Heartbreaking. When we moved here in 1968 the beaches were wide open. No condo's. They ruined all of the beaches from Clearwater to Pass-a-Grill from over- building. Praying for all the people who lost everything. Build affordable housing but off of the beaches.
Yes...born and raised here 1966. I met my now wife of 36 years on Clearwater Beach. Was so nice for the locals back then. Before they made it a tourist destination. Sad to see what it's become.
20 years ago my husband and I used to go and sit in an outdoor restaurant and watch the sunset. But that building is not there. Was replaced. Last time we tried to go we couldn’t find a parking space. But it will always be a special place.
You would be surprised, a hurricane like this just brings money into the local economy, all those small businesses going to make a killing in the next couple months, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Walmart they going to sell like never before. It’s weird I know but it’s 100% fact. This is the time to own a skid steer 😂
@@deathnsd6953 I feel sad about it too. My husband and I spent our first weekend there so it is a special place. When I go out to the coast I go to Fort De Soto park. It’s a stunning place but now we have to wait awhile.
We all went thru hell when that storm passed. I lost two cars myself due to the storm surge. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has to rebuild and has lost everything. At least we have our lives.
To those that worried about beach erosion. I think nature gave the sand back. Growing up in that area I know the effects of all that damage. I wish you all a speedy recovery and getting back to normal and with improvement.
Heels Up has done so many great things for Americans! I just can't think of anything right now. BUT, here's some things she hasn't done: lower grocery costs, lower gas costs, lower rent costs, lowered taxes, secured America's borders, helped bring peace to two wars, lowered murders, rapes or thefts in America
TEARS OF SORROW 2024!! The storms of life come to everyone There are none who are immune. Some approach in our later years While others come too soon. Helene hit like an atom bomb Consuming the helpless in its path. The waters of the deep surged forth Flooding everything with their wrath. Conviction is our emotional union As we weather the storms of Earth. Thank God for His amazing grace Which helps us reveal our worth. Time wipes tears from all faces Whose hearts are tuned to sorrow. Those that cry a thousand tears Shall be blessed by tomorrow. By Tom Zart!
ZERO residents live in that stretch This is all the city council cares about. ZERO residents actually live there. We have literally piles and piles and piles of debris and garbage all over the city trees fallen into sidewalk, drainage ditches collapsed. and residents are getting ZERO services
I grew up in belleair Beach right up the street and is a child would find bombs from the practice of the invasion of D-Day. When these type of hurricane events happen and moves the sand around this is when you find those live bombs in other extended ordinance
the video is mostly showing the hotels, too many have been built in Clearwater beach in recent years and they are still building more. City loves the money from hotel room taxes
Ouch! Look at this damn big block on the water's edge!!! He’s the one who’s not in the right place!!!! This is the one that should be moved, the rest is ok.
It's almost tourist season🕊️ double whammies😢 but that's one thing about the tourist industry we don't sit still 😉 for long 🥰 we'll get though this as well ❤️🩹❤️🔥
2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Version 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Somebody was watching laying down with the phone above their face and didn't realize it was 360° video and you have to move your phone or swipe to see everything
It is a war zone.... The residential low level homes... Not in tourist areas. You wouldn't know because you're obviously not local. My parents house got 6 inch of water. Thousands of families displaced. You Don't even know what your talking about and that's a disgrace.
Such a sad sight 😢. Loved going to Clearwater beach whenever I could. God Bless 🙏 ❤️!

Bruh!!! 🤯🤯
🤯🤯🤯
No literally I was so shocked when I realized I could move my phone around and look everywhere
What's funny is that if you look at the sun you might feel a little pain in your eyes, even though there's no danger
Thank you for sharing. So devastating. Praying Beachview Inn and Surf Style can come back. Thoughts and prayers from Illinois. 😢😮
🌴😒 Wow.!! It moved so much sand.!!
Technology is wild
And easily manipulated
@@piratepete842this is very real

How about no more building!!! Leave the sand where it wants to be!!!

Mother nature says, " go away..."..... 🌊
They Turning up the harp machine extra this year!
That's what I think and people think I'm crazy lol

I enjoyed the video excellent view, Clearwater continue the recovery ❤️🩹 I miss it !
Now you know how these Barrier islands formed
Like snow drifts
How are the residential homes in the area? Were they damaged badly or they are ok ?
dunes might be a nice look smooth them out I helped put the top floors of the sea towers at clrw beach
ZERO residents live in that stretch This is all the city council cares about. ZERO residents actually live there. We have literally piles and piles and piles of debris and garbage all over the city trees fallen into sidewalk, drainage ditches collapsed. and residents are getting ZERO services
Guys it's bad but it's not the end of the world. A warzone? Come on it looks like a sand storm if abything
Similar energy output to a nuke so. It's understandable the damage looks that way
Fr💀
Nothing compared to western Carolina.
This is.
Normal mother nature.
Then, why call for God? last time, You taught, you were in danger, i know you did. every single one of us did.
I’m going to rebuild right here on the beach, right after I rebuild my house that was burned down again by the volcano.
After so many storm surge warnings over the years, I quit believing it could ever happen. Now I'm thinking, who's going to pay for all the damages?
What camera is that?
❌❌❌❌ unfortunately y'all got another hurricane on its way out there.... Milton

Can you make a video north of Pier 60 showing the stores and shops up towards Fenchys and the Palm Pavillion?
Nice video.
😢. We live 35 min away in tarpon springs.
Do you know why everything's going to be rebuilt? Politicians love the property taxes brought in by multi-million dollar homes.
I think they leveled it to make even more money.

@@markfirth966 i the Mom and Pop feel, but I get it..
TRASH all the buildings. Return our barrier islands & beaches to pristine marsh and sand. Make ALL the beaches into state parks
It's what mother nature is going to do anyways, I agree.
I have been saying this for 55 years now. Allow regulated businesses, but no residential.
Very cool!!! Before you know it, we will be moving around in still puctures soon like Harry Potter😅😅😅
For a moment I thought I could smell it.
Wow…where do people even start….overwhelming
It is like a snowstorm
Looks like a war zone. Im so sad for our local communities and beyond.
Ouch! Look at this damn big block on the water's edge!!! He’s the one who’s not in the right place!!!! This is the one that should be moved, the rest is ok.
Great blurry video. Must be the same camera that takes pictures of Bigfoot
its 360 footage. looks a bit lower resolution but theres the same amount of pixels. just drag it around you can see every angle
I like this the camera
Does anyone know how 440 west faired?
Yes. But you don’t want me to tell you🦈🐋🐳🐬💨
No rebuilding. Barrier islands are expendable and forever changing.
It got rid of buildings that should have been built stronger.
Just like Andrew in Sotuh Florida.

I thought it would be cleaned up in 2 or 3 days. I guess I didn't realize how bad it was! My mistake!
Probably more like 2/3 weeks but it will get there
Gaza says hello
Contractors come in now?
Sure thing. The officials all have their Cayman accounts readyi.
why not put the sand back on the beach
Because it is filled with trash. It would need to be sifted first.
It wd help to have a before hurricane pic
looks like after a snowstorm lol
GOD REDECORATED LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!!
the sand dunes are back
Who's here from lakeland florida❤
Just you 🎉
It's not Clearwater beach
It has not been in 30:years. Developers ruined it.

Hardly recognizable.😢
All that sand got washed up the beach
15 foot waves with high wind
Vote Blue to combat climate change!
No not my favorite beach
Only decent beach in that area is Caladesi.
This video only shows the sky umm what ? And why ?
What video are you watching? It shows the ground and the devastation.
