Hey everyone, here's this week's bonus video! Let us know what you think of the table legs and the copper table!
purrito Joe lol nice shirt bro lmao
The copper looked great. I think a darker wood would be a nice contrast
Like how Blacktail Studios uses black epoxy with walnut, looks killer.
Exactly what I was thinking.
i use copper epoxy to fill in any cracks or voids when i'm working with walnut. i like the color mix.
nice job as always!
Hi Dillan the coffee table is beautiful. I love the copper table it is awesome 👏.Hope you all are doing good today.God bless you all.
Thank you Jean, hope you're doing good as well!
I LOVE the copper pour! Love seeing different colors like that.
The table turn out awesome, wow. I like the copper pour thats a great look and can't wait to see the final product...
Love the coffee table with resin legs. Wish I lived nearer. I think the copper will turn out lovely.
Thanks Debbie!!
Copper looks good Dylan
Love the cooper, it looks fantastic. I cannot wait to see it finished.
Us either!
I like the copper . It’s looks really good
The copper looks beautiful! Can't wait to see the finished product!! :)
The copper pour certainly looked really good as it was going in. Awaiting the final outcome with interest!
The copper piece looks amazing, can't wait to see it finished!
Us either!
Love the copper color and it would be just as awesome as a darker shade of copper.
Really like the copper, it looks beautiful! I think metallic pigments can sometimes look better when they're more concentrated but I can't wait to see this sanded! Thanks so much for the extra video!
I like before I watch it 😁 - the copper pour - loved it! 👍
Copper pour is just amazing
Thanks Abhijeet!
That copper coloured epoxy filler is gorgeous
Awesome table legs❗❗❗ Great video! Thanks for sharing❗❗❗ 🙂🙂🙂 👍👍👍
Thanks Ken!
Both of those pours were incredible!!!!
Thank you Jade!!!
Just wanted to say ty for the extra content. I really enjoyed the leg explanation. I like the Copper.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!!
I love watching everyone of these videos! Keep up the good work! Got a nice laugh at you trying to hit the blocks at him😂. Love the chemistry between everyone
Hahaha thanks Austin! Glad we could make you laugh!
This info is gold, I was thinking of this exact process for legs. Thanks for sharing this and as always you guys rock
Thank you!!!
the copper looks great
Love the coffee table, and the copper pour
That looks fun. I know theres work to it as well but looks fun. You guys do a amazing job.
That copper looks amazing, great video as usual.
Thank you!!
The copper pour looks great.
Absolutely amazing craftsmanship. Love your videos.
Thanks so much Thomas!!
Thanks for the great content. Another outstanding video. The copper tinted epoxy looks fantastic.
Thank you so much!!!
Awesome, I like the copper, something different. It should look great finished with that burl.
Hey Dylan,
I'm so impressed at how you adapt and develop to make new and creative items, eg the epoxy table legs. That coffee table came up looking stunning!
The copper pour at the end is growing on me too!
Well done.
Thanks Carleen!! 😁😁
I like the copper, and also appreciate the video! 👍 thanks!
Love that copper color!
New life goal, saving up for my own coffee table ! Love the copper !
The table legs look great nice to see the extra content. Would love to see the other side of the copper pour
We'll show more of the copper table either this Friday or the one after!!
Beautiful table!!!
It really is!
copper is a great mix when done right
Copper is the New Black freaking amazing dude
Copper looks coooool!
Thanks Eddie!
Loving your work. The Ooznest workbee and SIP 01446 I assembled over Christmas are 2000 miles back in the UK. Sad. Your videos are inspiring, can't wait to get back in the workshop and get my jesus on
I personally will have to wait for the finished table to say if I'm a fan of the Cooper but right now I'm not too sure because I thought it blended in way too much. Not I want to see the finished table before firmly committing either way. Also know that I wasn't a fan of the red Pour you did on the Full Send Table so that might be why. Still, I didn't think I would like the grey and I do, it just had to grow on me. Thanks again for the extra video! You guys rock as always!
Beautiful work as always
The copper looks nice
Especially in the right coordinated room
I know you folks have recently been buying resin in larger amounts
Was wondering
When you mix your pours in the 5gal buckets
Why not slap a lid on them
Use a small transfer pump n hose from the buckets much easier
Just a thought
just started watching. Love the epoxy results.
Thanks for watching!
Copper looked awesome
I really liked this weeks video. The copper pour was especially cool. If I were to do anything different, maybe make it a bit less “coppery”. Like more translucent. Thanks a ton. Truly inspirational.
COPPER ROCKS!!!!
thanks for sharing!! definitely want to get a couple trays!! Great video work and presentation on your videos!
Thanks for watching and commenting!!
No worry about expansion and contraction with the inserts? Great job
Amazing stuff guys
The copper looks nice, might thing about adding bits of scrap copper to the middle of it as a two layer pour some time.
Is Jo sick, he did not try to distract you. Like the copper but it might look better with a more contrasting wood like the dark walnut. Thank you for the bonus.
I love the coffee table, the legs are awesome. The finished product is really good. The design is beautiful ,simple is often best as we see here.
I will reserve judgement on the copper pour, at the moment the colouring is too close, not enough contrast between the resin and the timber
Thanks for another great vid. Cheers.
It looks like there's not enough contrast in the copper pour.. I did enjoy the look of those epoxy legs!! Superb
that copper table is very nice
Copper with a bit of black is amazing as well. Test it out on a scrap pour !
I think if you mix some black pigment will get more beautiful effect, btw it is awsome work.
You guys are just awesome....always🤩
Thanks Josie!!!!
Wicked cool table guys
Thanks Hayden!
LOVE the copper pour. I think a darker wood with the copper would’ve been better.
