I think a basement with a cauldron and all her secret witchy stuff would be so cool! She could use the nectar storage as a front and have a secret door to her witchy lair! Keeps the element of secrecy and gives her a safe place to practice magic!!

You can turn off the aging of animals including chickens in your menu. Just go to settings and disable the aging for farm animals

You need to keep talking to him to get a secret recipe for life extending nectar.
You don't actually need the recipe from him; you'll get it once you're high enough level.

There's a mod called "Phone To Notebook Replacement mod" by Ayoshi that I love. Since sims love to pull out their phones all the time it really helps with immersion.
You should get her a cauldron and some magical plant seeds so she can start learning potions. She can either learn the decursify spell or the recipe for the curse cleansing potion
If you summon your familiar it takes less time to learn new spells so i highly recommend doing that to learn copypasto faster

For the greenhouse you can make the 4th wall somewhere else and move it. It won't "close it" so it won't delete the plants.
it doesn't really delete the plants, by the way, they just go to the family's inventory
@@magiiicath Yep, you can add walls to your heart's content without deleting any plants. The plants and any produce that was on them got kicked to your Household Inventory. Just replant when you're done.
PS Although the way you did it wasn't a "room" didn't count toward total tiles on the lot, so I don't think it removed your tiny house perks. If you want that, you might just want to leave it how it is. You might have to remove the floor tiles from the greenhouse if you used them instead of terrain paint, I didn't notice if you did.
You can use the witchy door for a “magic” room in the castle and keep the castle aesthetic throughout the house 😊

The fun thing about the florilorial spell is that even though weeds are bugged doind them the proper way, florilorial spell on a plant will fix them. Recently found that out, lol
Also if you use Repairio you can bring the plants back to life after you kill them from a failed spell. You need to make friends with the other two sages and get all the spells, not just one.

@@echung168yeah I don’t know either, but since she said she didn’t know much about it, she might think you had to pick a discipline. Also, she was frustrated because you had to befriend them so she just didn’t try.
I'm 100% getting the vibes that maybe the servant isn't all he's made out to be... like maybe he's a spy from the palace, and he was sent because someone caught her doing magic... maybe it's the catalyst that turns her to dark magic...
There's a Potion in the reward store to remove a curse, you can also brew it once you learn the Potion and there's also a spell you can learn to remove a curse
Every time you learn a spell, also select learn a potion.
You can graft the snapdragon flower onto the strawberry bush to get the dragonfruit. They are $250 each fruit. Easy money that way since youre harvesting everything and selling it.

When you build a room around your plants, there’s a floor you need to remove and all your plants are in the house inventory and will be in the same condition you left them in before you built the room …

You're right! But in the past when I've replaced the plants it takes a few days for them to re-grow and I wasn't willing to wait hahaha
For your greenhouse, you can make it into a fake room to maintain your Tiny/Micro House benefits by drawing 3 connected walls then drawing your 4th wall a little bit farther away then picking it up to close off the "room".
(This is only IF you want to maintain those benefits and don't mind tricking the game to give you the Tiny House perks.)
If you save the tiles from the greenhouse, you can use those tiles for your actual livable home and still have those small home benefits down the line.

Not sure about this Fredrick fellow. Hmmm. At the very least I feel like Briar's approaching him for the wrong reasons. Kinda like she's more interested in the idea of being in a relationship than actually interested in him, you know? Maybe the lady at the festival gave her a self-fulfilling prophecy, lol! uh oh!!

Briar is royalty so it would make sense if someone cursed her. It would be cool to have a wicked witch Sim in the world as her nemesis. Then when Briar’s magic gets really good you could challenge her to a duel. You had mentioned that you want Briar to learn wild magic.
The modular couches have a curved version if you hit the cog icon like a cabinet! Only if you wanted to switch it up!

