I always learn something from your tutorials. By the way, when you use the freehand selection tool to make several selections, you can just touch the little grey circle in each selection rather than having to hit “add” each time.
Thank you from the heart for making my art look more professional! I bought these brushes after watching this inspiring tutorial and they are amazingly good! The best of the around ten watercolor brush bundles I’ve bought for Procreate so far, absolutely love them! The mix is perfect, these are the brushes one needs, and each brush is very well made, which doesn’t happen too often with watercolor brushes. Thank you for putting so much work into creating them, they’ll make my creative sessions more satisfying and productive, and thank you also for great tutorials! I’m a new subscriber and fan.
This has been so helpful!! Thankyou so much for this! Great technique 😊 Could you also do a tutorial on creating backgrounds for illustrations or portraits… the kind of botanical ones which we usually see in the folktale/ childrenbook illustrations? ( something like Anastasia Suvorova) Hope it is not too much to ask for 🙈
What's the benefit of using the auto selection tool to mask instead of just making new layers and then merging them? Never seen this before so I'm curious to learn!
Thanks for this! Love your voice and teaching style. I’ll get your brushes and subscribe! What do you like to use to print? I love the paper size with the edges you used. Can you share where to look for that?
As always your tutorials are so good and once again I learned something new and useful. Thank you so much for sharing. Just curious, what are some of the differences that your new watercolor brushes offer over your original set? I have that set and love it so much, two brushes, the abstract round and waterblender are always in heavy rotation when I'm trying to do a watercolor type drawing. I don't have the new iPad pencil that allows the new feature barrel roll.
Easy water color drawing❤ love it❤❤ thank you❤❤❤
Thank you so much for this tutorial. The leaves are gorgeous and your instructions are extremely helpful! 🌿
This is a great tip! I’ve been following you for several years. I love your style!
Love this video, thank you😄
Great video, Calvin. The use of the selection tool for layering leaves vs. using multiple layers is a really cool technique. LOVE IT. Thanks much.
Oh my goodness, Calvin, you always has the best tips for digital drawing!

Great tip!!! Is this brush set the same as the Aquarelle Brushes I have? I can't find this particular brush.
