I watched this video all the way through! I'm so fascinated by your voice, techniques, and the way you've sewn this corset. Just subscribed. Thank you for sharing :))))
This was so beautiful. The music was perfect, your narration was spot on, and oh my gosh, the corset is absolutely stunning. Thank you for taking us through the whole process so concisely.
Gorgeous Queen of Heats ♥️corset 😍 I would like to recommend a quilters needle pull that one wears like a ring. These are great for eliminating the need for pliers.
i was thinking about buying this corset pattern already as i've become invested in historical clothes, but jesus mothereffing christ. i needso much more experience before i can even try something like this!
Wow! That turned out beautiful! Also this video was very informative and helpful…it definitely made the whole process seem less daunting for anyone less experienced at corset making.
Wowzers this corset is awesome!Thank you for such an informative video! Im disabled & want to maake corsets for mmyself as support & gorgeousness! I also want to make it for ottherr disabled gals! Thank you 😊 ❤
I do not usually glue interface for historical corsets, because it is not period correct. But, oh man, sewing silk sateen corsets is really hard, they come with tons of wrinkle unless it is a sturdy firm thick fabric 🥺
I am historically inspired, but not constrained to historical techniques and will gladly embrace things which make life easier and the final garment nicer! 😊
Incredibly beautiful!!! What a work of art! Thank you for your clear, wonderful instructions. I feel like I could now attempt a corset with your help 😊
this corset was absolutely stunning! You did an amazing job. I am definitely going to try using fusible interfacing on my future corsets, that technique is ingenious!
Hello again I try to find the doubles side interfacing but I cannot found in my local fabric store . May I ask for the name of the brand of you double side interface please 🙏 Thank you 😊
Thank you! No, I find it light and comfortable. In total it weighs 460 grams, but that's distributed and you don't really notice the weight. There are different sorts of bonding out there and some are better than others. The one I use is Vliesofix Bondaweb and I really like it. Nice and smooth, without being as "cardboardy" as some others.
It can be indeed tricky to source. It often has coutil in the name, with another descriptor, such as rosebud coutil, sateen coutil, small herringbone coutil. There is also broche, such as spot broche. Best of luck with your fabric hunt!
The whole corset is a certain something special in my eyes; wow! 🤩

That 'stitch in the ditch' technique is something that has always eluded me!
This was so informative! Busks always slip out when I'm sewing, threading through boning is so revolutionary! Thank you!

Certainly! I use Bondaweb (English name), which is known as Vliesofix in most other languages, from the brand Vlieseline. Hope that helps!
@@CrystalPegasusCostumes thank you kindly for the quick reply 🥰
Beautifully completed, is it rather heavy and stiff due to the amount of fabric? I tried the bonding once and found it heavy.

Hi, I'm trying to look for coutil fabric, is there other names for it?
