yes I know this voids the warranty on most frames, yes it does add weight, and no I don't care, it has brought me so much confidence and joy, I love it.
and it goes without saying I do not recommend anyone doing this to any bike that does not support a dual crown fork, anything you do to you own bike is your responsibility.

I run a Oneup component EDC top cap which is threaded in the load the bearing with a cassette locking tool and it's great as star nuts never give me the load I need on the twin fork.
