- Опубліковано 8 лют 2025
- Step by step process on how to replace your Walker T25i (and older models) mower blower housing. This videos shows how I have replaced many of these bower housing. The process is very similar to the Exmark navigator lawnmower with hopper and deck blower. Email us anytime at jasonandjoniebuilds@gmail.com
Great job. We used this video & replaced our impeller in a little over an hour!!!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this video. A couple tweaks on what you shared. I had a 3rd bolt holding the top of blower in place. If was horizontal and integrated with the bolts that hold the blower case itself together. I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't come out! Also, after taking the deck off, I drove it forward onto car ramps. Then took a jack and lifted the rear up onto a block of wood. Lifted the entire mower up and seems a bit more stable than tipping it over with a single jack stand. Thanks for making this, there is a reason you have 15,000+ views! Take care.
Thanks Marcus!
Omg am I thankful I found this video, thanks for posting it, one of my employees destroyed the housing today on my mower and this is one thing I’ve yet to repair on it so this was immensely helpful👍
I am glad to help. Thanks for watching!
You have produced the best video I’ve seen on this task. Thank you. I’m replacing my blower next week. It has a very long crack that has worn longer and longer. Debris is now filling the engine area. It’s due.
Thanks! Glad I could help. Good luck on the replacement.
Awesome content.....getting ready to tear down mine..... Thanks again Jason!
Thanks Rod. Good luck
Really nice job, its just like you said, not the worst job but a little time consuming. Thank you!
Thanks!
Thank You, I need to change mine. Sent it to the shop the last time but this will save me money.
It is a little tedious but not that bad of a job. Good Luck!
@@JasonJonieBuilds I'm on my 3rd one. I do the same thing weld a plate to get a little more life, about another year after the first hole shows up. BTW did you ever change a hydro?
@bayou slots No sir not on a Walker. I have done about everything thing else on them. They seemed to be pretty durable to me.
Nice camera work very clear video
Thank you!
Very informative thank you! I'm in the process of replacing the stator on mine. It is time consuming pulling the motor. Wish it was a vertical crankshaft lol! I haven't replaced a blower assembly yet, but your video is very helpful for when the time comes.
Thanks! Good luck on the stator. Nothing is easy on a Walker. It is all so tight.
Thanks. Yes tuff to do anything on them without getting banged up a little!
I'm getting ready to do mine tomorrow...wish me some luck!
It is not too bad. Good luck.
Y’all need to adjust the stop limiters on the deck arms. When you flip the release levers, they should glide in and out of the carrier without having to lift up and down on the deck to align the levers. It’s easy and takes less than 5 mins. There is an Allen bolt just below the release on each side with a jam nut. Loosen the jam nut and adjust the Allen until the arms move in and out freely, once adjusted, tighten the jam back up. Makes things so much easier when you have to flip the deck up. Thanks for the video, I’ll be tackling this soon on mine.
Thanks man, I appreciate the advice. I'll keep that in mind next time I have his mower in the shop. Thanks for watching!
@@JasonJonieBuilds I still haven't tackled it yet but i need to, especially since the leaves are starting to fall pretty good here in west Tn. Came back and watched it again just because I enjoyed it so much! Is that the standard 10" blower or the upgraded, bigger one?
Mike it is still the same size just a newer unit with the bolt on blade. Good Luck!
Thank You for information and advice
Good to know how from someone who knows what there doing 😊
Glad to help! Thanks for watching!
Thanks man! Replaced my blower fan today with this.
Glad to help. In the sandy south the blowers don't last too long.
I wish you were around when I first took my blower housing out.
I did take some good ideas on how to do it in the future. Like tipping over the walker instead of lifting the whole thing up. But I have one idea for you that I didn’t know Was possible .
Instead of stabbing The deck into the female shaft. You can actually take the female shaft off and mounted on the Mail shaft and put it all back on to together. There is a quick release that mounts it up the directional driveshaft under the mower.
Thanks Isaac! I hope it helps. Thanks for watching.
I did it today, thanks for video, but if some one need to replace just the propeller get ready both bearing and shaft and be careful removing the pulley I broke mine with a small puller, so I had to buy a new one
Yes sir. That pulley is cast and will break pretty easy. Glad it helped.
