    She says she hates the sound of her own voice, can't stand watching herself in movies. A lot of this stems from the backlash she had after winning the Oscar. People really torched Gwyneth after the Oscars.

    i wonder what she did to "win" the oscar, Harvey really went all out to rob the oscar to Shakespeare in love when every single person knew Saving Private Ryan was the real winner.

      Personally, I love Paltrow. The hate some have towards her is that goop is full of shit. She really is pedaling pseudoscience garbage. That's just truth. If she were to just stick with beauty, spa and clothing, there wouldn't be such animosity. Also, there are many people who dislike the women on the View and Knowles as much as they do Paltrow. The Internet/social media are full of it, for all these women.

    The Oscar happened when she was too young, don't think it really sank in. It would mean much more winning one now, but she's not getting plum roles like she used to.

    • @rolandofgilead43
      @rolandofgilead43 4 роки тому

      well he does have people do research to be prepared for whoever he has come on the show, so that's why you have his guests really taken by surprise with certain questions. ya know i like her as an actress too and i don't remember anything about her speech as i pretty much forget anything about the oscars after like maybe a week.
      but i am glad she won that year since she had both her parents who were both still alive at that point. that's prolly another reason why she was so emotional too she was thrilled they got to see her win it

    Sorry her dad died of cancer.
    I think my diet might be the best for possibly alleviating or healing cancer, or preventing a recurrence. I''ve followed it for 14 years, and it helps with my eyes. For the same reasons it helps my eyes, I think it might alleviate, or prevent a recurrence, of cancer.
    Basically on this diet I have been living about 92% on cow milk and cow cream. So every day day, 365 days a year, 92% of my diet or more is some kind of milk--nonfat, 1%, 2%, or whole--and I sometimes buy pints of fluid whipping cream and drink them straight (fluid whipping cream is strong but delicious.)
    When I eat a lot of solid, mixed food, my eyes hurt and vision blurs. But when I live on this 92% milk and cream diet they feel better and work better.
    I will try to explain why I think it works.
    When you eat or drink something, your body breaks it up. If it's solid food, first you chew it, and then, whatever you eat or drink, your gastrointestinal system breaks it up even further. Then your system extracts the nutrients from the food and sends them in your blood to the cells to nourish all the cells.
    Based on my experience, I would say that even though your body breaks up solid food, it doesn't break it up as much as milk and cream are broken up, and when the nutrients from the solid food reach the cells they clog and irritate the cells, leading to pain and disease. Milk and cream, on the other hand, start out much smoother than solid food. They actually are largely composed from food the mother has eaten where her body broke that food up. Then, when I drink the milk/cream, my body breaks them up even more. Basically they get broken up twice unlike solid food which is only once, so when the nutrients from the milk and cream reach the cells they don't clog them as much as solid food nutrients, so the cells function better. This is why I think my diet might lessen many diseases, including cancer, HIV, MS, etc.
    Another way to think of it is that when solid food nutrients enter the blood, they are more of a thick, sludgy gruel, whereas the milk/cream nutrients will be finer and thinner. Perhaps you cold understand that the gruel will be harder for the cells to handle.
    Also I think the mom's body chooses the softest, most easily handled elements of her own food when it composes the milk.
    Additionally I think for any disease weight loss is important. I do think my diet helps with weight loss because milk and cream are delicious but they're largely water, so the diet fills you with zero-calorie water. Also, I think a person thinks more clearly on my diet cuz their brain isn't clogged with solid food, and when you think more clearly it's easier to control food intake.
    One thing about this diet is that when you drink milk you do end up having to urinate some. When I'm going to something where I don't want to have to urinate, such as a movie where I don't want to have to leave in the middle to urinate, I drink some cream some time before the event. Cream is good because it gives me a lot of calories to sustain me, but it doesn't have much water so I don't have to urinate as soon. I suppose if one were at work and didn't want to have to urinate too much, one could drink more cream also.
    There are some more aspects to this diet but I don't want to overwhelm you by giving you too much. If interested, write me at milkcowsmasai@yahoo.com.