The roosters and chickens have a tell when they can be communicated with ... the ❤ means they want love or a hug ... the 🌞 means they want to be talked to the 🎉 means they wanna be silly or played with ... thoes are the ones tht got me gud relationship with them😊

Valerian root is a plant from the spellcaster realm, so you can either buy magic seeds in BB mode or go to the magical realm and scrounge around for it. The magical realm doesn't have seasons, so plants will always grow there :D
Hear me out, the king found her suss from their frist meeting but couldn't place his finger on why. He arranged his man servant to befriend her to spy, so he can determine if she is friend or foe (it'd also be cute if the servant actually accidentally falls for her though). Somehow (maybe through his other spy, the friendly wizard next door) he has found out she is practicing magic and taking to it like a natural, even winning a dual against an experienced wizard on her second ever try. He fears if she becomes too powerful she may be an unstoppable threat and until he know whose side she's on, he can't risk that. He had her cursed to stunt her training until he can figure out what it is about her that isn't sitting right

Plants that are out of season, are bugged with weeds that cannot be removed when they are not in season. You'll be able to remove the weeds once the plants are in season again.

You need to buy a cauldron to practice making potions to cure the curse. Anyone asks "oh that, that's just my laundry cauldron" lol
I'm mostly sure that the plants were just moving to your inventory? You could probably just put them back down after you set the room if you wanted iirc (although what you have is gorgeous, so could just leave it).
I stand by this being one of my favorite series from you lately, it’s just so much fun! I really like the way the green house came out, but if you still wanted to close it off, all you have to do is delete the floor and you can keep growing the plants inside. Though you may need to move them out then back in by hand in the BuildBuy. (Also, there’s a Decursify spell you can learn From the Sages in the magic realm, or by one of the shops in Caster Alley)
Kelsey, this is not a huge deal but if you want, her nightie has an accessory bow that goes on the back of it (I just can't remember what category it's in, sorry!)

I think every woman who has ever experienced discharge thought the same thing 😂 fourth grade me thought I was peeing a little throughout the day! 😂😂
I'm glad you mentioned that you couldn't weed a plant - it's not just me!! The sim gets stuck on this annoying endless cycle of trying to weed some plants but it never works. End up having to reset/debug them every time. Depending on what cc/mods you have installed, you can set the growth state, weed growth, etc for all of your plants. I ended up just using a cheat for the ones that they can't do themselves.
I would get Carl's mod (I believe part of his Dine Out mods) where you can fertilize all plants in your garden. It's so useful since you don't have to individually click to fertilize each plant.

What I did when I made my greenhouse was moving my plants to a different area in my yard then I just made the greenhouse and deleted the floor so that I was able to put the plants back inside. I do love what you did with it though and I am really enjoying this series!!
currently obsessed with this series!! almost hate that I am watching real time uploads cause i really wanna binge this one. I also love the storylines and cant wait to see how the castle progresses!!
For drama and to tie in the bleak romance prediction, shes starts to date the king or a prince bc maybe hes starting to suspect her witchcraft and she thinks she can convince him shes normal, but he ends up being a terrible person and she unintentionally falls inlove with the kings servant and then when she becomes a high ranking spell caster, she takes her rightful place as queen of the realm, taking the kingdom back from the rule of the evil king. Or something like that lol.
And since you said elphaba (however you spell it) is your enemy, it makes sense that shes the one that cursed you and maybe shes the one who told the king about your illegal witchcraft.
A cool story line would be to use magic to make money and create her castle but in the end to win Prince Charming she has to give up her magic to get her happily ever after.
To keep chickens alive, I believe you have to turn off the animal aging in your settings. James Turner did it in his Cottage Living LP. But I think it still gives you pop-ups as though it's still aging which is annoying. It's great if you don't mind having immortal animals. But animals also have short lives which is very annoying.
I'm pretty sure the plants just went into your inventory. You can avoid that by moving the plants outside of the greenhouse, closing the greenhouse in, deleting the floor so it's still a dirt floor, and then moving the plants back into it. OR you can enclose three sides of it, draw a wall the length of the one you need, and move that wall in. It won't enclose the space or read it as a "room" much like you have it now, but mostly that just means lighting will be funky inside. Or you can keep it as it is! It's still pretty this way!
Also, as others have said, you can get a potion of curse cleansing in the aspiration rewards with your points, and you can turn off aging on animals in the settings. I love this series! Can't wait for the next one!

