@@natasapap7936 I was obsessed with vampire knight when I was like 12 tbh and I'm not proud to say this but I didn't hate yuki that much back then (but then again I was an emo pre teen myself so who was I to judge xD ) and I still read the vampire knight memories thing if I have nothing better to do and I kinda wanna know how a manga I've been reading since childhood ends ya know. but I can proudly say I've always hated Kaname and everything about his relationship with yuki so there is that. Nowadays I see how cringy the whole thing is of course and sometimes I catch myself wanting to rewatch it just for the laugh but then I just literally can't do it bc the cringe is too strong just thinking about what kind of lines I will have to listen to like damn somebody get this yuki girl a therapist

That is completely understandable, you were 12 year old after all, however it is obvious you have matured since then, I had my own obsessions when I was 12. You keep reading that manga it is OK to want to know how the story ends, you probably came very far with it, might as well finish it. I use to be obsessed with yu gi oh the original series when I was 12 and at some point i even developed a crush on the older yugi, looking back on it now all I can do is cover my eyes from that cringe and to my 12 year old self I can only say ,,this is why you didn't have a prom date" also I use to hate Seto Kaiba with a burning passion but now that I am a 28 year old adult myslef that has a job and responsibilities I completely understand the man, still think his attitude is shity and needs fixing but at the core I do understand his actions now.

Try Devil's line, it's a vampire anime but also a cop/detective anime, I really enjoyed it and the Love story between the 2 leads is way better then twilight

I don't remember much about vampire knight plot wise but i remember being hella confused about what the hell was going on and extremly pissed she didn't choose Zero to the point i dropped it came back and being even more confused than last time for damn near 13 years i forgot vampire knight even existed till now
no that was literally me and so i decided to get ALL the books (my MOTHER bought them for me 🫣) in hopes that she came to her senses and chose zero bc yuki girl wth are you doing but yeah safe to say i was traumatized and disappointed LOL

This anime is still oddly enjoyable to an extent. But I think my emotional attachment to the series, because I watched this when I was young and so its nostalgic for me, makes me enjoy watching it for the feels. Also, Zero was always my favourite, but I didn’t realise until I got older how much of a gaslighter Kaname was. I also never realised how truly terrible this is as an anime, its one of those things you thought was amazing when you were younger but once youre an adult you realise the weird shit you were into as a cringey teen wasnt that great.. But it’s something that I’ll always hold dear to my heart😂❤
