The amount of memories you're making right now is staggering! To think, you're only scratching the surface... :-) Can't wait to see what other iconic event you'll be able to run.. P.S. I cheer for you whenever you're on track at F1 Academy. I know it's a learning year, but you're already making great progress. Driving single seaters is vastly different to any other type of motor vehicle.
Your dad would be so proud of you Lia!!! You're an amazing driver and you're killing it in the ARA! Keep up the good work Lia and POST MORE VIDEOS!!!!! WE LOVE WATCHING THE WHOLE BLOCK FAMILY!!!!!
It makes me happy that Lia is genuinely enjoying all things asociated to motorsport. The joy of driving that classic Williams, of being in Goodwood and meeting past world champions is passing through the screen. A true petrolhead.
Same here. Sadly I broke a lower vertebrae at 19 & derailed any real competition in me. I still had fun a track days, but it was never the same. Lia has natural talent in abundance. Anyone who was more than an armchair racer can see that. As long as that smile stays, she's going to be a force to be reckoned with.
Emerson Fittipaldi won his first F1 race at Watkins Glen in 1970. I remember going to the last F1 race there in 1980 with my Dad and meeting him in the paddock and he was such a humble and generous man. Cool (1) that we have meeting him in common. It is also cool (2) that years later I installed a Fittipaldi steering wheel on my Celica Supra. It served as a constant reminder of his generosity that day. very cool (3) that your Goodwood experience went so well. Keep inspiring us Lia.
Keke Rosberg is a fucking legend. Doesnt do media these days though. First Finnish F1 champion and managed/helped a lot of young talent after his career like Mika Häkkinen.
And also the times he drives in the german DTM. Keke was such an inspiring driver and men. I'd always loved to see him turning round by round and catches other drivers in each race ❣
I was there one year when Ken was in the Hoonicorn. Looking down from the little straight betwwen Turns 1&2, he arrived into my view completely sideways exiting T1, like I was looking at the front view of the car moving horizontally, at maximum attack and full noise. It was truly awesome. I'll never forget it.
It feels like you were just learning how to drift recently and now you're in a full formula series and driving historic F1 cars. You are doing amazing things coz you're awesome.
Lotta people won’t notice but the LIA on the back of the helmet and the whole helmet design just pays homage to your father and is such a nice touch brought me back about 10 years and you shouldn’t think anything about it except for just living your best life. We will support you through anything!
Got to see your run on the Saturday, well done! the off-board shot just before the crossing you can see me as you flew by. Thank you for visiting West Sussex, glad you had an amazing time. Was lucky enough to see your dad 3 times up the hill too. Thanks for being a racing icon, keep racing!
@@BlockHouseRacingi watched your video not really knowing how your experience was going to turn out. I have to say you did fabulously! To drive at iconic Silverstone is epic...especially for your first time...let alone in a ex f1 Williams car. Then to take it to another venue and having a great one lap experience was so awesome. Really enjoyed this video, massive respect to you...cheers from thd States! 🏁🏎💨
Watched the short clip on Goodwoods channel the other day, but im glad you guys released your own video with much more detail and behind the scenes. Please keep making videos, Im sure we would all love to follow along with the Block familys awesome motorsports journey.
The happiness on your face after going round Silverstone was great to see 😊 wish I was lucky enough to do all the great stuff you're getting to do well jealous.
I'm enjoying watching you go. Loved your dad and been a fan of Williams since Sir Nigel. Keep doing what oure doing. This old man will keep watching. Best of luck

Lia you are just the best. There is nothing you can't drive or race. Awesome Dad and an awesome daughter. Drive whatever you want to drive. Thanks for being such a strong and down to earth person. You go girl.👌💯👌
was brilliant to see lia flying up the hill on the saturday and the family there to support her! hopefully we see her in the hoonipigasus or hoonicorn next year
I would have spent every minute in the garage, taking in all that history and asking questions. Williams really went out of their way to do this for you. A never forget moment.
Can't stop being in awe of how impressively skilled the Block family is. Been keeping a fans eyeful watch on both sisters and the brother and even Mama Block. All just excelling and being impressive as hell. Ken surely is proud. F1 racing?! Holy Smokes!
AS a F1 fan I was lucky enough to see this exact car win the 1982 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, back when it was an F1 race. If memory serves Keke Rosberg finished 2nd in that race, I actually met him and was able to get an autograph from him. He was a heck of a nice guy. Good luck on you Journey to a true F1 racing career, I will be watching out for you in the future.
Did you go to Long Beach last year? It was there again for the historic race. The historic races are the main reason I go to the LB GP. Modern IndyCars are so uninspiring.
@@Vorgaloth I haven't been to Long beach since the F1 days I have no interest in that race any longer. They ruined it with all of the changes they made to the lay out.

@@Vorgaloth I miss them going up the hill to Ocean Blvd down Ocean Blvd to Linden way through the Indy left then through the LeGasomet hairpin back onto Shoreline Dr. That was over 40 years ago though. I was on Zandvoort on Saturday, sad I didn't get to see you race because of the weather, but watched the races live from home on Sunday. You keep going, you rock! Warm greetings from the Netherlands!!!

I have been following Lia since her Dad showed the first Video, asking Lia if she wants to race is like asking a fish if it wants to swim 😊
