I have one and its my live amp! I run it through whatever cab i can find, through a 4x12 it's loud enough for all but the loudest drummers. Through a 1x12 it's great for most things and i often run it like that with someone on electronic drums. For me its really early Marshall tones, first few ACDC albums, Free, Hendrix etc. Raw and untamed.
Very nice video Jon! I got the Micro Dark back in December (with a 1x12 Harley Benton cab) and i love that little thing. Can't wait your demo on that one too! Best wishes!

Hi and thanks for this new video ! For home I choosed the following option : A Behringer Vintage Tube Monster (12AX7, Master, Gain, Treble+MID+Bass separate controls) plugged in a Harley Benton Tube5 Celestion tube amp (Volume, Tone, switch 1 or 5 watts, output for 8-16 ohms cabinet, nothing more). The Vintage Tube Monster is attacked by a booster to saturate the 12AX7 tube. Gain on the monster is set to zero. You obtain a riche saturated tube sound even at low volume for home practice. PS : The Behringer Vintage tube Monster has a built in noise gate with Threshold control).
Very usefull to get 70th Rock area sounds even with headphones plugged in, if you stay in the preamp section, any Hybrid amp wont sound good in the power section, this is a nice little thing :)
Great playing. I had this for home practice but the lack of fx loop made me sell it for a DSL1R combo. One thing I noticed about amps like this is that input is always on the right on older style UK amps and mostly always on the left on other amps. Reason I noticed this is because subconsciously plugged into the phones socket and wondered where the sound went all of the sudden lol.
oh yes.. i have a micro terror and i have also plugged into the phones socket several times. nice to know it wasn't just me. its like our brains are programmed to plug into the socket on the extreme left.
you can use the headphone out to connect your modulation fx and then to an external power amp or audio interface to use power amp emulation and cab sims/IRs
Great review that I enjoyed having a glass of orange juice 🍊 It sounds quite amazing, the size doesn't say how good it sounds and more in your hands with that orange S-style, hat and t-shirt!
Seems like companies are really jumping into the 'Mini' amp market. This Orange Micro Terror sounds great with that Orange cab, and its simplicity makes it perfect for a practice amp. Loved the intro, Jon! Good thing you installed the Vega Trem on your Schecter Nick Johnston - many stock trem systems wouldn't have survived that lolol ;)
Because the tone stack is so simple, and it's closer to the clean/crunch side of things, running modulation and time-based effects through the front shouldn't be a problem; at least I don't think so. 😏
I had one right after they first dropped with 2 of their cabs! Way to loud for my room mates! Ha! Great little beast of an amp tho! Awesome content Jon! Cheers!
Wow great playing i have the amp its good. I think it is very good for the size and price of course its limited but a small amp that can be plugged with no hassle is great. Some times i just do not want to use my big amp and i wanted a smaller one to go on my pc table. So i got this, i was not sure at first but now i love it.
Such passionate playing. Very cool to see people still checking these out! Bought one as my starter amp in 2014 and it's been my only amp ever since, been happy spending my money on pedals. Also are you from Singapore? I spent the first 12 years of my life there, and I miss it dearly. Cheers :)
I wonder if any of these abs can get the natural Distortion tone just turning it up on low like 5 Watts or whatever maybe this one doesn't have that. I have the orange CR 35 and it has a really good Reverb but the speaker sucks. And something is vibrating I can fix that I can put a speaker in but I'm not going to. Hey you got a guitar to match the amp. We're kind of guitar is that? I think every amp has different sounds too. So maybe you might want to use different hands for different things those tiny Terror amps are amazing
You can just connect them, the same way you would if they matched. The only difference is they would not provide the full power the amplifier was designed for, by about 3db✌️❤️
The amp is excellent, I own one, and Jon's music is awesome. That being said, the demo is full of treatment, halo, reverb, delay, all kinds of pre or post modulation, and hence is not representative of the amp tone.
I’m really surprised at the tones in this little setup Jon. It’s a great little practice amp. It would be even better if it had an effects loop though but great value. I bet It would sound wonderful in my Celestion vintage 30 2/12 cab. Great demo and wonderful intro. 👍😄👍👍
I have a micro dark and use it with my 4x12 Carvin Legacy cab loaded with some real broken in V30s and it does sound really good. It scoops like crazy though so you have to be careful to balance the eq just right or use a mod boost drive.
One of the best demos of this amp and shows the amp can put out tone.
Thank you

Very nice!✌💚
Nice to hear a demo that is right to the point and showcasing a variety of playing styles instead of just bar chords with the gain up all the way.
@@synthogod thank you
Nice playing Man...
Thanks a lot!

Nice!!✌️❤️
Best demo of all for this little stack. Loved it and your playing as slways! SOLD!
Glad you like it!✌️
Me too, I use the Orange MT but on a Hartke 4x8 cab or self modified locally sourced cabs.
Nice
Everything you play sounds phenomenal.
Thank you ✌️❤️

Orange amps have such a beautiful "chime" that accentuate upper order harmonics.
Well done my friend.

Great tone!
Thank you brother ✌️❤️
Incredible playing, so far the only enjoyable demo using this cab I have heard
Thank you kindly ✌️❤️

Great video. Just got one today off Reverb. Looking forward to jamming this little amp
Enjoy!

Dude that sounds is not from the micro terror, it come from your amazing hands! Great play my man
Thank you✌️😝✌️
Great playing! Such amazing tones you get from your guitar! 🫡
Did you slave it for the effects or you just added them in postprod?
Post…
Love that Orange strat

I really enjoy your gear demos. Very informative and fantastic playing. That looks like a cool little practice amp.

Yay for Orange!!
❤️❤️
More like Jon is just too Groovy.
Lol
Mate, that solo!!!! 😃😃
Thanks✌️❤️
Amazing demo and great playing. I have the same amp and cab but have never made it sound this good, what affects and settings were used?
The basic sound is from the amp.. the delay and reverb is from the line 6 Helix Native ✌️❤️
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Many thanks for your reply.👍
Hi, thank you for the great videos. I love your posting in general. What is the bridge pickup in that orange strat style guitar? Thanks
Schecter Pasadena ✌️❤️

Really!! Where are you residing now??✌️❤️
Excellent playing.
I holiday in Singapore whenever I can. I always go to that complex on Hill Street that has all the guitar shops. Guitar Heaven!
Your style sounds like Jeff Beck… Great playing & tone enjoy your channel
Thank you ✌️❤️
Hi Jon, is the black cabinet orange ppc112?
Nope
Should i get these 2 or Boss Katana 50
Your decision to make
Can we connect it to the Vox Pathfinder 15R?
What’s that??
@@JonIsJustTooLoud It is an old 15 watt Vox combo amp.
I like the candles for background lighting. But won't they bring your house down or is that just a green screen
Lol.. no they are fake ✌️❤️
Micro Terror! Sounds... intimidating. lol
Lol

If it says minimum 8 ohms for the speaker input, you can use 16 as well?
You can just connect them, the same way you would if they matched. The only difference is they would not provide the full power the amplifier was designed for, by about 3db✌️❤️
It just mean you should not connect a 4 ohm cab, because the amp will probably be over loaded then.
Desperate to watch your review on the Fractal audio Fm9😊✌❤🎸
✌️❤️
Plays with 8ohms real well?
Yes ✌️❤️
does the cabinet come with or a separate buy?
It’s separate..✌️❤️
Lololoool the micro terror, the name is program 😀
Yes it is !!
The amp is excellent, I own one, and Jon's music is awesome. That being said, the demo is full of treatment, halo, reverb, delay, all kinds of pre or post modulation, and hence is not representative of the amp tone.
