I, along with a playground full of kids, used to get pulled by a St. Bernard whose owner put a harness on him. We could attach sleds and toboggans and trash can lids. That dog could pull three kids up hills so we could slide down as he raced us. He did this from morning until night time. 😢 His owners had orders to go from Alaska to Georgia. He supposedly died of a heart attack but we kids knew it was a broken heart. 😢

The three of them always used to sleep together and Honey, the beagle/lab cross regularly and gently carried our cat around in her mouth. The cat would just let het pick him up and carry him around the house. Honey would then drop him and start grooming him like he was her pup, even though she was spayed and never had any of her own.

I had 6 Siberian Huskies & a Reverend Jack Russell terrier aswell as a ginger & white moggie called TJ. Who aften slept in the outdoor shed with all the dogs. The shed was there as shelter from the rain or Sun. The back door was always open so the dogs could come indoors anytime they wanted. TJ was bought up with the dogs & loved all of them. My beloved Diva Kya. The alpha & oldest of the Huskies. Was his favourite though. They often cuddled together on my sofas lol. Having dogs all my life. I always have a cat or 2 at the same time. As it teaches my dogs NOT to be cat agressive.
How I miss my short legged Jack Russell Terrier Wiggy... and my Golden Retriever, 2 German Shepard Dogs, Black Lab, Beagle and my unique mixes, she was listed as a German Shepard /Jack Russell mix 😲and a Jackabee... a Jack Russell /Beagle mix. I remember my years through life by which dawg I had at the time 🥲Being a dog person is a gift from God which comes with great rewards and responsibilities. Enjoy those wonderful beasties 😘🐕🦮🐕🦺
