This video of you two made my day, and reminded me to stay positive which I have a hard time doing at times. Please do your best to ignore mean people.I am 68 years old and have never ever understood meaness.
My wife is quadriplegic as the result of a car accident in 1984 - we just celebrated our 30th anniversary this summer. Watching this young couple makes me smile - my hopes for them are for as rewarding a life as a married couple as my wife and I have been blessed with. God bless 🙂
Dunkleguy, wow, that is amazing. Kudos to you sir congratulations to you and your wife, as a disabled person who was born this way, this is a extremely beautiful video, I am so happy for Cole!
I'd disagree slightly on 'normal relationship' - it is very unusual to see so much mutual respect and such a deep connection between partners. I would call this an 'ideal relationship' instead... This really made me happy - diversity is indeed a blessing. Thank you for sharing your story guys! All the best
Why can’t it be a normal relationship? Please update me on what’s normal? Normal is what the couple or individuals feel comfortable with. I absolutely know this because I am married to a quadriplegic & we met when he was already injured. Our love is ‘normal’, actually probably better than other ‘normal people ‘. So, 42 yrs later, I can brag about our life , it IS NORMAL!😜👍🏻💥🤗 Wake up, humanity!🤓
@@jeanineberna8458 as i said, it looks way too good to be ’normal’ - that’s why i named it ideal. At least i would like people to see something like that when i and my spouse interact and look at each other.
@@TK-pm9mx I am sorry, I think I misunderstood your comment. However, we can ask, what are normal relationships? They’re normal to the ones experiencing it!
@@jeanineberna8458 Jeanine, no worries and thank you for your kind reply! Perhaps I also should be clear that in my opinion, disability definitely isn’t an obstacle for full, meaningful, compassionate and loving relationships.
My brother became a quadriplegic from the neck down at 26 yrs old and on a vent. (Bc his diaphragm was also paralyzed) I was his nurse and sister depending on the moment. When he saw this beautiful relationship, it gave him a lot of hope. They truly inspired him to want to try and live. He started doing much better after watching their channel. @R Voit- She was talking about a ventilator machine. Her brother couldn't breathe independently due to the severeness his spinal injury. That's why he needed a ventilator or vent to help him breathe.
Do not let ignorant people damage your relationship. I have been happily married to a ‘white man’ for 45 years! We have been racially slurred on many occasions, but LOVE prevails.

We don't fall in love with a body- we fall in love with a soul. And that's a good thing because our bodies are constantly changing as we grow older each day and at any time any one of us can have something happen that impacts our body and renders it different then it used to be. Cole and Charisma are two beautiful souls that fell in love. They both have such a beautiful humility about them it is a pleasure to see such a lovely, kind and caring relationship!
Charisma is so beautiful. Her and Cole's whole union is just absolutely beautiful, they both seem like amazing people. I wish them the best of everything!

How sweet...so glad that Cole and Carisma can have a dream marriage. Ive had Cerebral Palsy since birth and am 62. I have a wonderful caregiver and feiends. So thankful.
Even if she were his patient that's okay. My partner was my therapist at a rehab and we fell in love. We never dated until she no longer worked at that facility. We were essentially freinds for a year first. We celebrated 15 years together in March and I'm still as giddy as I was on our first date. We bought our first home her in Cali in 2014 and have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I struggle everyday, but her love has truly made it all worth it. I still struggle with the fact I have a disability and I don't tell anyone really....but I have love and my family. I have it all. Oh ya, she went on to get her LCSW and is a professor at a university and executive director of a wonderful non-profit serving impoverished women and children. She also created an art therapy class that should be in every school. She is the kindest person ever. In 15 years she has never been unkind to me. Never. I didn't even know that was humanly possible lol.

The very first thing I thought when I started watching this video was how cute they were and how hard it is to find a relationship like that. You can feel the looooove, the happiness, the willingness to be with each other. They made me feel happy just by looking at them.
The intersection between racism and ableism is sooo hard to talk about and process. I'm usually the only POC in a relationship, and the more disabled one, which makes it really hard to get my partners to understand all the aspects I'm battling. While it's hard for both of you, there's probably a good chance to both understand each other because you both have your own experiences with isms, and you're both feeling effects of both isms (so he is experiencing how racism effects you both, and she is experiencing how ableism effects you both), which is an important thing for your relationship. i'm so glad you're talking about this.

I have Followed Cole and Charisma for a long time and it bothers me that people are mean to you guys - especially racial slurs towards Charisma ! She is pure positivity and love ❤️
Thank you for addressing the issues you face because of racism as well as challenges of being in an interabled marriage. I once thought we lived somewhat in a post-rascist society. It is better to discuss the issue than to sweep it under the rug. Blessings to all of you!
OMG, this couple is so beautiful!🥰💕💕💕 You can feel their love when listening to them talk about each other. They're both inspiring individually and through their love 4 each other!❤❤❤❤❤❤