Cheating the weeds away unfortunately doesn’t work. I did however notice that they must’ve fixed the gardening glitches because anytime my sims try to weed the plants they go away. Also, when you build over the plants on the ground they don’t just poof away, they end up in your household inventory!

It's also because it made it into a full-on room with ceiling and flooring. If she drew 3 walls then dragged a/the 4th wall onto the other ones, it wouldn't make it into a room with floors.
You can actually study potion making as a spell caster and fill up your needs as needed then copypasto those potions and never have to sleep, eat, go to the bathroom and just do what you need to do to earn.

Something about Briar strikes me as ace, and the reading at the romance festival maybe solidified that. 😜 (Speaking as another ace! You think it sucks at first, then you're like "Actually ..." Lol)
To undo the curse you must learn a spell or you can choose a reward once you get enough spellcaster points that will make that your sim can magic the curse away. You can also brew a potion. Hope this helps !!

For my greenhouse I found two ways to add walls for windows, doors, and a roof to not lose my plants. First I was hand moving each plant out, built the greenhouse and delete the floor, then move each plant back in. The other way that I remembered reading somewhere after spending a long time moving my plants was to make 3 walls and then make your last wall free standing. Once you made the wall move it to be part of the building. But I can't remember if I tried it or just stayed stubborn and kept moving everything by hand.

You should be able to turn on move objects to save your plants and build walls around the greenhouse! If not, they just go to your household inventory when you place the walls, so you should be able to place them again :)

For the greenhouse, add a wall the size you want to the side then drag it into place. It keeps it outside and doesn't add to the tile count for your tiny house :)
For the greenhouse, you can move your plants in build mode, enclose the building and then either remove the floor or add planters and then move the plants back in. 😊
Omg, I learned a bit ago that occults have special nectar they can make! I can't remember what the benefits for making the Valarian nectar is, but that's the special one for Spellcasters so it's worth a shoot to find Valarian root and make some!
I gotta say, and I’m sorry Kelsey, cause I know you’re liking it, but I am NOT vibing with Frederick. I mean, sure, they COULD get together, but you said it yourself, their flirting isn’t strong, he barely laughed at her jokes. They could be together but from what I’ve seen, it would be very deeply meh. I think you should gather your options (Gabriel, Frederick, the servant, and maybe more!) get to know them all as friends first, and then decide which one has the best compatibility with Kelsey, rather than jumping headfirst into the first romantic prospect she finds.

You should be able to turn off animal aging/death in settings!
Turn animal aging off in the Game Options Menu.
Menu - Game Options - Uncheck Animal Aging (at the very bottom) - Save Changes
It used to be under Pack Settings for Cottage Living, but they moved it to Game Options. Hope this helps, Kelsey. 😊❤

For getting rid of the Curse - There should be an aspiration point potion to take away the curse.
For making sure Belle keeps living - You can either create an anti-aging animal treat OR you can go into your settings to turn off animal aging. Your choice, the anti-aging treat is kind of annoying. I'd just personally turn off the animal aging setting.

Belle the chicken needs some ROMANCE. You can buy her a rooster so she can have babies and Briar's favorite friend will leave in her kids
You can build a very large home that is technically micro if you build it right. My eXtreme 100 Baby Challenge on my channel is in a very spacious ranch home but gets all the benefits of a 32 tile home.

Healthy treats extend their lives, the creature keeper and others give you things for doing jobs in finchwick, branblewood etc
If you draw the wall separately and move it into place it won’t count the space as a real room and won’t delete your plants or count to your house size!

Summon familiar before casting spells to protect briar
My work around for the weed bug is to delete the plant in build mode after I've harvested it then replant the crop because it will keep the current quality.
