In 2019, at 15 years old, Marcus Morton released an album. On its face, this might not be that impressive. We’ve seen plenty of young vocalists before, but Marcus produced this project himself. And it sounds incredibly mature too, a word often used to describe him and his music. Within 3 years he would be rapping with Denzel Curry. Here’s how it all began.
Redveil was born in 2004 in Washington, D.C. and grew up in the DMV area. His brother introduced him to hip-hop when he was 11, and one of his first inspirations was the song Palace/Curse by The Internet, which led him to discover Tyler the Creator’s 2013 album Wolf. So in 2015, at 11 years old, veil started learning FL studio. Compared to most other DAWs, FL studio is affordable, accessible, powerful, and easy to learn, making it one of the best tools in human history for learning how to make music. The internet has made music production possible for anyone that has a computer, a good ear, and a drive to create, and redveil has taken full advantage of this. The average kid today has instant access to more samples than the most successful producers 50 years ago.

Isn't art insane, like art is something that comes from the person, something they like or WANT to make. In music its completely different, make something that will blow up, well I don't wanna do that, and neither do these up and coming artists. I love it so much and I cant wait for more music made with love and passion, like its their fucking child, I wanna see what YOU created.
