This is just so beautiful. And sad, if I think it's been already 12 years and none of these gents play anymore (mostly). Still, it's beautiful. These legendary players, probably the best ever in modern rugby playing and laughing like kids. Just freaking beautiful! #LoveRugby
LOL I thought the same thing. They look like they're having so much fun! I love the way Joe is laughing his head off! But I think the ad needs more Nonu...my life in general needs more Nonu!
This is the greatest Rugby Advert ever. I'm tired of all the "Stand up!", "Together we can.", "Power, Sacrifice, Detemination" generic bullshit advertisers do now.
i love that rugby players can do this type of stuff with other teams and not have any competition between them. where as football players wouldnt evan think about doing this together.
So true...some people called it barbourdoor and it was great fun,but if someone did bring a rugby ball we used to play "force back" or if a tennis ball was handy wed play "poisonous ball"...ahhhh memories.
Bascially, if you can tackled, you become 'in' as well. So the next round, you help tackle the remaining players. Game goes on till the last man standing. In this ad, no one has won yet.
or just the overall passion for the game, Samoa learned to hit harder, Wales learned to dodge better but the passion for the game is better in New Zealand than most places on earth... that is why
As an 8 y.o there wasn't anything quite like standing with 2 or 3 good mates against 20 other with the sole purpose of putting as many of them on the ground as quickly as possible. Thinkings about it at 30 y.o it still doesn't get much better ;)
When he's running up the touchline? He looks like a chicken or something! Or remember when you were a kid and you'd look at your feet and concentrate on running fast i'd say thats what he's doing.... power running! LOL.
Bull rush. We learnt to hit harder and dodge better than the rest. Two of the dozen reasons we remain by far the worlds top national rugby squad. Not being cocky, just stating a fact you stas guru's
@lostandconfused3 of course its choreographed: no one's wearing gumshields! lol but man TBF, nothing wrong with a chest high tackle when ur as good a tackler as most of these guys are. top players try to stop u successfully offloading the ball whenever there is the oppertunity, i.e. chest high tackles and wrap arms around arms. Its the likes of me (a social player) who need to go low to make sure they bring the man down.
HAHAHAHAha the dude hiding behind the flood lamp...HAHAHA

It should be a harsh lesson to the Lions and Eng, Ire, Sco, and wales that almost all the best tackles in this are made by kiwis. Cool vid though
