- The Detroit Lions have two players that are an unexpected surprise and making their teammates take notice. Levi Onwuzurike has one teammate saying he is about to earn a bag while another player nobody heard of until last week is ready to take a starting role.

Praying Levi has just been figuring out how to heal his back and now hes going full blast for a contract year, perfect timing
If Levi turns out to be a starting beast, the NFL is in deep shit this season…
When talking atarters. I think your first guy rotating in is a starter. McNeil and Reader are the starters. But Reader plays only about 50% of the time. McNeil 70%. So I count a least one ratational guy a starter
Then you have Paschal and Wingo that can play inside and out. Of course Hutchinson and Davenport can be too

At this point you have to think if Levi wanted 20M, even if he looked like Aaron Donald, you’d let him walk. If someone wants to pay him that much, the sample size is so limited there’s no way a sane team would do it. You can get a really good DT (alim) in rounds 3-4-5. You see 5 guys now, all drafted low, all fighting for playtime. Let him walk and draft another guy on day 2-3. Alim is the guy you need to keep.

He is the best of the 4, just the size isn't there for what you want at the 3. No doubt he will be used. Him and Goff have good chemistry.
Levi had all of the promise to be a awesome DT. As long as his back is healthy he is a Dawg

Because of his injury history i dont think its gonna matter if he plays that well hes not gonna get that max contract yet. Levi hasnt been out there enough. And teams will caution to that. But i hope he does have a great year
Well the thing with Fountain is he's been through three teams now and was being signed consistently to the practice squads. He was injured with the Colts then signed to the Chiefs which have a crowded receiver roster. Then he went over to the Bears and was also a practice squad guy - makes you wonder what he did with the Bears as at the time they didn't really have too many good receivers. Maybe he's in a better atmosphere which has allowed him to grow?

i think you are spot on regarding both players . I believe both Levi and Dourice are going to be the key for the Lions to obtain those extra advantages.

Levi's contract should be prorated to show how much time he missed cuz of injury and stuff but he still got paid he can't expect to get the top dollar right away show us more

And, has more success in the league ( In a shorter time span mind you.), than Darius Fountain. Or whatever his name is This Man .... (DPJ) Is from the City of Detroit, Cass Tech, U of M .... You think he not trying to make that spot his???
