Ep 45 - Start On FJ40 Front Axle, Birfield C Clip Install, Georg Esterer & Pals Come to Visit

- Had a little help from my friends a while back. I was thinking it would be cool to get another build going to assemble my front axle, but the world had other plans. From the Covid-19 epidemic, to the riots, and even bad weather, a lot stood in the way. But Georg, Tye, Rob, Ryan and Jarom managed to come up and lend me a hand. I was running on no sleep for almost 48 hours. Could you tell? The build went as well as you can imagine, and I have a follow up episode coming along shortly. Georg is a true cruiser wizard. Great dude, and his willingness to help morons is inspiring. When I’m done with mine, I’d like to get something going where a group goes to a garage or shop and helps and guy/girl out for the day.

and just so I have this clearly in mind, one guy holes the shaft, and other grips the tip while the guy holding the shaft drives it home. Further, you know it's all the way in when red stuff squishes out.
