I honestly think Goff could throw for 5,000 yds., 45 TDs, 70% comp., and lead the Lions to the Superbowl, and he wouldn't win MVP. There's a strong bias out there against the classic pocket passers anymore. It's ridiculous, but it's there.

I put down $100 at +3500 a few weeks ago for Goff as MVP. It is now +2500.
Crazy odds are Jamo for OPOY at +40000. Not likily, but not impossible. Gibbs at +3500 for OPOY is a better bet.

For Goff to win MVP he would have to throw 35+ TDs, less than 7 interceptions, and more than 4500+ yards. Impossible because of the RBs we have. They account for 20+ TDs rushing.

But you say it's impossible because the RBs we have, We had them last year. Put he put up close to your numbers you said he needed. LMFAO. @@stu_boogie2488 he didn’t win it last year, close enough doesn’t matter, either you win it or you don’t, with the RBs we have and the system we play in doesn’t allow for MVP type numbers unless we go 17-0 and then yeah give it to him. Until Ben Johnson system produce a MVP then I’ll continue to stay impossible

He would have to be at least third statistically. What makes a player the most valuable is not having the best stats alone.
