is weak in solo queue right now. Galeforce was removed which was the only escape item he had. In solo queue, people don't peel and give space for you like in competitive. Is very hard to survive with champs that jump on him. He also needs 2-3 item timing in order to deal decent damage. In pro though, I think he is a very good DPS adc if he has the space to deal damage.
MF is criminally low and aphelios pretty terrible in solo q. If youre emerald and below she is broken, she will single handedly win even teamfights and destroy your lane with her "w" and ult alone. No one is capable of playing these one shot assassins well enough to hold back theyre abilities or get a good flank to one shot you. This is also based on most of his games being in Champ Queue which is like competitive lite and in super high MMR.

Critlyn is so boring, sure she has long range autos but losing the damage on Q and R sucks, the animations are disproportionate, a full power Q should feel like a headshot crit, and a squishy should never be able to tank an ult with >50% hp, lethality Caitlyn can 100-0 squishies that try and intercept her ult.
Kindred ADC have harder time getting stacks. She needs to leave lane which is bad considering that enemy can have free plates or straight up destroy your turret.
I like the list but Jinx is actually really good into assassins because of her chompers. Chompers and zap can both be used defensively actually. So i would move her up to very good. I would also delete seraphine from the list since shes AP. And i would put Jhin 1 tier higher than broken Then it becomes a perfect staircase
Your mf take was a bit out of pocket imo. Yeah sure the ulti feels ass and needs the positioning of a chess master but one of the better builds out there was pta ghost blade, essence, collector and you played for the huge frontloaded damage the champ provides with aa Q aa combo. That playstyle is still viable and might be off the charts with the lethality setups but it almost might be too early to tell. I would say a tentative decent with potential for very good is fair placement.

I lose on MF every time I first pick her in solo queue. I think she is easily countered and has fewer good matchups than other carries

That playstyle is still viable and might be off the charts with the lethality setups but it almost might be too early to tell. I would say a tentative decent with potential for very good is fair placement.

Well MF is only super good in low elo. In reality her kit isn’t that great and she’s not very mobile so you can shut her down if you just don’t feed pretty easily

You don't even need to be focused much on ult; auto Q auto is like the freest trade ever, that you can more or less setup yourself with E. She definitely deserves to at least be the mid tier imo
