Sigh... I had a fitting issue but Saturday I got the ones that fit... I had a allergic reaction but I got some eye drops, that helped. They scan my eyes with the lens on and showed that there's NO mucus or anything... And it's STILL fogging... Sigh no one knows what's causing the issue still... I got artificial tears for dry eyes... And it's still happening SIGH! 😔😒
Do doctors usually sit down with you and guide you through the process of inserting the contacts? Mine just told me how to insert them. My contact lenses fog up in about 1 hour 30 minutes so im worried that im not inserting them correctly.
I can put my contacts in and experience fogging after 5 minutes. Only in ONE EYE though 😢 I’ve gotten 3 pairs and they say these fit correctly. They also gave me Optase for dry eyes and nothing changed! I have to take it out and put it back in at least 5 times a day 😢
@@ghizlane2388 yes, i currently use Celluvisc. I haven’t experienced fogging since I started using it but you WILL have to experiment to know exactly how many drops you need.
I recently got color contact lenses & I love them. BUT they fog up very quickly. When I take them out & wear my regular lenses they are perfectly fine. So do you think my color lenses don't fit? Does anyone else have this issue? Are they supposed to be blurry?
Very informative thank you, I've been suffering with post-lasik dry eyes progressing for 8 years and I'm searching for a doctor that does them. Are there any good doctors for this in the middle east?
Dr, I accidently scratched my eyelid and it caused my scleral lens to move which irritated my eye (the black dot was at the top of my eye) I was on the highway for another 35min till I was able to get home and take them out. should I take a break from them or should be good to wear them??
I asked my doctor and she said it will take 2 week to adjust and than it will be ok ( I have this problem in my right eye only ) is it true that it will take 2 weeks to adjust??? Please reply sir …
The black dot is orientation and it matters which manufacturer of the lens, and what orientation the mold was taken. I know it's a year later, but this is for others that come across too. By the way, black dot is put on with a sharpie and it will rub off over time, and you can re-apply the dot (on the outside of lens)
So it’s not just mine 😅 So helpful!! Thank you - they definitely don’t give you all these tips at the fitting
OMG...thank you so much! No one ever told me about tge black dots and orientation.
did fixing the orientation fix the fogging ?
This video completely answered my question; of why the foggy lens? Thank you😃.
We’re so happy to have helped you!
I experience this once in a while; not often though. However, it's only in one eye
OMG thank you so much!
In SOUTH FLORIDA , my old lens is used to fog up when I go from the cool air conditioning to outside

At our office we train and guide all our patients before we let them leave the office!

From what I’ve heard, no. They teach to insert and remove then mostly on your own
@Helen James refresh celluvisc
@Helen James or there is Systane Ultra
what were the wipes he mentioned? (at 2:25)

It's fine, take fake tears and use ointment cream 2-3 times a month or when you feel irritated....
Thank you so much :)
Why do my lenses fog up when I'm merely just holding the lense
My doctor told me that it doesn't matter where the black dots end up in when you put in the lenses.
Same for mine
I asked my doctor and she said it will take 2 week to adjust and than it will be ok ( I have this problem in my right eye only ) is it true that it will take 2 weeks to adjust??? Please reply sir …
Do you still have this problem ??? My doctor told it too
@@alitatlari3576 yeah it is not good same as one year ago
Never knew about that that black dot thing
I alaways thought the black dots went on top

wow! the black dot I was told it was to indicate the right eye smh
Me too!!!!
