The reason the pink house riddle was so confusing is because they straight up said the riddle wrong. It’s usually “In a one story house the walls are pink. The couch is pink. The floors are pink. The cupboards are pink. What color are the stairs?” (The things described as pink will differ) There is no implication that you turn a corner and find stairs and there is never a mention of a second story. It’s presented as more of a hypothetical than a “oh you see stairs.”
I’ve never seen someone mess up a riddle so badly 😂

The dumbest thing about these is that one "riddle" needs you to look at the graphics and use those to get the answer (the hat on the lake) but then others need you to completely ignore the graphics (the driving at night onel)
Classic "your on a small island when two phoenixes start fighting but you can't swim away because of the kraken" riddle.

The first time I heard the "one story house" riddle, it was told to me by my friend from England in 3rd grade (I'm from the U.S.). She had just recently moved here. When she told it to me, she called the house a "bungalow." So when it was revealed that there were no stairs, I was like, "how was I supposed to know that" and she was like "it's a bungalow" and I was like "what's a bungalow."
I did not even realize how many quiz channels there actually were. I'm scared.
I was expecting the "three cents" riddle to be "two cents and a weird smell" 💀

I just wanna say something about the airplane thing: if you jump out of a parked plane you will still get injured, there's a reason why you use stairs to get off the plane or corridors and stuff.
Why would the sphinx care or know how English words are spelled? I know it's already a fictional situation, but still, that bothers me.
Also:

That's the kind of logic these puzzles have. Just adding extra info in the answer.

These riddles are exactly like the brainteasers my older brother used to pull out of his puzzle books during car rides when we were kids - a lot of wordplay, a sometimes frustrating amount of out of the box thinking, and scenarios that give you a super specific but seemingly minor piece of information at the start of the story and drag on just long enough to distract you at their conclusion. I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with them, but sometimes they're fun! XD
The problem with a lot of these riddles is they are actually very old and good ones, but the narration is said incorrectly, like with the house one, the driving down the road one etc. That's what's so frustrating!
The half sea half land was so funny because it wasnt even a riddle, it was just a schedule
I thought the sailor would do something like subtract all the time he'd been sailing from his overall lifetime, and then he'd know how much longer he'd have left on land. Like if he was 60, but became a sailor when he was 20, then he'd have spent 30 years at sea but only 20 on land, so he'd know he'd have 10 more years of living on land.

The one-story house can definitely have pink stairs. There could be a dollhouse or stairs in a painting on the wall.

"No one said..." yeah, but even WHEN he said, it turned out not to be true! In the last one, for example, he said: "the moon and stars aren't visible because of the clouds" and later "the moon isn't visible" or whatever, but the stars aren't visible BECAUSE it's daytime, not because of clouds! Plus, the moon can still be visible during the day...
It's fine to have a "think outside the box" answer, but a) that doesn't work with multiple choice, b) we rely on what they tell us to answer the question, but we have an unreliable narrator, c) we rely on information we don't have and d) it's so far out the box, it's ridiculous! For example: How did the guy eat the food (question 1): he had a key! He was a vampire, turned into a bat and flew out between the bars! He's a ghost! (Last question) how did we see the woman in black? We didn't, because she was a ghost / demon! There's just no way to know. Actually, all can be answered by being / seeing a ghost...
It's not so much riddles, as "Hey, here's a dumb question! Can you find the dumbest answer?"... Which is fine, but don't call it a riddle. Too bad really, because the set ups were epic.

None of these riddles make sense like at all for example at 11:16 the answer is the poisonous lake is frozen but it’s POISONOUS just don’t drink it and as long as you don’t have any open cuts you’ll be fine and that would have been an answer thousands of times better than “its frozen” he’s also constantly saying the complete opposite of what he said 10 seconds ago which is really confusing like at 17:34 he says the headlights are on but literally 10 seconds later he says the headlights are off
