This woman is my hero. Unfortunately in another video her grandson said she passed away in 2018 I think it was. The world needs more passionate people like her that spread joy to everyone that comes across them. Hopefully she inspired that passion in many people's lives.
@@toidIllorTAmI asmr isnt only used for sleep dude. its nice to hear her speaking, bc her voice is naturally pleasant and melodic, while shes also doing some pretty neat visual tricks. its both the sound and visuals - and also her excitement to share this stuff with others. this is enjoyable in the first place and for that exact reason relaxing.
@@hannaschroederr ASMR is supposed to give a tingling sensation around the spine. It doesn't necessarily have to be spoken, but if it is, it has to be quiet.
What makes this so relaxing for me, is that just like The Joy of Painting, there is no background music, and it's someone, in extent, showing off a skill, a skill they themselves are so experienced and passionate about, and you end up learning a lesson in that craft yourself. It's real, and that's what makes it resonate with many of us I think.
Back when I had a Twitter account, she had followed me back for a while. Was pretty cool, she even said she was happy to know how much I love her videos. Which, I wholeheartedly love her videos. I absolutely love the passion she shows in very video!
This lady is the perfect example of how passion makes a person fun, interesting and/or mesmerizing. No matter how “important” or “cool” your hobby or conversation topic is, if you’re not excited about what you say, no one is gonna listen to you. This lady seems like a joy to be around. Way to turn something that seems boring at first glance into something everyone wants to try themselves.
this video, believe it or not, was the first ASMR experience i had! i was maybe 7 or 8 and i remember i would play this and i couldnt understand why i got goosebumps, but i enjoyed it a lot. so thanks to this lady for introducing me to the only other way i can sleep without using medication!!
The comments have made me aware this lovely woman is dead now but/and I still wanna have a stern word with her husband for telling her not to admire her work so much. If any husbands are reading this comment, don't dull your wives' excitement and pride!
i love this video so so much, literally could not stop smiling as soon as she started using the sponge. it's so lovely and adorable watching her pure enthusiasm and passion for making art with the sponge and it makes me so so SO happy!!!
I remember the good old 90s/2000s art supply infomercials! They were always solid gold. My favorite one (that I still look up on UA-cam today) was the Magic Bullet long-form infomercial. It transfixes me and makes me laugh and calms me/
I love how much detail she goes into. The enthusiasm she has is so inspiring and makes me want to start painting or doing some art. I love every part of this video and am so glad i finally decided to watch it after seeing it come into my recommended a few times.
This woman has ASMR superpowers. She's very enthusiastic so sometimes she leaves the ASMR wavelength, but it's worth waiting it out. A lot of the whisper/intentional ASMR videos don't do it for me. Good unintentional videos are few and far between but it's great to find them. 🙂
This brings back memories of simpler times, back when people actually lived life instead of experiencing it online. She really was ahead of her times though, she's an OG influencer! Not to mention she actually used the product and loved it. Influencers these days need to take some notes.
I absolutely adore people who are unabashedly enthused about niche hobbies. It’s just so pure. Ruth Goodman is the same, enthralled with domestic historical life
People need to stop insisting this isn’t asmr. My asmr is triggered by full volume good sounds, that’s why unintentional asmr is my fave category. It may not activate your asm response/fall into stereotype (if you don’t experience any), but some of us love it. Don’t yuck the yum.
Same!! I get the most ASMR from people talking at normal volume, and it's more from the things they're doing or the way they're acting rather than the sounds anyway. I hate when people comment on the rare louder videos that they need to be more quiet... like, there are a million other ASMRtists that talk quietly, just let me have this one😭
The way your comment essentially says "stop saying it isn't asmr!! It may not be asmr but I like it." sent me bc you started out so strong, and then at the end just elected to concede that it isn't asmr 😭 we all like it. It's like. Emotional asmr. It's soothing. It's definitely not asmr and the title is definitely click bait, but it's lovely and that's more than enough.
i remember watching this whole video when i was like 11 lol could not give less of a shit about the subject matter, but her passion is just so infectious

That’s exactly why it’s called unintentional asmr. It’s not intentional and it’s not every given moment

This was just the way husbands and wives used to talk about each other. There was a lot of mutual deprecation. It was always exaggerated.
Dee really sold me on the rainbow sponge. I'm only a few decades late lol
The glazed terracotta blocks would be her favorite in minecraft