That coffee table is awsome I can't wait to finished my walnut coffee river table but gotta save up for the epoxy that stuff is expensive as heck
I like the copper! I think a darker wood would make it really pop!!! Also with a black or dark gray epoxy pour, copper highlights might be very good looking....maybe do an experimental piece or just some coasters?? Love the channel!!!!
i will have too wait to see the finished result to see if I like it, it one of those, you do, or you don't see you Friday
Videos are awesome. Can you put a link to the epoxy hardness measuring gauge from part 1 please. Thanks.
Copper looks great, would like to see it contrasting dark walnut.
Beautiful! Just got a new subscriber 😊
It does look awesome. You ought to produce extras and just market them "as is".
Wow so cool. Can you show us how you did the threaded inserts???
Love your videos. I think the copper will look good once it's completed. I saw that you only put the dominos and threaded inserts in the wood portion and I didn't what type polish you were using.thanks for the info
Im excited to see the copper pour finished! What leg type are you leaning towards? I think brass could accent the copper well. Thanks for the bonus content! Love your work
The copper piece is just an art piece so it won't have legs, but brass would look really nice! And thanks so much!
copper looks good. I think you lose a little bit of the graining of the wood though(not enough contrast). Maybe adding some aqua(if available) next time might give you a patina effect? Love your videos!
I’m waiting for that phone to end up in the epoxy while he is filming the pour... ☝️ lol
Haha hopefully that never happens!
You guys are awesome.
That’s awesome. Can you pls advise what’s a good mold release to use?
I honestly think the copper pour is pretty dope! I wonder what it would look like with a touch of teal to make a rusting copper look? You know, maybe some teal veins in it or something.
Really like the copper. Do you reuse the tape covered side boards or do you start over with new? Thanks
We reuse them over and over, replacing the tape when needed!
Even though I am a fan of dark blues and greens, I really want to see the finished copper pour.
We'll show it when it's finished for sure!
Copper pour really nice. Perhaps let it set up a little and drizzle in cobalt blue. Is Tuck Tape used for other things?
The copper looks pretty good, i'm just predisposed to liking it to be opaque. To be fair though, I'be done the opaque effect on MUCH smaller pieces. Still like the way yours came out though
please show us the finished copper poor, I love the color, and would love to see it done.
It's not done yet, we will when it is though!
Hey, guys! For the legs, I'm surprised you didn't make a form like a bunt cake pan (except square, of course) and just mould a single, solid leg. Just a thought. Also, how do you never have bubbles in your epoxy or get cracks with such deep pours? Curious. Thanks.
I want to see it after machining. Is the new show room expansion open yet?
We will show it either this Friday or next!
And not yet, we are in the middle of tearing down the walls which we will show in tomorrow's video!
I definitely see this style of the epoxy legs going big from this video on. I appreciate you mentioning that you sanded the inside of the legs before putting together, definitely saves a lot of time. I would like if you guys went more into detail of measurements say of what size legs you are going for or what size scrap would work, in metric 👍
Love the videos by the way, great stuff guys. Brad should’ve given that table a bit more appreciation too.
What do you guys use to adhere the frame of the mold to the base? I don’t see anyone pulling screws from under and I don’t see any leaked pours either?
Thanks Joe! Glad that detail helped you out! We'll explain more in our future videos 👍
That sander ❤️❤️👌
Good job boys... i want to see a Gold pour
That would be cool! Maybe in the future!
Those table legs look amazing! Would you do that for a dining room table size, or is that usually just metal legs?
If a customer wants these legs with their dining table yes!
Nice Legs !!!!! what finish did you use?
That’s awesome! What type of screws / inserts were used to secure the legs to the table top?
I really liked the first table with that blue. What is the name of blue powder that you used?
The copper one when you mixed it looked pretty sweet but when on the table I felt that the color of the wood and epoxy was very similar so it made it invisible. Maybe with a darker wood the copper would look better.
You guys are beasts!
May I ask, did you ever show the copper piece finished? I would really like to see the end product please.
Do you think that it would be possible to pour the legs in one cast in a rectangle shape and still have the same tensile strength? Do like the outcome of the, I believe you called it a mistake in a previous video, legs and how well they compliment the top. Excellent job. You mentioned in a previous video that you might show the progress of the extra building - how is that coming? Curious to know of the added area. Stay safe
Excellent just Subscribed!
Thanks for subscribing!
Hi guys. My name is Cheryl Kendall and I'm from Australia. I'm a hobbyist and was wondering if I can make a coffee table using the same pattern as the one that you made with the timber apoxy legs. I'm asking so I don't encroach on copyright if you have that on your furniture. All your furniture is totally awesome and I hope I can make you proud with my attempts of furniture similar to yours. I really enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing more videos soon. Kindest regards Cheryl.
beautiful
You should weigh out the pigment instead of a measuring spoon. It will always compact and never be the same
Did you use the copper from Black Diamond and the Ecopoxy Coral? I use that combo and it goes really well with Olivewood, so I can just imagine it will turn out amazing. Looking forward to seeing it! Also, agree on the time saving; even for a small shop it's just not worth it for me to nickle and dime to save a bit of money. Time is valuable, and I'd probably just buy Iced Capps with the savings anyways.
Hey there love the vids, new to your channel. I notice you folks don't preseal the edges, do you have any air bubble issues with air seeping out of the edges while the epoxy hardens?
Copper will look awesome if it has metallic swirls and some transparency in it? If it’s almost solid could be a little heavy visually!
It does have metallic swirls and some transparency to it 👍
Black Forest Wood Co. then looking forward to seeing it on Friday..?
What type of resin do you use. Great videos
We used our Black Forest Deep resin on this! And thanks so much!
How much did this one sell for? I love it, excellent work!
