I will show you how to convert Tamiya TT-01 chassis into an rwd drift car with a simple task.
There is no need for CNC machining, but 3D printing is required.
Stage-1 is a concept that uses many parts of TT-01 chassis at low cost.
In Stage 2, I will plan to prepare a more upgraded version.

@@18kingen I have been too tied up with 1/24 builds to get to it. There's one guy who's done a bellcrank conversion and his design is not the greatest but a good proof of concept. He retained stock suspension geometry and knuckles. He gets a decent angle but not parallel Ackerman.

@@een-stoom-liefhebber The parts are superb! i even did some jumps with them on skate parks, parts were printed in PETG. Really would recommend anyone with a tt01 and 3d printer to do this.
Heres the kicker, i didnt have a pinion for the motor that would fit a TT01 is i grabbed one of a stl repository and printed one in PETG, and it actually ate the stock TT01 spur hahaha, so the car hasnt moved alot since :D I tried to make a kit that would fit my TRF415MS but i havent messed around with it for a while.
I bought the "Tamiya TT01 RWD drift car conversion kit with interior parts" but it does not have the file for the caps. 9:03

@@zeusgarage4368 I needed is asap so I bought both of the build files. In the first one (without interior) I found the caps.
I hope you can sell the whole angle kit for this tt01 including all the hardware.

Excluding tt01 genuine parts......... 3mm shafts(lenth 38mm):4pcs, ballend cap/ball:8set, m3 bolt(lenth 18mm):10pcs, dampers(optional):4pcs. Thank you.

yeah, they're the same thing, the only difference is the top deck, and from what they advertise, "a lower center of gravity" but I don't think that's true.

Hey i have ordered the bearings along with some other parts ready to install this upgrade. I was just wondering if it would still work without changing front and back dampers? Also is the servo upgrade 100% necessary? Thank you
The most important thing in the drift setting is to use a high speed servo. Otherwise, vibration will occur when using a gyro. And changing to soft dampers helps side sliding.☺
@@zeusgarage4368 Thanks for the speedy reply, I don't intend to install gyro right now but I should probably look into an improved servo then. Purchasing you tt-01 files later. Is there a link to your k969/k989 files also?
