4 ways to make Kokyu Nage: Gyaku hanmi Katate tori Kokyu Nage

Kokyu Nage is one of the most symbolic techniques in Aikido and presents itself in countless forms. It is a traditional technique, despite not being considered a basic technique, like Ikkyo, Shiho Nage and Irimi Nage, but with a huge amount of possibilities within this "nomenclature".
There are countless ways to apply it, here in the video I explore one of them and some possible variations that I use in my practice.

Very good use of body mechanics. What a lot of people do not understand is that if the partner does not roll with the technique, he can have a broken wrist, dislocated shoulder, and so on.

Its not like that. The partner does not decide if he rolls or not. When done correct, it is Tori who instantly unbalances Uke and Uke has no other option than rolling.