Reach under and use the drive line release instead of just pulling drive line in half when pulling deck off. Makes it much easier to put back together.
Thanks for this!
THANKS for the Great Info!!! VERY Helpful 👍
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It is very detailed and easy to follow. I k ow it helped me and I am sure it will help others also. Nice job!!!!
Thank you Joe! I figured I was not the only one who had to replace these things often. Thanks for watching.
Great video...have done a few..that tip on the splined shaft was helpful
Thanks for watching Michael.
great video
Your video is awesome! I’m thinking about doing this to mine! I have to try to find a good place to buy parts online.
Thank you! They are available for sure. You just have to look around.
Quick tip pull the red side handles before the spring
Thanks,
great helpful video. Thank you for posting
I am glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching!
Very informative and detailed video. I will check my mower for this issue.
Thank you sir! I appreciate you watching.
Thanks for the video. How long does it take you to do the job
Thanks for watching! It takes about 2 hours. If the pulley comes off the original blower easy, maybe a little faster.
Loved this Video. What’s your opinion on a Starter change? Remove Blower or slide Engine back. Really liked the pivot lifting too. Awesome
Thanks for watching! If I remember correctly, the last time I changed the starter on one, it was easier to just remove the engine. They are very tight to work on.
Thanks Jason
Thanks for the video, very informative thank you brother!
Thanks for watching! Please subscribe we have more small engine content coming.
@@JasonJonieBuilds I'm looking forward to it!👍
I wonder if that belt tensioner had ever been greased. Its not easy to get to. Nice video.
Thanks
Thanks for the tutorial very helpfull mate jimmy D Aust
Thanks for watching!
Are these walkers high maintenance mowers in general , how long will that new blower last give us a reply please thank you
The Walker is a good mower. They don't need any more maintenance than the rest. They are more tedious to work on though. The blower lifespan is up to the soil/grass you have in your area. We are very sandy down here. I have seen a blower get used up in a year. Thanks for watching.
Thanks great video, going to look at one this week, the blower is supposedly seized and thus can't engage the blades. Is there any electrical lockout to stop the blades engaging or would it be because the belt can't rotate the fan. Thanks in advance
Paul I have seen it both ways. Seized bearings and sticks debris locking up the fan. Also, the gearbox has given issues in the past making one think the fan bearings were bad. Good luck!
@@JasonJonieBuilds cheers, all the best from Ireland
Thanks great job
Thanks for watching!
Way easier if you take off the tensioner pully
Thank you so much!!!!!
Glad to help. Thanks for watching!
How much is a new blower ? I’ve gotten 8 years outta mine fixing to replace it, thanks
Adam I will check with my buddy who owns the mower. He bought the replacement blower housing this last time. I will get back to ya. Thanks for watching.
Adam, My buddy said it was around $250. for the assembly. Thanks
Jason & Jonie Builds thanks man
@@JasonJonieBuilds where’s he getting his? All the places I see are 360-390
Mike, I will ask him. It is at a shop in either Troy or Montgomery Alabama. He has to drive an way to see them but they give him good deals.
Do you know why the drive shaft will only go together one way because the knuckles have to be timed otherwise the will fight against each other and wear out very quickly. FYI
I understand that completely. I just wanted the viewers to understand the shaft will only slide together one way. Thanks
Great video how long did this job take you?
If you have never done it I would say it will take you a couple hours. Thanks for watching!
can't thank you enough
Thank you! I hope it helped.
Thanks, good detail will give it a go.
Good Luck. It is not that bad just a little time consuming.
2Mar21 1330 Thank you from me in Aotearoa New Zealand. Your video has saved me a huge amount of time and anxiety. You're a life saver. God bless you and bless you. Ulu
Thanks Ulu! I am glad that it helped you. That video did much better than we ever expected. It was a job I have done many times. Take care.
He didn’t do his greasing ceased bearing bad boy
Yep! It will show up if it is neglected.
I wish you were around when I first took my blower housing out.

I will definitely check that out next time. Thanks for watching!
