I have the vrsf race exhaust on my e93 on my page i had to do a lil bit of cutting but im not getting any rattling and its clearing everything after i bolted the v brace back together

I have same set up all u need to buy is the poly exhaust mounts the have a hole that u can lower the muffler like 1/8” worked perfect for me with no modification

I have the same setup/ same car. I had to modify the v-brace to clear the pipe from rubbing. Also I used the OEM hangers to hang lower than the VRSF provided braces. It will clear the fitment issues you are experiencing. I am running the race version and am happy with it. Highly recommended!

As long as you have cats then you’re fine, if u get the vrsf cat back then you’ll be fine but if u want it to pass emissions you should stick with cats
ATM race exhaust sounds really good and less raspy that the vrsf one

So you ever reinstall those bars? I got an e92 and I'm not trying to lose all that structure for an exhaust that clearly doesn't fit it sounds amazing but that may break the deal for me

I'm kinda hesitating to modify my exhausts cause the other 335i on youtube sound like a diesel after they get modified. I guess because of the turbo.
This is a N54. I do have upgraded twin turbos if that makes a difference.

Word of advice coming from a Jew. If you're going to "Jew" out on the crucial parts on the N54, go get yourself a Honda. Not wise to cherry pick/neglect PM on these cars. Top PM items you should have take care of BEFORE getting a new exhaust: Index 12 Injector replacement, Coils, Water Pump, T-Stat, OFHG, Walnut Blast, Valve Cover Gasket, belt/pulley replacement & then the alternator if needed. I've had my E90 for 5 years and it took a bit but all of that has been completed. She's due for another walnut blast and her turbos will go soon, at that point she will get new turbos and a VRSF exhaust along with new charge pipes. It's senseless to do everything else and ignore the ones that WILL leave you on the side of the road waiting for a flat bed.

Amen the first things I did to my n54 was an oil change+catch can, belt and all tensioners replaced, vanos solenoids cleaned, then the water pump failed at about 120k miles, walnut blasted, voltage regulator at 125k (40$ fix) I’ve put about 16k miles on my 6spd e92 and just got all new injectors last week, car runs better than ever no check lights or oil burning/leaks other than the oil pan

VRSF downpipe MagnaFlow complete exhaust without headers 335i sounds awesome after 3000 RPM!!!!! You don't need anything else except the headers the headers yeah maybe but it still sounds awesome and it's not noisy when you driving in on a regular basis A to B!!!
You need to get the carly app and wifi dongle so you can turn your tpms light off and turn the seatbelt light and sound off as well

is there anyway I can make my 2011 e90 323i sound better, i feel like since its a 323i that it cant sound good/decent, when i rev all the noise is coming from the engine and you dont hear anything from the exhaust. Nice sounding 335i btw

My experience with vrsf wasn’t that pleasant tbh. I’m running a vrsf race catback exhaust rn. After the time I purchased online, they replied on the email that they are currently not available for the parts(after I paid and it didn’t say anything on their page online). I waited another 3 months for the exhaust ( the shipping was like 2 days). Another problem is the fitment, I had the same issue even when I’m installing on e92 🗿 the middle part of the exhaust is touching the body and the exhaust tips are not matching at all rn😂 well overall I can’t really blame them cuz you know you get what you paid right?? This’s the cheapest brand catback exhaust you can buy I guess??🤔

I was gonna ask you, i'm looking for my E93 at the moment they start at £6k/$7.5 to £8.5k/$10,600
They £6k/$7.5k ones are 85,000 to 110,000 miles on the clock.
And the £8.5k / $10,600 are 55,000 to 85,000 miles on the clock.
My question is is there any point spending the extra money when i'm tuning it, wrapping it. And doing all the pre-maintence prior to the 17t upgrade. Please the list of things i want to do below for pre maintenance.
Full engine out service:
• All the Gaskets
-Oil Pan Gasket
-Valve Cover Gasket
-Oil fiter housing Gasket
•Lines
•Seals
• Ignition Coils Delphi or Bosch
• Walnut blast to reduce carbon depsosits on Intake Valve

• Electric Oil Pump (Very weak point of N54)
• Water Coolant pump
•Injectors Index 12 (need to be coded)
•Alternator if not been changed
•Vanos
•Upgraded high highpressure fuel pump
•Updated low pressure fuel sensor

@@alexwalsh31 @Alex Walsh The race exhaust will be a bit louder but when paired with a resonator should sound good! I will be making a video on that one as well.
As far as your e93 goes I'd save the money and get one with more miles on it since you're looking to do a engine out service. These engines are very strong if everything around them are taken care of. I'd shoot for one with 100K or less miles if you can. Also the history of the car is very important. Make sure it's been well taken care of and no improperly owned with zero maintenance. If you have a personal mechanic, a prepurchase inspection goes a long way.
I think you have the right idea and I'm glad to see someone interested in tackling maintenance first before mods.👊🏼

What about updates on the turbos and tuning? Why is this such a secret?
It all comes down to custom tuning. Had to switch tuners and even doing so it's been a slow process because of Covid.

I have had my vrsf street for about 3k miles on my 335i E90 and just waiting on my catless DP's it still wont allow for the center brace even with the spacers on my E90. I haven't noticed any difference in handling or flex but with a vert it may be an issue.
