Im sure you have already heard or seen it in the comments but this video os 100% useless . I actually have had several people bring completely destroyed engines because they used your video on how to adjust your 49cc Chinese moped valve train . I should probably be thanking you because your vidoe has put money in my pocket more than a few time , so , Thank you ! If you are still posting videos , or planning to post more , maybe you should hire an editor or let someone attempt to do what your subject is pertaining to , this way you get real world feedback , in real time or maybe make yourself a step list , a detailed step list , then go and prepare your work area , ex: Lighting , camera position , neatness , accurately chosen tools and or accessories . I was told by a very seasoned aircraft mechanic who retired from the USAF after already being a multiilloonaire for close to 20 years ( so i trust he knows what hes is doing when it comes to wrenching on about anything . Presentstion to the public is important . Tooling : having adequate and correct tools for the job . Sockets , extensions , universals , high ratio wratchets , especially on anything 1/4 inch drive does not need an impact to loosen or totque anything , Especially on any of this Chinese or Korean made emgines . Everything from the engine blocks , to the parts inside them , the nuts , bolts , screws , lock washers are all made from cheaper , inferior processed , and manufactuered steel and aluminum unless you want to do some drilling , tapping , and rethreading . Cordless impacts are a NO NO ! The erong person with a cordless impact driver can really end up costing himself more headaches and more aggrevation and discouragement than the entire job was worth to begin with . This is just a few things i picked up right off rhe top and thought that rather than pointing out what you didnt do in the video , because im sure you already know , but to share a few good things that would make your tech videos of anything , just a bit better . One last thing , valves in a Chines MOPED engine do not make the same clattering , clicking , or knocking noise that they were making when the thing was brought to you and when adjusting the valves do it on a cold engine , check the previously set adjustments and if the drag on your feeler is loose , try another feeler either up or down in thickness and note this when you adjust them , make sure you are not putting pressure on the rocker arm because this will setnyou up for bent rods , valves , holes in your heads . Take the noted lash adjustment and adjust the valves based on how much drag you feel when checked first , if there is an obvious looser feel then take the first number on the intake side and jump up to the next feeler , if it fits and has the right drag feel then then note the feeler guage size and go to the exhaust side and repeat . Now you have a beginning , or a control parameter that you can go by Ó⁰
Hello, that is the normal sound of the engine? It still has a knocking sound just like mine and I heard at another scooter same engine, the sound was without the metal knocking...
They should have a slight tick . That is the valve clearance . If no tick the valves are too tight . Honda motors especially the 400cc atvs have a much louder tick because of bigger valve clearances . Perfectly normal . That is the .05-.06 clearance on the exhaust valve .
Great and informative. Thank you. However you skipped the part of how to put the feelers in there, and went to the cover being put back on.
exactly, showed us how to get to them didn't show us how to adjust them 😭
I didn't see anything about adjusting the valves. Is this all about the fly wheel?

@@toddrapp7904 thanks!
Step by step? You left the actual valve adjustment out! Wasn,t that the point of this video...anybody can just remove and replace covers/screws ect..
How many mm inlet and exhaust
He told it. Listen
I always set them at .004 and .006 -7
You didn't show the adjustment you just showed how to take the cover off wast of time
