Still haven't figured out a better way to select the actual points besides click/move and then undue, but I did find that selecting all the keyframes in the curve editor and chosing the "Soft" option does turn "Auto Tangents" off without having to mess with it in the attribute editor. Though I'm gonna adopt the idea @bawxofchawclets4836 mentioned, which is to change the default settings in my prefs. Still utterly baffled why you can't simply select a point and start tweaking the handles though.
the motion paths is pretty jankie but I always have to fight to get them to work by just moving them in the f curve and setting it interpolation to soft. Every project I Make sure I Go to Project Settings=>Animation tab and Turn off auto tangents and remove overshoot to start. I just wished that out all the auto saved prefs , that that one would remember my choice. But no biggie Keep Up the good work
Why its beheavour works like that? When I click the path point I would expected it will stay with its setting pannel up! Is it a bug? Maybe nobody has reported it yet so developers dont care about it to change it...
Hey, first I want to say thank you for your tutorials, they have been a big help for me. I know you mentioned attaching to spline option but you could also: select spline go to dope sheet and under function choose "spline to position track" and copy created keyframes to cube, so you will have motion track quicker :) Anyway I also think that working with motion path is super jankie. It's crazy than they can't be normally selected and that there is no axis handles to adjust the position .
hi... shift click the point, and the path/key properties will not disappear...
Весьма полезный материал, спасибо!
if anyone still cant see the tangents, highlight both the keyframes and click soften interpolation.
