I have one 2017 since new, never failed nor had any issues. Living in Sweden so i put it through some winter adventures too. i recommend a hood on the bed instad of a liner though, (same for the L200/triton) for the risk of getting dirt/water trapped under the liner. EDIT: (only difference is the tag in the front, steeringwheel and the tail gate)
I'm looking for a new car. This is top of my list...BUT. I've had 2 over the past few years. The Automatic was glorious EXCEPT towing. I pull 3.5ton regularly and the L2000 Auto transmission would overheat on inclines very quickly and go into limp. NOT good with a clients horses in the trailer. As it was only when towing a heavy load the warrantee was invalid??????? and could only be fixed wit a £1500 modification. HAS THIS BEEN ADDRESSED??
@@MikeDuffy-fp4zy Possibly a bigger radiator fan. I had this done in my 5 series BMW when I installed a towing hook. The dealership said it needed a beefier fan because towing makes the transmission hotter.
Would you recommend the Auto for someone like me who doesn't intend to tow anything at all.? I'll have the Hardtop, and an additional bigger size tank fitted to it though.