Such a sweet loving couple! So upbeat and optimistic. Charisma's lovely dimples and Cole's beautiful blue eyes. I wish you all the happiness you deserve...
What?! Charisma & Cole are on SBSK?! I'm loving this🥰....two of my favorite YT channels seriously! I love learning about this awesome couple and seeing a spotlight on OT...such important work.
I absolutely love your outlook on life, your attitude, your positivity. People can learn so much from you both. I wish you a long wonderful, beautiful, truly fulfilled and blessed life.
This is the embodiment of a couple glowing with the pure happiness of being in love with someone who loves you back as equally and fiercely. The look on each person’s face when they are speaking about the other is the type of genuine love everyone deserves to find. A truly beautiful and inspiring relationship- not because of the differences or challenges they face but because of the incredible mutual respect, admiration and love they openly and freely share with each other. So many people are afraid to be vulnerable or to give of themselves wholly in a relationship, afraid of being hurt but to develop a true, genuine bond requires that we take that risk. You can see that being together genuinely lifts both of them up and nourishes their souls. I’m shocked and dismayed that being an interracial couple is still an issue for some people in this day and age.
I watched this video several times. I really love how they are both honest and open about their life. I'm a subscriber to their channel and just enjoy watching their vlogs.
I LOVE what a variety of perspectives on disability the interviewees have in these videos. Some people DO have the "I can do anything" attitude, whereas Cole feels the need to have different expectations and not push himself too hard. This channel shows there's really no one way to be or talk about being disabled.
It's beautiful to see the way your eyes light up and the way you smile when you talk about how you met and fell in love. I watch those videos over and over.💞💙
Wow!- Cole, I was 🙏Praying for you hard at the time of your accident, when the goal was just for you to Survive such a bad accident!!.. (I lived in Richmond & would go to the trails on the James River every week!).. I'm so overjoyed that you met such an intelligent, very Uplifting, Beautiful Angel & Wife, & have had such a great, special, Blessed outcome!!-🙏
Thank you so much for your channel. You both are great. You hit it on the head about love. It is there or it isn’t. I am 79yrs young and have spent over 54 of them with my wonderful wife who is the love of my life. Based on what I see in your eyes when you look at each other I expect the same for you guys. You two have taught me a lot about excepting things I can’t change. In the last two yrs. my health is going into the basement, however I intend to stay positive. I may be in a wheelchair myself soon. I am learning from you guys what that may be like. Although there are so many things I used to do that now I can’t, the things I have learned from your channel lets me know I can still do things and not to feel sorry for myself. Let’s stay positive together. Don

I have Followed Cole and Charisma for a long time and it bothers me that people are mean to you guys - especially racial slurs towards Charisma ! She is pure positivity and love ❤️
I just loved this interview, Cole and Charisma are an absolute delight, …… just so beautiful …. The love truly shines through❤️…
Cutest couple ever!
I absolutely LOVE seeing the way they talk about each other and the way they talk WITH each other too, it's so beautiful!
Great interview
Charisma is beautiful inside and out 😊🤗
Thank you for addressing the issues you face because of racism as well as challenges of being in an interabled marriage.
I once thought we lived somewhat in a post-rascist society. It is better to discuss the issue than to sweep it under the rug. Blessings to all of you!
Thank you..
what a beautiful couple, you can see in their eyes how they love each other. god bless them
OMG, this couple is so beautiful!🥰💕💕💕 You can feel their love when listening to them talk about each other. They're both inspiring individually and through their love 4 each other!❤❤❤❤❤❤
So glad the comments are back!! I wanted to express just how cute this couple is when I first watched the interview. 💗
These two are SOOOO cute together!! Obviously perfect for each other. It's rare to see people so head over heels for each other! Just wonderful!!
I saw the beautiful wedding as of now. God is great. He is magnificent. The two of you are marvelous. You have his blessing in your life together. Congratulations on your union together. Continue loving one another. Jehovah God will continue blessing the two of you. Thumbs up 👍😻🤩💕🌹
I love how much they love each other and that Charisma is so loving when she helps her husband Cole.
People feel they can say anything because they are anonymous . It is so amazing to me to hear what is being said to you guys. Your life is so great sometimes i am jealous. Keep on doing what you do. Your love shines through.
Such a sweet loving couple! So upbeat and optimistic. Charisma's lovely dimples and Cole's beautiful blue eyes. I wish you all the happiness you deserve...
Thank you Cole and Charisma for sharing your relationship with us! Love you both!

this was such a sweet episode. he shared how people make assumptions but his life is fuller than he ever could have imagined.
This beautiful couple made me so happy and smile seeing the love they feel ...true soulmates ☺️🥰💗💕❤️
What?! Charisma & Cole are on SBSK?! I'm loving this🥰....two of my favorite YT channels seriously! I love learning about this awesome couple and seeing a spotlight on OT...such important work.
Awww what a beautiful love they share awwww it's awesome
The deep acceptance and love from Cole has moved me to tears ! 🥰🙏
❤❤
I follow this couple and they make me smile. I always feel inspired after watching them.
I'm so happy she addressed the race issue. Sad it happens.
I watched this video several times. I really love how they are both honest and open about their life. I'm a subscriber to their channel and just enjoy watching their vlogs.
I'm so glad he found her to be the most important part of his life ! ❤❤❤❤❤
I watch those videos over and over.💞💙
they are so sweet, what he have endured and the way he had come out of it is just amazing
She’s so animated happy… animated… good4her gd luck to both x
Out of a terrible accident, came a greater good 😌 special people, very special!
Don
Thank you! I’m 79 and I never met anyone that wanted to marry me. You give me hope😢
