That guitar is Kita Ikuyo's guitar from the anime "Bocchi The Rock". I want one so bad

Even though it is stated as Gibson Rick Beato signature guitar, i always thought this one suits her better. Kita chan is a beginner so Harley Benton is definitely the one that came in my mind

Harley Bentons are great mod platforms

I wholeheartedly agree. They're such a good starting point for just adding slightly better hardware or just tweaking them without having to be scared to mess up as opposed to having a super expensive guitar and messing that one up.

I don't think that a GFS pickup is going to be an upgrade; something different, maybe, but in my experience their stuff is vastly overrated. The pickups in these HB Jrs seem to be one of the best things about them. Anyway, by now you should have received your pickup and tried it out; how did it do?

I'll never understand why a grown man would buy a $200 Chinese piece of crap and put another $500 into it and it still being worth $200. When you could buy a used gibson for $800 to $900.

LOL, I've heard so many stories of people doing upgrades on guitars like Harley Benton or Firefly and NOBODY has ever spent anywhere close to $500. LMAO! Let's say you go completely hog wild and replace just about everything- pick up, bridge, tuners, nut. There are amazing, brand name pickups under $100. You can get an actual decent bridge with rolling saddles for like 20 bucks. You can get a graphite nut for 15 or $20. How about a set of Grovers for a hundred buck? Okay, now we're up to less than half the amount you stated and that's doing everything one might have to do. Nobody is refretting one of these things. I have a Firefly SG copy. When I got it, it needed a truss rod tweak (free 😂), it had trouble staying in tune, and that's about it. Pickups actually sound great. So I put a used set Grovers on it I got for 50 bucks, the bridge was $14, and instead of not being bright enough to realize you don't need a new nut like the guy in this video, I just did some very light filing to widen a couple of the slots in the bone nut that came with the guitar. Now it stays in tune like a champ, has buttery action, and would be a nice guitar if it were $600-800. My grand total expenditure: $64. But yeah, I get it- Blowing the cost to upgrade one of these things way out of proportion helps you make your dumb point. 🙄

@@TimmyAndTammyScumbag if your buying pickups, and tuners for under $100 and bridge for $25 you might as well keep the China junk that's already on it..

I wouldn't even buy a used Gibson at $800 or $900. I would just buy a made in Japan Ibanez or LTD 1000 series at that price point used.

Used gibson for $800 to $900? Not everywhere my dude, in my country, used gibson les paul jr start at, at least, $1250 and that's if you find a cheap one, normally they sell at $1500 or more, while harley bentons here sell at $400, so yeah you can buy at least 3 harley bentons for the price of a Gibson, and mods aren't that expensive

I’ll never understand why a grown man would make this comment or even care how another grown man decides to spend his money. I’ve played some really good Gibsons in the past but I’ve also played some pretty crappy ones. I’ve also played some really good Harley Benton’s. I’ve seen great guitar players make cheap guitars sound great and I’ve seen mediocre guitar players make great expensive guitars sound mediocre. In the end the guitar itself is just a tool and if you’re getting what you want out of it then it shouldn’t matter what name is on the headstock or where it was built.✌🏼
