I loved Brandon Lee as the crow & no one will ever replace him. What people seemed to forget is that the original Crow looks more like this version, vs the version Brandon played. Before the movie was made with Brandon, there was this thing called comic books. The Crow was first published in 1989 through indie publisher Caliber Press, with the original series running for just four issues, written and drawn by James O'Barr. Facts. Look at the original & tell me if it looks like Brandon or the new version. We just love Brandon and the Lee family more. Facts.
I can’t wait for this man’s iteration of his own take on Eric Draven from the comics. Yeh The Crow will always be a classic and will always be Brandon Lee but it wasn’t the comics and I’m so pumped to see what Bill has cooked up for this character and what he brings to the table he is a very talented actor. Yes Brandon Lee died making The Crow and yes he did leave a legacy behind that is hard to convince other audiences to have other people be Eric Draven because he died as Eric Draven. But don’t trash on the man’s legacy and not see the movie just because another man is trying to do right by another dead man. Just see the movie and if it’s shit like Crow Salvation or Wicked Prayer then speak out but please just honor Brandon by seeing it. This goes out to all the haters thinking he’s a Jared Leto joker ripoff.

The makeup is all I can say.. but Skarsgard is great in horror.
A lot of haters on this. The same crowd from when City Of Angels came out. It was a box office hit. Grossed its budget back opening weekend. Went on to gross another 12 million in profit. Best of the past sequels. I think this is going to be better than it was. And it will gross its budget back quickly and go on to be a proper successful follow up film. This doesnt hurt Lees legacy or disrespect it. It keeps the franchise alive his sacrifice created.
Why do you assume it’s the same crowd? The Brandon Lee movie has been building its status as a cult classic for a long time.
Agreed. I see so many people that are saying that this movie is an afront to Brandon Lees version. Its not.
This was based on a graphic novel. Many many films based off of graphic novels take some artistic, aethetic, and directive liberties. Some for the better and some for the worse. I see no indication that this movie will bad at all. People need to stop huffing the memberberries and let things stand on their own two feet, as long as they dont directly disrespect the source material.

Sorry but I don't agree his not the perfect person for the role. They should have left Eric Dravens story alone, There are other crows he could have played. But This belongs to Brandon Lee's legacy and should have been not done because he died for this film.

he looks alot closer to the actual character in the comic book imo but the movie seems to be incorporating a few diff ideas from the movies as well as the tv series maybe

Auto tune at end of trailer should tell you everything you need to know. I hope the actual movie captures the actual whole point of the crow which is arguably TRAGEDY. This trailer doesn’t cry out that at all. This is trying way to hard to be cool.
