    He comprehends what he hears or he knows what to express. But as broca area which is the one handling motor activity in terms of word output which is defective here (INABILITY TO FORM WORDS), definitely lesion is on broca area so its a Brocas aphasia

    Sir when i see a question written on a paper and wtite its answer in my answer sheet, this requires intact dejerine, brocas and exner. Wernickie has no role in this. So in case of Wernicke's aphasia will a patient be able to solve a question paper properly?

    This is wonderful video...sir if a child is suffering from PVL peri ventricular leacomalaica and now he is speaking only few words but not clear and point things which he needs. Sometimes his voice is only a sound like aaaa,,iiiiiii,,,,,uuuuuu,,,,than pls guide me what's good for his speech development...pls reply

    Sir what will happen if I want to start a conversation on my own without hearing/watching something? there is no role of visual and auditory area if I want to make a conversation from my end. Then how broca's area will know what word I have to say? the generation of word will occur in Wernick's area directly and then transmitted to Brocas area?

    Hi Dr. અક્ષત. I am wife of Mr setu Shah who has been diagnosed with broca's aphasia after he suffered a stroke on 1st September. I need help with the step and procedure on how to regain his speech. What are the steps involved in making this happen. Also if you have any idea about a speech therapist in Pune who is experienced in treating aphasia patients please help me with this problem
