2:03 - I argued with a customer for a few minutes that dropping a bundle of fenceposts into a trailer from that height was going to mess up his trailer and probably his hitch. Customer was insistent. I did it as gently as I could and still bent his hitch down a bit. Supervisor was right there for the discussion.
Watching this guy slam dunk a pallet of into that trailer hurts more than you think.
Buddy of mine is a manager at a landscape supply warehouse. 'Professional' contractor, with over 2 years of experience (WOW) insisted his 800lb rated trailer could handle BOTH 1 ton pallets of patio blocks. My buddy made the guy sign a waiver.
The Trailer did not in fact, handle the load. Didnt even make it out of the parking lot.
I mean, i loaded my truck with 2 tons of wood pellets, but it was able to handle it, for a short period.

@@Y2KNW ive seen worse. I run a dumptruck so im always in the rock pits. Guy came in with a raptor that he had used plywood in the bed to raise the height of said bed. He made the loader put almost 12 tons of gravel in and kept yelling to add more when the loader hesitated. He actully bent the axle from weight.

The air filter one made me laugh out loud, I admit. Not long ago, I had a stalling problem in my Rogue, changed the air filter myself. Turned out it was a timing control solenoid, but the filter was overdue for a change, anyway.

@@davidalfaro5511 There can be several different reasons. I think in that car case there was water on the pads. Notice it was raining. Once they dry off they will probably be fine. It could also be the brake material or contamination of those pads. The last thing I can think of is the wear indicator is rubbing. Time for new brake pads.

My brother had something like that happen to his old Plymouth Breeze. The shop bent the fuck out of the bottom of the body by not putting the supports under the frame. They refused to fix the damage and I think he just dumped the car anyways since it had so much crap wrong with it anyways. Not worth getting a lawyer involved and spending thousands potentially

That engine essentially is stuck in a loop of providing more and more power to itself. Only way you can even HOPE to stop it is by starving it of air.

Runaway is why some trucks have a gate valve on the intake. In areas like gas plants where there is enough fuel in the air to run you can't just key off a diesel. The emergency valve is your only hope to stop it.

That's common sense. Though I use the front and rear tire. If you use a bumper for testing it can come off. Its happened before but not to me.

To properly tow a FWD. It must be towed from the front. With the drive tires off the ground. Even RWD you should either take the driveshaft off or tow it backwards with the front wheels (steering) AWD should be hauled on a flat-bed. Not doing so can potentially cause issues with the trans etc. As they are not necessarily designed to run highway speeds (as an example) for long periods of time in neutral. The Honda is being dragged while it's in park (parking paw engaged) if it's a manual car the front wheels could still roll, but have to fight against engine compression. However in this case it's being dragged backwards. So it wouldn't roll unless in N or R. An E-brake is obviously for the rear wheels and it clearly isn't engaged.

I think it depends on the car. My current one needs it only every 6000 miles or so; the minivan I used to have could make it around 10000 miles.
You don't have to though if you change it ever 4000 miles it adds another 50hp each time.
Read somewhere if you use distilled water you can go as much as 20,000mi. It's got to do with mineral deposits or something.

I mean if it's on the back of the repo truck, I don't think it's your car. No harm being done to it anyway. It'll take a very long distance before it even starts to harm the transmission. Usually repo guys will remove the vehicle from private property before adding a dolly or swapping it the other way around(this looks like a FWD vehicle).
